(Clearwisdom.net) As Dafa practitioners, we all know that as long as we truly cultivate, Master will cleanse our bodies and help us to reach the state of being free of illness. At the same time, our entire bodies will become youthful again, and on the surface, we will look very young relative to our actual age.
This is given by Dafa, so we should use it to validate the Fa, but some fellow practitioners' righteous thoughts are not strong. When someone complimented one practitioner's youthful look, he felt quite happy, even though he didn't say anything. He didn't use it to validate Dafa, which may have caused sentient beings to lose a chance to be saved.
There is a practitioner in our area who is in his fifties, and he began practicing over ten years ago. He looks now like someone in his forties, with a full head of black hair and smooth skin, and he is full of energy. When he clarifies the facts and persuades people to withdraw from the Party, he often uses his physical condition as an example to illustrate Dafa's amazing effect on a cultivator's health.
One day, he met a man who looked to be in his fifties, and who was dressed like a farmer. This man was somewhat humpbacked and looked very worried. The practitioner chatted with him and found out that he came to the city to treat his grandson's illness. He was very poor, and his grandson was gravely ill. He wasn't in good health himself, either. The practitioner told him not to worry and said, "Let me tell you a big secret of life. Recite the words, Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Not only might your grandson recover, everything in your family will go smoothly." The practitioner learned that the man had joined the Chinese Communist Youth League, so he told him about the importance and urgency of withdrawing from the CCP's organizations. The man agreed to have the practitioner help him quit the Youth League. He said with great gratitude, "Young man, you are such a good person!" The practitioner smiled and said, "You called me young man, and I am not a young man anymore. How old are you?" "I am fifty-two this year," the farmer replied. The practitioner said, "I am older than you, actually." The farmer was stunned. "You didn't lie to me? You are telling me the truth?" The practitioner said, "I wouldn't lie to you. I practice Falun Gong, which is about Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. After people practice Falun Gong, their health improves and they look and feel younger." The farmer was very excited and said, "I want to learn Falun Gong. Can you teach me?" Later, the practitioner showed the farmer the book Zhuan Falun, and he indeed began practicing.
As we cultivate, we do still have human mindsets sometimes. On one hand, we do what divine beings do, clarifying the facts with righteous thoughts, eliminating evil, and saving people. On the other hand, we cultivate among everyday people and improve our xinxing while eliminating various human attachments. Having a youthful look provides a good way to validate the Fa while clarifying the facts to people. People can see it with their own eyes, so they have to believe it. How we can better utilize this example depends on the practitioner's righteous thoughts and whether we remember, at every minute, that we are cultivators. One practitioner said that there was another practitioner who appeared to be very young. He was actually in his fifties, but if you said that he is in his thirties or forties, people would believe it. One day he was chatting on-line and his human thoughts surfaced. He wanted to meet a female chat partner who was more than ten years younger than him, to prove his youth. It was a bad thought that arose out of lust. Fortunately, that practitioner quickly realized it and changed his mind. He looked within painstakingly and rectified himself with the Fa.
At the last moment of Master's Fa-rectification, we must not allow anything to interfere with our righteous thoughts and affect us as we do the three things. Let us use our pure hearts, divine thoughts and actions to help Master rectify the Fa and end the persecution.
