(Clearwisdom.net) At last year's "Fa-Teaching Given to the Australian Practitioners," Teacher mentioned that we are competing with the old forces to save more people. Since we are at the end of the final phase of Fa-rectification, it's urgent that we save people as quickly as possible. My understanding of what Teacher said is that we should have a sense of urgency when it comes to saving people. I'd like to use the analogy of soldiers on the front line of a battleground. On the battlefield, injured soldiers have to be rescued with great speed. It is not possible to thoroughly treat the soldiers on site. Instead, casualties are stabilized quickly, and then sent to field hospitals for further treatment and recovery. At the same time, the rescue effort has to be carried out with great care. Otherwise, careless or irrational acts may not only jeopardize the rescue efforts, they may even hurt the rescuers. That is, the first step is for the rescuers to move the injured soldiers to a safe place with speed and care.
When I talk to people about withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, I normally go directly to the topic. First, I greet the person, then I ask if they are a member of the Communist Party, Communist Youth League or the Young Pioneers. If they say yes, I tell them how this would endanger their lives. Once they understand, they agree to withdraw from the Party. I then tell them to recite sincerely "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance are good." Most people accept happily and thank me. I think this is like the first step of the rescue effort that occurs on a battlefield. Since practitioners distribute truth clarification materials in many places, if the person reads it carefully, this person's life will be looked after by divine beings; so in a sense, he is now fully recovered.
When we talk to people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and the evil nature of the CCP, every practitioner becomes a mobile truth clarification booth and service center for quitting the CCP. We are embodying the truth. When a kind, calm, and graceful practitioner tells people the facts about Falun Gong, the persecution, and the CCP, those predestined people will listen and won't even want to leave. They see with their own eyes how practitioners defy the iron fist of the CCP and put themselves at risk so more people can learn the facts. The beauty and virtue of Dafa and practitioners, as stated in our fliers and CDs, are indeed manifested in front of them. People all have a knowing side that can understand that we are doing this for them, and they may be moved. Many people ask me whether I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I do not answer yes or no. Instead, I say: "It seems you are familiar with Falun Gong. You must have heard about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. That's great. Have you withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations?" It is truly like Teacher said in "Fa Teaching at the 2008 New York Conference,"
"The surface dimension has the look of something that would be punctured from just a little poke."
The other day, after a middle-aged man heard what I said, he said, "Wow, I finally found a practitioner. I have read many Falun Gong materials but never met a practitioner. I was dying to find out more about all this. Please sit down and tell me more." Later he agreed to withdraw from the Communist Youth League and wanted to help his relatives withdraw too.
Nowadays, many people are so busy seeking materialism and pleasure that they don't feel they have time to listen to us. Many people are talking on their cell phones as they walk down the street. We have to wait for them to complete their phone calls so we can talk to them. Sometimes, they receive phone calls while we are talking to them. Those phone calls are a kind of interference, and we should send righteous thoughts to eliminate the interference. Some people tell us that they don't understand what we are talking about and walk away after we spend quite a while talking to them. A few people refuse to listen to us. Although I am not attached to the results, I feel disheartened by these types of people and think to myself: "Why is it so hard to save people?" Whenever I want to give up on them, I adjust my thinking and don't allow myself to feel discouraged. I know that my discouragement would only make the old forces happy. I vowed not to let that happen. I don't want Teacher to worry about us. Whenever I think about how Teacher is anxious for those practitioners who do not let go of their attachments, I want to cry. I keep telling myself: Don't feel discouraged, don't flinch, look inward when running into issues, improve my deficiencies, and move forward. We should cultivate diligently so Teacher will be happy for us.
Two days ago, I met two boys. When I started talking to them, one boy said: "Ma'am, you told me this the other day and your words were unforgettable. I helped another boy withdraw from the Communist Youth League." "Unforgettable", that word struck me. I realized that it is so important for us to cultivate ourselves well. Only if we cultivate ourselves well will our words be filled with benevolence and power. Only then will our words be moving and unforgettable. Of course, good cultivation is based on Fa study. We need to study the Fa more, study the Fa well, and always remember who we are and what we are doing here. We should never forget that Teacher is always with us and Teacher is doing everything for us.
In truth clarification, I encounter different reactions, from praise, to ridicule, and total rejection. The whole process helps expose my human attachments and eliminate them. It also helps me to have a deeper understanding of what Teacher said in "Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference,"
"Human society is one big practice site for the cultivation of my Dafa disciples."
During this time when much of the evil has been eliminated and Teacher created a cultivation environment that could be "punctured with just a little poke," let's work together to puncture the whole surface dimension so evil factors have nowhere to hide. Then, the old forces will lose ground and dissipate, and the persecution will naturally end.
