Joining them was the new Director, Fan Yanhong, under the direction of the Chief of the Police Station, Liu Zhipeng. They arrived at Kongjundao Village, Chengguan Town at noon to conduct the illegal ransacking and arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Kong Lingba and Yang Jianxun.
Around 3 p.m., this group of people went to the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Peifang from Gucheng Village, Chengguan Town. They forcibly arrested Ma Peifang using the excuse of searching for a satellite TV receiver. The villagers and relatives tried to stop the police from abducting Ma Peifang. The police beat them, injuring one family member and another relative. Ma Peifang's spouse was pushed to the floor trying to stop them. Despite the villagers' efforts, Ma Peifang was still forced into the police car with the help of a number of police officers. Ma Peifang is now detained in the Raoyang County Police Station.
According to local officials, the goal of arresting Falun Dafa practitioners was to put them in the Hengshui brainwashing center until the Olympics ended.
On the morning of July 14th, Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Ju'an from Gucheng Village, Raoyang County, Hebei Province was reported to the police while distributing truth-clarifying materials in Daqi Village, Hefang Township. He was arrested and sent to the Police Substation. One police officer told him to kneel down, but he refused. Another officer walked up to him and slapped his face. He didn't yield, and the police left. Later his family paid several thousand yuan and were able to take him home.
Around 2a.m. on the night of July 24th, police officer Fan Yanhong led eight police cars to Falun Dafa practitioner He Jiangang's home in Yinglin Village, Liuchu Township, Raoyang County. They had to climb over a fence to get to the house. When they found He Jiangang was not at home, they left.
Three Falun Dafa practitioners are illegally detained in the Raoyang Detention Center, and two are detained in the Hengshui Brainwashing Center.
Collaborators Yang Zhongshen, Li Sushang, Zhang Wensu, and one called Mei are involved in the persecution.
