(Clearwisdom.net) From August 8 to 18, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Krasnoyarsk and Abakan in Siberia, Russia participated in the annual Vissarionovtsev religious community carnival to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China to local residents.

Every year at this time, many tourists from Russia and other countries around the world come to a farm village in southern Krasnoyarskiy Kray to participate in the carnival celebration. Falun Gong practitioners held various activities to help tourists from afar know the beauty and goodness of Falun Gong. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and taught those who had an interest how to fold lotus flowers, which symbolize the practitioners' integrity and high moral standards.
In addition, Falun Dafa practitioners also held a small scale International Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition. The exquisite artistic works revealed Falun Gong's magnificence and the practitioners' unyielding spirit in the face of the persecution.
Through the activities, many tourists have come to know the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. After learning the Falun Gong exercises, some people invited their friends and family members to learn them as well.
