(Clearwisdom.net) Soon after learning Falun Dafa, I became instilled with a sense of responsibility, urgency and mission. Although I have room to improve in my cultivation, and many human mentalities remain to be removed, for the past eight years, I have followed Teacher on my path to validate Dafa. I have managed to avoid persecution because I listen to what Teacher tells us:
"We negate even the very emergence of the old forces and everything that they've arranged; we don't even acknowledge their existence. We're fundamentally negating all of their things, and all of, and only, the things you do while negating and getting rid of them is mighty-virtue." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference")
We have to completely negate the arrangements of the old forces and save the sentient beings with righteous thoughts and actions. How can we do that? It's not just empty talk, but a test of practitioners' cultivation while validating the Fa. Teacher has said,
"We have said that good or evil comes from a person's spontaneous thought, and the thought at that moment can bring about different consequences." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture 4 )
It is most important to study the Fa well and more often, and have faith in Teacher and Dafa. When facing the evil, have confidence in yourself and think of yourself as a divine being that is as tall as the heavens and incomparably noble, with an enormous body. The evil will disintegrate. Let me share with you some of my experiences.
Several years ago when I was illegally detained, many of us contracted scabies while jailed. One day, I was scratching my left wrist inadvertently when a fellow practitioner commented, "You are also getting scabies. Look, you are scratching, too." All of a sudden, I realized something. I then looked at the small red bump on my wrist and began slapping it and said, "Go away, I don't need you. I don't have time to attend to you." Everybody laughed. However, it was not a joke. This is eliminating the evil with righteous thoughts. Once, when I heard a practitioner was arrested, I called upon others to send forth righteous thoughts before I notified their family. Some practitioners worried, "What if...." I never had this thought. I only had the righteous thought that there would not be any problem: everything would be fine.
One evening three practitioners were arrested while they were distributing the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party". Around 3:00 a.m., a local coordinator came to my house to break the news to me. As soon as I saw the expression on his face, I knew what had happened. I just asked for the practitioners' names, put on my jacket and went out without even locking my door. When I got to the practitioner's house, the police had just left. I removed a box of copies of the Nine Commentaries and a lot of truth-clarification materials and CDs from the house. Shortly after doing this, I got on my bike to leave just as the police returned to ransack the practitioner's home. Under Teacher's protection, I managed to narrowly escape from this dangerous situation.
I believe that "what if" is not a righteous thought. "Absolutely no problem" is a thought that negates the old force arrangements and eliminates the evil. As long as I have righteous thoughts, there will not be any loss to the whole body and fellow practitioners.
After we participated in the taping of a news segment for local broadcasting, a practitioner who was wanted by the police had to leave town. On the day he left, he asked me to go to his place to pick up some clothing. The second time I went to his place I could not open the security door. I realized that I should not be attached to this and I should just go home. Several days later his family members told me that soon after I left, six police officers came and waited at the home. If I had left a moment later, I would have been detained. Is this a coincidence? No. Only if your mind is righteous can you block the evil and appreciate Teacher's assistance.
Once, one of our local practitioners was under house arrest. Her phone and electrical lines were cut off and the police monitored anyone who came to see her. Even her relatives would not take the chance and attempt to visit her. I decided to get her out. I text messaged her that I was coming to pick her up for her father's birthday and asked her to be prepared. I arrived bringing some vegetables with me and pretending to be her relative. Upon my arrival I found that all the police were gone, except for one who was sleeping in a car in front of the building. I picked her up and promptly left the premises in a cab.
On December 31, 2005, the police went on a rampage to arrest practitioners. I went with a fellow practitioner to a secondary school to hang a banner. When I tossed up the banner, it didn't catch on the wire and fell to the ground in front of a police car. The car with three police officers inside stopped. My mind was totally on how to hang up the banner. The police may have been blocked by my righteous thoughts. The car stopped for a bit, then started to roll forward. I said to them, "Don't run over it. Don't run over it!" Guided by me, they drove around the banner and stopped again. It didn't bother me. I merely picked up the banner and followed the car, checking out the electrical wire at the same time. The police inside the car also looked at me while the car crept forward. They drove away and I hung up the banner. When my fellow practitioner saw the police car right in front of me, she sent forth righteous thoughts right away. This is an example of the whole body at work.
As soon as I got home and picked up Zhuan Falun to read, two practitioners came by and told me that a practitioner was trapped at home. They wanted my advice. I suggested sending forth righteous thoughts and going to pick her up. I called a cab and quickly arrived at her building to check things out. The three of us succeeded in getting her out of the house and removed all the equipment to another location. When I returned home, it was 11:00 p.m., one hour before the time to send forth righteous thoughts. When I was about to read Zhuan Falun, I saw Teacher smiling at me. I was a little embarrassed. In fact, I didn't do anything. Everything was done by Teacher.
A most unforgettable situation occurred in 2000, when many practitioners were suffering from the persecution. I moved the truth-clarification materials production site to my place and during the subsequent three years, I was able to produce materials without incident. One day, a practitioner hired a tractor to transport the materials. As soon as I got up the stairs, one box of materials fell all over the stairs. I realized that I must have attachments to remove because it happened right in front of me. I thought I was rushing too much. So I quickly picked up the materials while my fellow practitioners moved the materials into my place, bringing the driver of the tractor, too. It was very dangerous to expose the materials production site to non-practitioners. At the time I didn't protest and thought to myself, "What is there to fear with Teacher and the Fa, We will treat it with righteous thoughts." I comforted the fellow practitioner who felt very bad about this situation. As long as we do better next time, if we treat this with righteous thoughts, the evil will not touch us because we have Teacher protecting us.
The above is what I have enlightened to. Due to my limited level, please kindly point out anything inappropriate. I have so much to share about the past few years of validating the Fa. I would also like to encourage those who have not stepped forward to not be scared. We have Teacher and the Fa. Catch up and advance diligently on your path to assist Teacher with Fa-rectification.
