Mr. Xie Liangchao, Mr. Gao Shouhai and Ms. Li Ningxia were arrested from their homes on May 16, 2008. Police confiscated several printers, CD burners, computers, and a large sum of cash on May 17, 2008. Mr. Xie is presently being held in the Taerpo Drug Rehabilitation Center in Xianyang City.

3. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Twenty-five-year-old Mr. Xiaogang was arrested on May 21, 2008. Fifty-year-old Mr. Zhang Zhaoyu was arrested on May 22, 2008, but his wife successfully escaped. The police also arrested Ms. Wang Hong, Laosi, and Laowu.
About 20 plainclothes policemen broke into the home of Mr. Zhao Xiushun and his wife, Ms. Wang Suxiang, in Zhaojia Village, Gucheng Township, Shouguang City, on the afternoon of May 23, 2008. They also arrested Mr. Zhao's brother, Mr. Zhao Xiutang, and confiscated a computer and a printer.
4. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Tianhe District Court Agents Plan to Sentence Mr. Feng Zhigang
Tianhe District Court agents tried Mr. Feng Zhigang on February 28, 2008. Mr. Feng is presently being held in the district's detention center where he has been since September 23, 2007. It is heard recently that the court agents plan to sentence Mr. Feng.
Mr. Feng had been tortured to near death when he was in a forced labor camp a few years ago. He recovered, but shortly afterwards the police arrested him again in September 2007. Mr. Feng is in poor health and is being held in a small compartment.

5. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Yu Appealed, and is Facing Trial
Mr. Zhao Yu was arrested on a bus traveling from Jinzhou City to Shenyang City on February 25, 2008. He was then sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to the Jinzhou City Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Zhao did not cooperate with the guards and did the Falun Gong exercises in the camp. He appealed for unconditional release on May 5, 2008. Mr. Zhao's family got a notice that his trial will be in the forced labor camp at 1:30 p.m. on June 3, 2008.
6. [Shandong Province] Ms. Yao Bin and Ms. Jiang Hongxia Put in a Detention Center on the Morning of May 22, 2008
7. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Seven practitioners including Mr. Liu Gang, Ms. Wang Yufeng, and Huang from Pingdingshan City were arrested on the afternoon of May 18, 2008.

9. [Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Police from Pizhou City broke into Ms. He's home at 11:00 p.m. on April 15, 2008. Ms. He is a retired teacher from the Yunhe Normal Institute. The police also arrested Ms. Zhao Zongjun, a retired employee and former agricultural factory director, at 11:00 p.m. on April 17, 2008. Police arrested a 60-year-old woman practitioner. The three practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Lijuan Arrested
Personnel from the Liaoyuan City Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Zhao Lijun at 10:00 a.m. on May 12, 2008. Ms. Zhao is presently being held in the city's detention center. As her husband, Mr. Hou, works in the police system, he has been suspended from his job and forced to do introspection.

12. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] A Few Practitioners Arrested and House Ransacked
Police arrested Ms. Wang Meifeng and her husband, Ms. Wang Suxiang and her husband, Mr. Zhao Xiushun, and non-practitioner Mr. Zhao Xiutang from Zhaojia Village, Gucheng Street Administration Office, at 5:00 p.m. on May 23, 2008. Police confiscated a printer and some other items.
13. [Tianjin] Several Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Zhao Gang, 24, was arrested on May 21, 2008. Later the police forced Mr. Zhao to assist them identifying and arresting 32-year-old Ms. Li Donglian, who was arrested at 5:00 p.m. on May 21, 2008, when she was on her way home. The police confiscated many Falun Gong truth clarification materials. They also arrested 70-year-old Ms. Zhang Shuxiang at her home and confiscated some Falun Gong materials at 7:00 p.m. on May 21, 2008.

15. [Chongqing] Ms. Gou Yuanchao Arrested
Ms. Gou Yuanchao from the Dadukou District in Chongqing was arrested and taken to Chunhui Police Station on the afternoon of May 22, 2008. The arrest happened when she distributed Falun Gong truth clarification materials. Police ransacked her home and put her in the district's detention center.

16. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Xiuyun Arrested
Ms. Sun Xiuyun was arrested at 7:00 p.m. on May 10, 2008, for explaining the Falun Gong facts in Nankongjiatun Village, Wuchang City. She was held in the city's Domestic Security Division but is currently being held in the city's No. 2 Detention Center.

18. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Wanzhi Arrested
Mr. Wang Wanzhi, 60, is a retired teacher from the Hongzhuan Primary School in Xuanhan County, Dazhou City. Local police arrested him on May 18, 2008, and told him that if he told them the names of a few practitioners he would be released. Mr. Wang refused, so he has been detained ever since.

20. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shan Shuli Arrested
Police arrested Ms. Shan Shuli, 40, from Wanjia Village, Gaomi City, on the morning of May 22, 2008. They ransacked her home and confiscated several Falun Gong books and truth clarification materials. Ms. Shan is presently being held in the city's detention center.

21. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Dianhua and His Wife, Ms. Yang Fengzhen, on the Wanted List--Their Daughter Held as Hostage
Mr. Li Dianhua and his wife, Ms. Yang Fengzhen, are from Nanyingzi Village, Daoerdeng Town, Lingyuan City. Police arrested the couple at the Beijing Railway Station on April 29, 2008, when they were on their way to Guangdong Province to visit a relative. The couple successfully escaped, but police then arrested their non-practitioner daughter and took her hostage. The practitioner couple now lives away from home.

23. [Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Lan Avoids Arrest
Personnel from the Dazhou City 610 Office set up a brainwashing session to persecute practitioners. They attempted to arrest Mr. Zhang Lan, but he successfully escaped. Mr. Zhang decided he could not go home.

24. [Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Yuefu Arrested
Mr. Yang Yuefu is from Dazhuhe Town, Wanyuan City. Local 610 Office and Domestic Security Division personnel often persecute him, thus he leads a difficult life. He had planned to go to Shaanxi Province to find work. When he got the Wanyuan City Railway Station at 9:20 a.m. on May 7, 2008, the police arrested him and put him in the Dazhou City Brainwashing Center.
25. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Personnel from the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp Persecute Practitioners
Personnel from the Xisantiao Police Station in the Kuancheng District, Changchun City, arrested Ms. An Fengxiang at 6:00 a.m. on April 24, 2008, and held her for 15 days. Because Ms. An refused to give up Falun Gong practice, the police sentenced her to one year of forced labor in Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp's No. 2 Division.
Ms. Zhang Hongqin, Ms. Zhou Shuzhi, Ms. Zhu Shuyun, Ms. Qiao Shuzhen, and Ms. An Fengxiang did not give up Falun Gong practice, so police tortured them in many ways.
26. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Sun Xiaomin, Mr. Liu Kecheng, and Ms. Guo Zhaomei from Duliang Township, Kaifeng County, were arrested and are presently being held in the county's detention center.
27. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Helin's Home Ransacked
610 Office head Dai Chunjie and a dozen police officers broke into Mr. Zhang Helin's home at 12:00 p.m. on May 21, 2008. They confiscated a satellite dish, a recorder, certain of Master's lecture tapes, and five bottles of printer ink.
Mr. Zhang, in his 50s, is from Xinzhuangtou Village, Wangcun Township, Laishui County. The police had arrested him several times since July 20, 1999, when the persecution began. Mr. Zhang had been held in the county's detention center for a month and had 10,000 yuan extorted from him.
28. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Police Arrest Mr. Li Shicun
Mr. Li Shicun, 59, was arrested and taken to the Sili Street Police Station in the Lixia District, Jinan City at 10:00 a.m. on May 19, 2008. The arrest happened when he distributed Falun Gong truth clarification materials in Changshan Street. More than ten policemen ransacked his home at 5:00 p.m. on May 20, 2008. Mr. Li and many other practitioners are currently being held in the city's 610 Office Brainwashing Center.
29. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Wenpei Arrested
Four officers from the Dongcheng Police Station broke into Ms. Chen Wenpei's home in Xibalizhuang Village, the Haidian District, and arrested her on May 17, 2008. The police also ransacked her home.
30. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. He Shuqiong Arrested
Ms. He Shuqiong went to Wensheng Town, Shehong County, to explain the Falun Gong facts on May 23, 2008. Local police followed and then arrested her and eventually took her to Suining City.
31. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Fengwu and Ms. Wang Dongxiu Arrested
Personnel from the Jiangdong Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Fengwu, 63, and Ms. Wang Dongxiu, 65, on May 10, 2008. The police put the two practitioners in the county's detention center and then ransacked their homes.

Ms. Wang Shuhua and Ms. Li Shumin from Wujiagou Village, Dagushan Town, Rushan City, were arrested on the afternoon of May 14, 2008. They are currently being held in the Rushan Detention Center.

34. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Nige Arrested
Ms. Li Nige is a teacher from the Xi'an City Yangling Forest Institute. She explained the Falun Gong facts to her students, and personnel from the local 610 Office arrested her on May 7, 2008. Police later ransacked her home.
