(Clearwisdom.net) As the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents in Flushing's (NY) harassment of Falun Gong practitioners continues, I do not know how many fellow practitioners in China even know about the events that have taken place there. After seeing the pictures from those events, I have not seen any experience sharing articles about it. There is no way for me to know how many fellow practitioners in mainland China know of or have even payed attention to it.

I remember once reading an experience sharing article talking about the fact that most fellow practitioners tend to skip the persecution articles when they read articles on Dafa websites and the "Minghui Weekly" newsletter. That is to say, they do not pay much attention to the suffering of practitioners caused by the persecution. Thus unconsciously, as time goes on, they become more and more numb.

Over the past few years, practitioners have talked about a variety of subjects among each other. Topics have ranged from fellow practitioners having some hope towards the former CCP Premier or hopes held towards the 16th National Party Congress, to discussions aroused by the SARS crisis, too much attachment to certain prophecies, the recent disturbance caused by a novel, discussions about the open letter by Wang Zhaoyun, special attention and discussion of the 17th National Party Congress, too much attention and discussion about the snow disaster that happened in China, attention to and discussions about Tibet and the Olympic Human Rights Torch Relay and too many discussions about the earthquake, etc. Some practitioners have even paid a lot of attention to the plot of a TV series broadcast on NTDTV. From this we can see that some practitioners are still focusing on superficial things and have way too many attachments to those events. I seldom see them talking about the persecution of fellow practitioners.

For those practitioners who have access to the Internet, I know that some are attracted to ordinary daily events and cannot let go of them, still talking about them with too much interest. Some spend little time reading articles about cultivation. Many fellow practitioners are not unfamiliar to this kind of situation. When practitioners in China are still trying to get rid of the attachment to watching TV, how many of you think about what our fellow practitioners abroad are doing?

Teacher said:

"Disciple: Master, please talk about how to balance the demands of doing one project better alongside launching into more projects.

Master: That will depend on how you coordinate things among yourselves. How you balance it is up to you. The amount of energy that a person needs to put into a project to do it well must be sizeable. If new projects are started up on top of [what you already have], time is certainly going to be tight. That's often the case. How should these things be handled? Many of our Dafa disciples have responsibilities in multiple projects, and things are indeed quite difficult. Master knows about your challenges. In the future, I will tell the Dafa disciples in mainland China about these challenges you have dealt with, and let them know about how you, under such trying circumstances, have validated the Fa and restrained the evil's persecution of them." (Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference)

That is what I am trying to say in this short article: As a whole body, I am wondering whether our fellow practitioners in mainland China truly care about fellow practitioners abroad. When we have Internet software that can help us break through the CCP's Internet blockade, when we can visit so many websites by using this Internet software and read such broader content from the Internet, when we can read and watch Dafa programs, especially recent years' NTDTV Chinese New Year Gala shows, and when we notice that our surrounding environment is becoming more and more relaxed, did we ever think about what big sacrifices those fellow practitioners abroad have contributed and the hardships they have encountered which are so hard to express in words?

Therefore, after the brutal attack by the CCP agents in Flushing, New York, practitioners in mainland China should think it over and see whether we have some kind of mindset that is hard to notice: What they [practitioners abroad] did was what they were supposed to do. It sounds like we will certainly benefit from their accomplishments. Mainland practitioners might have a gap between themselves and fellow practitioners abroad. Dafa practitioners in mainland China and abroad should be one whole body. We should care about each other and support and encourage each other. However, the result is that we have been separated in our hearts and have not even noticed it. Isn't this the arrangement of the old forces? Shouldn't we break through it?

Of course, it is very urgent to clarify the truth concerning the rumors fabricated by the CCP and save sentient beings. However, I felt it important to raise another viewpoint in this article and hope it can be a reference for some fellow practitioners. Please kindly point out any mistakes there may be.
