(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 28 cities or counties in 14 provinces. In this report, 13 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 42 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Junyuan Critically Ill
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Pang Junyuan of Zhangjialou, Jiaonan City is being severely persecuted at the Changchun No. 1 Police Hospital. She vomits after she eats every day and has blood in her stool. Her life is in danger.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Hu Jiqiong Subjected to Torture
Practitioner Ms. Hu Jiqiong was transferred from Fengtai Detention Center to Public Security Section 7 for further torture in early May.
3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Xiuqing Sentenced
On September 3, 2007, Ms. Song Xiuqing was seized by police and sentenced to five years of imprisonment. She was first imprisoned at the Fujian Province No. 2 Women's Prison. She recently developed high blood pressure as a result of being tortured.
4. [Ling County, Shandong Province] Practitioner's Husband Li Peiquan in Forced Labor for Helping Falun Gong Practitioners
Libaidu villager Mr. Li Peiquan is 43 years old. A non-practitioner, he often helps Falun Gong practitioners hand out materials. He was reported and arrested at 10:00 a.m. on April 30 for handing out Falun Gong truth-clarification materials, and later detained at Ling County Detention Center in Shandong Province. He was sent to a forced labor camp on May 30.
5. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Six Falun Gong Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp
From April to May 2008, Yishui County practitioners Ms. Ma Shaoli, Ms. Huang Chengmei, Ms. Geng Zhurong, Ms. Zhang Yuzhi, Ms. Wang Guirong, and Ms. Li Xiuying were sent to forced labor camp. Geng Zhurong was sent home, as she did not pass the health check. The other five practitioners were sentenced to one to two years of forced labor.

7. [Qingyun County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhenfen Arrested at Home on June 5 at 9:00 a.m.
8. [Liangshan, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Jinrong and Mr. Peng Guangrong Arrested
On June 2, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Wang Jinrong and Mr. Peng Guangrong were seized by police for handing out truth-clarification materials, and they are now being held at the county detention center.
9. [Shanghai] Mr. Hu Zhongtian Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Hu Zhongtian from Changning District was arrested on or around May 25.
10. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Sun Yafei and Wife Arrested
At around 2:00 p.m. on June 4, Baoding City practitioners Mr. Sun Yafei and wife Ms. Wang Linggai were seized by police from the West Road Police Station in Beishi District, Baoding City, and are being detained at the Domestic Security Division at No. 201 West Tianwei Road.
11. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jiasheng and Ms. Tang Jianying Arrested
At 2:00 p.m. on June 4, the Domestic Security Division of Yunhe District Public Security Sub-bureau in Cangzhou City seized Mr. Wang Jiasheng and wife Ms. Tang Jianying from their home. Police confiscated a notebook, printer, DVD burner and many personal items.

12. [Anguo City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Liying and Others Arrested
At 3:00 p.m. on June 4, Anguo City practitioners Ms. Yang Liying, Ms. Gao Junfang, Ms. Jin Tonghui, and Ms. Miao Aibin were studying the Fa together. Police from the Anguo City Public Security Bureau's Domestic Security Division and Yaoshi Police Station suddenly seized the four ladies for "holding an illegal gathering." After eight hours of interrogation, they were sent to the Anguo City Detention Center.

13. [Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wu Jinlian Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Wu Jinlian of Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province was arrested by the Domestic Security Division on May 11, 2008. Wu Jinlian is now being detained at Xinghua Detention Center.
14. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner's Daughter Seized as Hostage
At around 10:00 p.m. on May 29, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gu Yuenian's daughter was arrested by Beihu Post and Telecommunications No. 3 Company dormitory family dependents' committee and the Beihu Police Station. They said that they would release her only if she handed over her mother.
15. [Chongqing City] Mr. Xia Daoping Seized
At 1:00 p.m. on May 23, six policemen from the Jiangbei Public Security Bureau broke into the dental clinic of Jiangbei District Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xia Daoping, arrested him and searched his home. They confiscated 51,000 yuan in cash, which was Mr. Xia's down payment for purchasing a housing unit, three portraits of Teacher and two cassettes.
16. [Ningxia City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Lifang Arrested
At noon on June 4, Ningxia practitioner Ms. Wang Lifang was arrested from home at Yinchuan City by police from the Jingbian County's Domestic Security Division of Shanxi Province. Police confiscated Falun Gong materials and books.
17. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Shuangquan and Others Arrested
On around May 21, the Hengyang City 272 Factory Xinhua Police Station and Hengyang City Public Security Bureau seized Mr. Liu Shuangquan, Ms. Zhang Guolan, Mr. Jiang Zhengchao and others from the 272 Factory. They were detained for ten days.
Liu Shuangquan has been detained many times, and her leg is now disabled. Zhang Guolan has been harassed and detained many times and has been separated from her husband.
18. [Qin'an County, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Caihe Imprisoned
Ms. Wang Caihe of Zhanggou Village, Longcheng Township, Qin'an County was arrested by officers from the Tianshui City Public Security Bureau and Longcheng Township Police Station on around June 4, 2008, and is now being detained at the Qin'an County Detention Center.
19. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Changping Arrested
On the morning of June 4, practitioner Ms. Wang Changping of Dongmafang, Yingcheng City went to the Gepu Town Police Station in Yunmeng County, clarified the truth and requested that the police station release two Falun Gong practitioners that were arrested on June 1, 2008. She was forcibly seized by police and is being detained at the Yingcheng City No. 2 Detention Center.
20. [Fujian Province] Ms. Chen Xue Arrested by 610 Office Agents
Ms. Chen Xue is on the faculty at the Computer Science Department of Fujian Engineering College. After she told one of her students about the movement to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliations on the bus, the student reported her. She was then arrested by the 610 Office agents from the Jinan District Public Security Sub-bureau in Fuzhou on May 9, 2008. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
21. [Miluo City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Ruirui's Home Ransacked
After 8:00 p.m. on May 31, 2008, policemen from the Miluo City 610 Office and Chengguan Police Station broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Liu Ruirui, took photos of her, and confiscated Dafa books, cash and other belongings. Liu Ruirui was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.
22. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Jihui Arrested
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Jihui of Jiulong, Longfeng, Pengzhou City was reported for exposing the persecution to the staff at the Hunan Disease Control Center. She was arrested by officers from the Guankou Police Station at around 11:00 a.m. on June 4, 2008. Her computer and printer were confiscated.
23. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Jin Zhangxiu Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Jin Zhangxiu was arrested on May 17 and is being detained at the "854" factory.
24. [Chongqing City] Ms. Si Zhimin Held at Shabao Women's Forced Labor Camp
25. [Urumqi, Xinjiang] Ms. Zou Arrested by Three Plainclothes Police
At around 10:40 a.m. on May 28, three plainclothes police arrested Ms. Zou at the Friendship Hospital of Xibei Road.
26. [Yueyang County, Hunan Province] Mr. Rong Guixin and Ms. Wang Ping Arrested on June 3
27. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Rongjia Arrested by Several Police and Home Ransacked at 10:30 a.m. on June 4
28. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yan Lijie, Ms. Yue Xinying and Mr. Lu Daxin Detained at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp
29. [Nanyue, Hunan Province] Ms. Kuang Changyun Arrested
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Kuang Changyun, 56, is a janitor at the Nanyue Environmental Protection Department. She clarified the truth at a market on the morning of June 4, 2008, and was arrested by members of the local public security bureau and political and judiciary committee.
30. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Zou Danyu Detained
On April 15, the Guangzhou Tianhe District 610 Office arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zou Danyu. She is now being detained at the Tianhe District Detention Center.
31. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Shuqin Arrested and Her Home Ransacked
At 5:20 p.m. on June 3, Harbin City Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cui Shuqin was arrested by officers from the Xiangfang Train Station Police Station of Harbin City. Police ransacked her home that night, confiscating Dafa materials, electronic equipment, a mobile phone, a telephone directory, and other items.
32. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gu Xirong Arrested
On around May 30, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gu Xirong of Luyuan District, Changchun City was arrested from home. Police confiscated a computer and printer from her.
33. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Shuhong Arrested and Taken to Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp on June 4
34. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Shenghong of Dasuhe Village Arrested When Clarifying the Truth on May 14
35. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Duan Yuhua and Mr. Sun Fangui Arrested
On May 24, Yuhong District practitioner Ms. Duan Yuhua and Mr. Sun Fangui were arrested by officer Zhang Yannian of the Masanjia Police Station. Duan Yuhua is being held at the Zaohua Detention Center and Sun Fangui at the Yuliang Detention Center.

36. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Fenjin Forced Labor Camp Detains Mr. Wang Jun Beyond Initial Term
Practitioner Mr. Wang Jun of Baicheng, Jilin Province is 37 years old. He was arrested and taken to the Fenjin Forced Labor Camp on May 9, 2007 for a one-year term. Wang Jun refused to give up Falun Gong, and his term was extended for 15 days. He remains in detention today.
37. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xie Xuepu Arrested
At 2:00 p.m. on June 3, officers from the Shangjieji Police Station broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xie Xuepu. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, VCDs and other personal items. They arrested Xie Xuepu and detained him at the Fujin City Detention Center.
38. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Dianjun and Others Arrested
After 9:00 p.m. on April 27, Chen Xiangjun of the Mishan City 8511 Farm Public Security Bureau led several people to break into the home of practitioner Mr. Yang Dianjun and Ms. Ba Fenglian. They confiscated a computer and several Falun Gong books. They forcibly took the couple to the public security bureau for interrogation.
Later, Chen Xiangjun led this group of policemen to practitioner Ms. Zhang Chengyu's home and broke in. They seized Zhang Chengyu's husband Mr. Liu and took him to the Agricultural Administrative Bureau Detention Center.
39. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ping Dianying Arrested
On June 4, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ping Dianying, 69, of Liaozhong County, Liaoyang City was arrested by policemen Li Wei and others.
40. [Qian'an City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shen Shuping Arrested
On the afternoon of May 26, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Shen Shuping from the Qian'an Steel Corporation was arrested when she was handing out truth-clarification materials at Binhe Village, Qian'an Steel Corporation. Her computer, DVD and Falun Gong books were confiscated by police.
