(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of May 31, 2008, I went to the Flushing Public Library and looked for my fellow practitioners to join them. Outside the library, more than a dozen Chinese people were gathered, having heated conversations about Falun Gong topics. I decided to stay for a while to find out what on earth they were talking about.
Because these Chinese people had been deceived by the Chinese Communist Party propaganda and didn't know the truth about Falun Gong, all of them were denouncing Falun Gong. One short man in the crowd gave a speech. He said that if all of the people around him were supportive and if the surroundings were secure enough, he had the courage to find a chance to beat up Falun Gong practitioners. When he was talking, all of the other Chinese people applauded.
I immediately felt the pressure of the evil field from other dimensions, and I really wished that I could have stepped forward to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to him at that time, but not a single right word came to mind, and I felt a little bit nervous and angry. Shortly after that, a righteous thought appeared, reminding me how magnificent my fellow practitioners on the Chinese mainland are for validating Dafa and how great the mighty virtue of Dafa is.
I then decided to send forth righteous thoughts close to them. Gradually, their heated conversation "cooled down." The short man suddenly turned and asked me, "What's your opinion of Falun Gong?"
I calmed down and said in a lighthearted tone, "I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Here are many people with same point of view as you. Don't you want to surround me and hit me?"
He and other Chinese people around him did not expect me to identify myself as a Falun Gong practitioner. Many of them asked me if I really was a practitioner. I responded that I was. At that time I did not fear being attacked. I truly hoped that more Chinese people would come and talk with me. When they saw the demeanor of a Dafa disciple, the evil thoughts in their minds would disappear.
The short man was very embarrassed, and he told me that he was only venting his emotions. Later, they asked me questions and expressed their feelings about what Falun Gong practitioners did. They talked so much that I barely had a chance to speak, and I stood there smiling, listening to them talk as I sent forth righteous thoughts.
After a while the short man asked me to stay close to him. He and his friend faced me and separated me from the other Chinese people. He said that he worried there might be unreasonable people who would beat me and that he and his friend could protect me. I really felt the protection from Master and the dignity of Dafa.
During that time someone repeatedly pointed at me and said, "You are really brave--you dare to brainwash them in front of so many people." I did not pay any attention to them and they got upset and left. Finally I chatted with some local Chinese people until 12:30 a.m. Unless I had to talk to fellow practitioners on my team, they would not let me go since they wanted to discuss with me.
It's worth noting that the CCP agents and the media under its control always attempt to incite conflict between local Chinese people and Falun Gong practitioners so that they could deceive Chinese people in China. We should not let the evil take advantage of loopholes. What we do should be based on our own, personal situations. From talking to Chinese people in Flushing, I felt that many of them were affected by the emotions incited by the CCP, and because they did not know the truth about Falun Gong, they said and did bad things. However, their attention was drawn to Falun Gong, and it provided us an opportunity to clarify the truth. I truly felt the importance of clarifying the truth face to face.
At the same time, it's rare that so much evil is gathered together, so it's really a chance for us to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions that control everyday people. I used to pay little attention to using supernormal abilities. In the morning on June 1, two Chinese people abused a fellow practitioner who was handing out materials. They pointed at the truth clarification banner and said it was made up. I followed them and sent forth righteous thoughts. Seeing that they were walking toward another banner to say or do something, I shouted in my mind, "Stop it!" They pointed at the banner, took several breaths, and then left silently.
Dafa disciples' unshakable belief in Master and Dafa should not be tested by filthy language. If anything like this happens, Dafa disciples may send forth powerful righteous thoughts and stop the misled people from committing wrongdoing.
I want to once again thank Master for his benevolent salvation!
