1. [Jimen City, Hubei Province] Police Officers Harass Falun Gong Practitioners Using the Olympics as Excuse
In April 2008, people from the 610 Office in Jimen City looked everywhere for Falun Gong practitioners to ask them their attitudes towards the Beijing Olympics in order to find an excuse to persecute them. Police officers from Heifengkou Police Station in Jimen Petroleum-Chemistry Community ordered practitioners to leave their fingerprints and bits of their hair and illegally took their identification cards.
Police officer Yu Huailiang went to practitioner Ms. Zhang Guangjie's home. The police officer tricked her into following him to the police station to pick up her ID. When she arrived at the police station, she was told to leave her fingerprints and a sample of her hair. Ms. Zhang refused and her ID has been held at Heifengkou Police Station since then.

3. [Beijing] Practitioners from Jinkui Company Being Illegally Detained
On March 28, 2008, Ms. Chen Jiaolong and Ms. Su Na from Beijing Jinkui Company, were illegally detained, having been transferred to Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia. Practitioner Mr. Han Ligang has been transferred to Zhengzhou City in Henan Province. Currently no one knows the whereabouts of Mr. Chen Gang, a manager.
4. [Linqu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Arrested at Home
On April 10, practitioner Mr. Wang Famin from Quantou Village, Yeyuan County, was arrested from his home by police officers.
5. [Qishui County, Shandong Province] Ms. Huang Chengmei and Ms. Zhang Yuzhi Arrested
On the morning of April 11, 2008, Ms. Huang Chengmei and Ms. Zhang Yuzhi, both practitioners from Yaozidian, Qishui County, were arrested by police officers from Yaozidian Police Station, and their homes were ransacked. Currently they are being detained at Qishui Detention Center.

6. [Xuchang County, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Gen and Ms. Meilian Arrested by Police Officers
In early April 2008, police officers from Xuchang City Police Bureau broke into the home of Mr. Liu Gen and his wife, Ms. Meilian, in Dengzhuang Town, Xuchang County. They ransacked the home and arrested the two practitioners. Currently no one knows the couple's whereabouts.
7. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Ms. Zhang Ling and Others
On the evening of April 8, 2008, Domestic Security Brigade team leader Li Jinbo and other police officers broke into practitioner Ms. Zhang Ling's home. Ms. Zhang is 40 years old. They confiscated four computers, two printers, and a DVD. They also arrested Zhang Ling, Ms. Li Yun, a 27-year-old, and Mr. Fu Guoqi, who is in his 40s. Currently, three of them are illegally detained at Suizhou City No. 2 Detention Center.

8. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Jinping Arrested Again
Ms. Song Jinping, who is in her 40s, was an employee of Rushan City Fuhao Group. In June 2006, Ms. Song began exposing the persecution, because Mr. Wang Yan, a practitioner, from the same company was arrested. Later she was also arrested and held without due process a detention center. Seven days later, both of them were released.
On April 10, 2008, when Ms. Song was clarifying the truth, she was arrested again. She is now in Rushan Detention Center.
9. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yu, a Teacher, Arrested
On April 9, Ms. Yu, a teacher from Fulaerji District, Qiqihar City, was arrested because she helped to clarify the truth about Falun Gong .
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Male Practitioner Arrested For Handing Out Truth-Clarification Materials
On the morning of April 12, 2008, when a male practitioner from Hafei Automobile Manufacturing Plant was handing out truth-clarification materials in the residential area of the plant, he was reported by someone and beaten. Later he was arrested by people from the local 610 Office.
11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Yongping Detained at Tanghuxun Brainwashing Center
Practitioner Ms. Yang Yongping was arrested and taken to the Tanghuxun Brainwashing Center for nearly a month. Her family is currently not allowed to visit her.
12. [Xushui County, Hebei Province] An Account of the Persecution of Ms. Li Xiuyun
Ms. Li Xiuyun is a resident of Ying Village in Shandong Province. In 2002, she went to a neighboring village to spread the Fa and was reported. She was then arrested by people from her township government. Later she was taken to Caohe Police Station, where she was subjected to cruel torture. As a result, she was unable to walk. She was then taken to Xushui No. 84 Brainwashing Center, where she was held for one month. During that time, she was not allowed to use the bathroom. She was also forced to stand for long periods of time and was severely beaten. She was released only after her family paid 10,000 yuan.
On August 23, 2007, Ms. Li was arrested again and taken to the Domestic Security Brigade affiliated with the police bureau. She was then taken to the Hebei Province No. 1 Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she is currently detained and being tortured.
13. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Tianmin Sentenced to Forced Labor Again
In mid-March 2008, the Naxi District Domestic Security Brigade took practitioner Ms. Tang Tianmin, who is from Naxi District, Luzhou City, to the Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province. She is currently serving an 18-month detention term.
Between August 2004 and September 2006, Ms. Tang was illegally detained at the Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp for two years, where she was subjected to all kinds of cruel torture.
14. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Ms. Wang Meiling and Her Son
On the morning of April 7, 2008, when Ms. Wang Meiling, a 52-year-old resident of Nanfu Village, Wenji Township of Longou City, was clarifying the truth in Qijia Town, she was arrested by agents from the Qijia Township Police Station. Her son, who is not a practitioner, was also arrested at the same time. Both mother and son are currently illegally detained at the Dongzhajiagou Detention Center.
15. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Kuang Dongying Being Persecuted
At 7:00 p.m. on April 12, 2008, Ms. Kuang Dongying was arrested by officers from Huizhou Railway Police Station. Her home was ransacked and seven Dafa books, two portraits of Teacher, and other truth-clarification materials were confiscated. Later she was taken to Huizhou Xiaojinkou Police Station for interrogation. Due to her strong righteous thoughts, she managed to escape.
16. [Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Ludan and Ms. Yang Xiaohan Arrested While Clarifying the Truth
In early March 2008, Ms. Wang Ludan and Ms. Yang Xiaohan were reported to officials when they were clarifying the truth. Both were arrested and taken to Erlonglu School for Young Criminals.
17. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Officials from Hewan Forced Labor Camp Refuse Visits from Mr. Zhang Weijie's Family
On April 9, 2008, when practitioner Mr. Zhang Weijie's family went to visit him in the No. 2 Ward of Hewan Forced Labor Camp, the guards didn't allow them to enter. They even refused to accept the food his family wanted to bring him.
18. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Tang Xiqing Arrested
On April 7, 2008, people from Hebei Forestry Police Bureau knocked on Ms. Tang Xiqing's door. She refused to open up, but police officers broke in through a window and then arrested her. They took her to the local police station and detained her.
19. [Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information on Ms. Niu Xifen and Mr. Sun Shouzhang
On the morning of March 21, 2008, police officers from No. 857 Farm 610 Office broke into the home of Ms. Niu Xifen and Mr. Sun Shouzhang. They confiscated her computer, printer, and other items. They also arrested Ms. Niu, Mr. Sun, and another practitioner. Mr. Sun and the other practitioner were released, but Ms. Niu is still in the Nongken Police Sub-Bureau, Beishan Detention Center.
20. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Yonglian Arrested While Handing Out Truth-Clarifying Materials
On the afternoon of April 11, 2008, Ms. Liu Youlian was arrested while she was handing out truth-clarification materials. Her current whereabouts is unknown.
21. [Lianyunguang City, Jiangsu Province] Many Practitioners Detained
During the 2008 Qingming Festival, Ms. Niu Jinhua, Ms. Geng Yuhua, Ms. Liu Qihui, Ms. Zhang Shang and Ms. Du Xiuju, were on their way to a tourist site to clarify the truth, when they were arrested by plainclothes police officers from the Lianyugang City 610 Office. One practitioner, with strong righteous thoughts, managed to escape. The whereabouts of the others are unknown.

22. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Shulan Sentenced to Forced Labor
At about 7:00 a.m. on February 26, 2008, officials from the Domestic Security Brigade and Yukou Township Police Station in Pinggu District, Beijing, went to Baishanzi Village in Yukou Township to arrest Ms. Zhang Shulan. They confiscated all her Dafa books, Teacher's portraits, and all other Dafa material. On March 1, Ms. Zhang was sentenced to a two-year term at Daxing.
23. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Guo Zhichao Arrested
On the morning of April 9, 2008, police officers from Ningjiang District, Songyuan City, arrested Mr. Guo Zhichao, who is 72 years old. They also confiscated his Dafa books and Teacher's portraits.
24. [Qingyun County, Shandong Province] Ms. Shen Guiying, Ms. Zhang Meilan, and Ms. Zhang Yanhua Arrested
Police officers from Qingyun County Police Bureau and Qingyun Township Police Station arrested Ms. Sheng Guiying and Ms. Zhang Meilan. Then on April 11, they arrested Ms. Zhang Yanhua from Qianqiao Village, Changjia Township, Qingyun County. The practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.
25. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Ma Yuhua
At about 3:00 p.m. on April 8, 2008, Xing Jiangping, head of the Rongcheng City 610 Office, teamed up with police officers from Qingyutan Police Station to break into Ms. Ma Yuhua's home. They confiscated copies of Zhuan Falun and DVD's of the Divine Performing Arts show. They took Ms. Ma to the police station and told her to sign some documents, but she refused. She was released after police officers took 2,000 yuan from her family.
26. [Hebi City, Henan Province] Practitioners Mr. Guan Bingxin and His Wife, Ms. Bi Xin'ai, Were Arrested
On March 20, 2008, the Domestic Security Brigade from Qi County Police Bureau arrested Mr. Guan Bingxin while he was out and his wife, Ms. Bi Xin'ai, while she was at home. Currently they are both illegally detained at the Qi County Detention Center, and no one is allowed to visit them.
27. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Long Xiaoling Taken to a Brainwashing Center
On the morning of March 17, 2008, Ms. Long Xiaoling from Yichang City was taken to Wuhan Brainwashing Center. Her truth-clarification DVDs were also confiscated.
28. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Lin Yousheng and Mr. Chen Jiayu Arrested
At 7:00 p.m. on March 13, 2008, Mr. Lin Yousheng and Mr. Chen Jiayu were arrested by seven to eight people from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Nanning City Xixiangtang Street Police Sub-Bureau, and their home was ransacked. Currently, both Mr. Chen and Mr. Li are being detained in the Nanning City No. 1 Detention Center.
29. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested After Being Reported
On the morning of April 12, 2008, when Ms. Yue Cuihua and Ms. Liang Renzhen from Rongcheng City were clarifying the truth at a market in Datong Township in Rongcheng City, they were reported to the authorities and then arrested. Their homes were also ransacked. Ms. Yue and Ms. Liang are being held Rongcheng City Detention Center.
30. [Guang County, Shandong Province] Three More Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor
On April 10, Mr. Guo Tinglou, Mr. Feng, and an unknown female practitioner were illegally admitted to Zibo and Jinan Forced Labor Camps in Shandong Province.
31. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Tian Baodong Tortured in Anshan City Mingyueshan Forced Labor Camp, Now Unable To Walk
Practitioner Mr. Tian Baoshan, approximately 40 years old, is a resident of Niuzhuan Village, Haicheng City, Liaoning Province. He is currently illegally detained in Anshan City Mingshan Forced Labor Camp. The torture he has been subjected to has left him unable to walk.
