Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Peng Shunying, 50, is a traditional Chinese medical doctor. On the afternoon of April 28, 2008, Liu Jun from the Shuangpai County People's Hospital and officer He from the police department led people to search her home and arrest her.

On the afternoon of May 9, 2008, Mr. Liu Qing from Wujiazhan Town, Fuyu County was arrested at his home by officers of the Wujiazhan Town Police Station. He is being detained in the Fuyu County Detention Center.

On May 8, 2008, Laiyang practitioner Ms. Ma Qingchun, who was held in detention, started a hunger strike to resist the persecution. The next morning, she was transferred to the Laiyang Detention Center.

On May 10, 2008, police from the Huanghua Police Station in Zhucheng City rushed into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Xiuling in Gedekuang Village, Huanghua Town. After searching her home, the police took Ms. Chen away and detained her in the Zhucheng City Detention Center.

On May 5, 2008, officers from the Linquan County Police Department arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Dai Zonglin, Ms. Yu Zhuzhi and Mr. Dai Cungui. Mr. Dai Zonglin's laptop was also taken away.
6. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Partial Information about the Illegal Sentencing of Falun Gong Practitioners
Ms. Zhang Yun, 66, was arrested at her home by officers from the Shenzhou City Police Department and detained in the Shenzhou City Detention Center. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
Mr. Lu Shunli, in his 30s, lives in Yangtai Village, Shenzhou City. In October 2007, he was arrested and detained in the Shenzhou Detention Center. On March 28, 2008, he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
Ms. Zhang Junmei, 45, lives in Dafengying Township, Shenzhou City. On January 3, 2008, she was arrested. On February 26, she was sent to a forced labor camp.
Ms. Li Xiaolan, 51, and Ms. Wang Qinghui, 51, are from Yangtai Village, Shenzhou City. In October 2007, they were arrested and detained in the Shenzhou City Detention Center. On March 28, 2008, they were each sentenced to four years of imprisonment.
Ms. Zhang Zhimei, in her 50s, lives in Shenzhou City. In October 2007, she was arrested and detained in the Shenzhou City Detention Center. On March 28, 2008, she was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment.
Ms. Yang Lifang is about 38 years old and lives in Xi'anzhuang Village, Shenzhou City. On January 3, 2008, she was arrested. On February 26, she was sent to a forced labor camp.
Ms. Wang Xiuqing, in her 40s, lives in Beikou Village, Shenzhou City. On January 3, 2008, she was arrested. On January 26, she was sent to a forced labor camp.
Ms. Bai Rui is about 38 years old and lives in Xi'anzhuang Village, Shenzhou City. She was arrested in 2007. In January 2008, Ms. Bai was sent to a forced labor camp.
7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Song Tingjin and Zuo Gang Arrested
On the morning of May 9, 2008, officers of the Longjiang County Police Department of Qiqihar City and the Harbin Police Department arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Song Tingjin and Mr. Zuo Gang from Daowai District, Harbin City. Their homes were also searched. The police confiscated computers, printers, Dafa books, business materials, money, and other items. Currently, Song Tingjin is being detained in the Longjiang County Detention Center. Zuo Gang's whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Chongqing City] Wang Subi and Mou Qiming Arrested
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Subi, in her 60s, is a retired teacher from the Chongqing No. 18 Middle School. On March 31, 2008, officers of the Jiangbei District Police Department arrested her and sent her to a brainwashing center near to the Longtou Temple Train Station. On April 16, she was transferred to the Jiangbei District Detention Center.
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Mou Qiming, 65, is a senior teacher at the Chongqing No. 18 Middle School. Police officers from the Jiangbei District Police Department took her away from her home and sent her to the Longtou Temple Brainwashing Center.

Police officers from the Xiaoxi Street Police Station and the Gongjing Police Department in Gongjing District, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Peng Jianpin and Mr. Li Daquan. The police also took away computers, Dafa books, and other items.

On the morning of May 8, 2008, police officers from the Dongmaquan Police Station of Wuqing District arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xie Chengying from Dongmaquan while she was clarifying the truth in the Dongmaquan Market.

At 8:00 p.m. on April 28, 2008, police officers from the Foyedong Township Police Station in Lingyuan City rushed into the home of Ms. Zhang Cuijin from Jiujuzhangzi Village and arrested her. When her son tried to stop them from taking her away, the police also arrested him. At the same time, the police took away a tape recorder, pictures of Master and Falun, and other items. 12. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Fang Guilan Arrested and Her Home Searched
Ms. Fang Guilan is a Falun Gong practitioner in the Suizhou City Broadcast Bureau. On March 24, 2008, she was reported by a driver while she was clarifying the truth on a bus. Afterwards, two policemen from the Lishan Police Station arrested her and her home was searched.

In May 2008 officers of the 610 Office and the Qingzhou City Police Department arrested Ms. Dong Guiyun and three other practitioners from Koubu Town and sent them to a detention center.

Mr. Li Hongxi, in his 60s, lives in Xiyuzhuang Village, Ansu Town, Xushui County. At 10:00 p.m. on May 7, 2008, he was arrested. He is being detained in the Xushui County Detention Center.

On May 8, 2008, Xining Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Jia Guohong was arrested while she was driving a taxi. The next morning, the police searched her home and took away the taxi, a bankbook, and other items.
16. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Nine Practitioners Including He Yaping Detained in the Longhua County Detention Center
Nine Falun Gong practitioners from Longhua County were arrested, including Ms. He Yaping, Ms. Song Huizhen, Ms. Zhang Lihua, Ms. Yan Yan, Ms. Hao Yujie and Ms. Sui Guirong. They are currently detained in the Longhua County Detention Center.
17. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Liu Huaxiang and Yu Xiuzhen Arrested
At 10:00 a.m. on May 9, 2008, Nanchong Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Yu Xiuzhen and Mr. Liu Huaxiang were watching a video of Master's Fa-lectures at Mr. Liu's home. They were reported and then arrested by police from the Beicheng Police Station and the National Security Bureau. The police also illegally searched their homes.

On May 9, 2008, officers of the 610 Office, the police department and the National Security Team of Dazhou City arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Wang Jingzhou and Mr. He Chengyu at their homes. They are being detained in the Dazhou City Brainwashing Center.
19. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Additional Information about Arrested Falun Gong Practitioners
Mr. Zhao Shengju is a Falun Gong practitioner in Jiuzhai Township, Mengyin County. His wife was released after being fined 6,000 yuan by the Jiuzhai Township 610 Office.
On April 28, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Ma Fumin, Mr. Xu Zhidong and Mr. Yang Xingcai from Jiuzai Township, Mengyin County, were sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Ma Fumin will be detained there for two years; Xu Zhidong and Yang Xingcai will be detained there for one year.
On April 30, 2008, Mr. Ju Xinglian from Yinjiawa Village was released after being fined 10,000 yuan.
Mr. Song Zengrong was detained in the Mengyin Detention Center after being arrested. On April 28, 2008, he was released after being fined 2,000 yuan.

On May 9, 2008, the Wuhan City Procurator submitted a warrant against Hubei Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhou Xiaojun. He is being detained in the Wuhan City Second Detention Center.
21. [Hubei Province] Wang Yuchao Tortured to Mental Collapse
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Yuchao was tortured to the point of mental collapse in the Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang. He is now being detained in an iron cage in the prison hospital.
22. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Li Lianrong Detained in the Meihekou City Detention Center
At 10:00 a.m. on May 9. 2008, Zhang Junbao, chief of the Shancheng Town Police Station of Meihekou City, led four or five people to search the home of Ms. Li Liaorong in Shancheng Town, Meihekou City. They took away a satellite receiver and two cases of Dafa books and materials. They also took Ms. Li to the police station. She is currently detained in the Meihekou City Detention Center.

Between May 7 and 9, 2008, officers of the 610 Office, the National Security Team and the local police stations of Hanzhong City arrested many Falun Gong practitioners from Hanzhong City. Currently, it is known that Ms. Zhang Hanyun, Ms. Yang Hua, Ms. Xiao Yanping, Ms. Li Qingmeng, Mr. Cheng Baohan, Ms. Zhang Qing and Ms. Zhao Wenling were arrested. Their homes were also searched. On April 24, Huanren police officers arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Zheng Kuixin, Ms. Lin Guizhi, Mr. Dong Renqing, Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, Ms. Qi Zhenhong, Mr. Wang Dong, Mr. Xu Ming and Ms. Jiang Lei. They also arrested Zheng Kuixin's son and Jiang Lei's son. All arrested Falun Gong practitioners are being detained in the Huanren County Detention Center.
25. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Many Practitioners Arrested
On April 23, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Fei Hongmei, Mr. Fei Hongrong and Ms. Deng Shuhua from Baishishan Town, Jiaohe City were arrested. On the same day, practitioners Ms. Wang Donghong and Ms. Ma from Songjiang Town were also arrested.
26. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Illegally Tried
On the morning of May 9, 2008, Acheng Court opened an illegal session against Acheng Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Ren Zhongde, Mr. Guo Gang, Ms. Wu Yanchun, Mr. Xie Jinde, Ms. Sun Guifang and Ms. Li Yawen. The practitioners had been detained in the Acheng First Detention Center and the Harbin Second Detention Center for more than three months.

Ms. Li Wei is a Falun Gong practitioner in Qinhuangdao Developing District. At around 9:00 a.m. on May 11, 2008, officers of the National Security Team and the Zhujiangdao Police Station harassed her at home. Ms. Li Wei was arrested and her husband and 5-year-old son became homeless to avoid further persecution.

On May 11, 2008, Jinan Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Qiuyu was arrested by police in Zhangqiu City. Afterwards, her home in Jinan City was searched.
29. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Xu Yufeng, Liu and Yue Jinlan Arrested
On April 10, 2008, Nanjing Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xu Yufeng was arrested while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials in a residential area. Later, a dozen policemen from the Baixia District 610 Office, the Baixia District Police Department, and the Guanghua Road Police Station of Baixia District arrested Ms. Liu (a teacher) and Ms. Yue Jinlan. Their homes were also searched. Currently, the three practitioners are detained in the Nanjing City Detention Center.
Yue Jinlan was previously arrested in 2001 and sentenced to five years of imprisonment.

On May 11, 2008, policeman Zhang along with five other policemen from the Zhigou Police Station in Zhucheng City rushed into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Shunlan and arrested her. Her husband escaped by climbing over a wall.

On May 6, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wei Juan was reported when she used paper money with truth-clarifying words written on it in a market to help a charity supporting poor people in Changchun City. She is being detained in the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.
35. [Dechang County, Sichuan Province] Additional Information about Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners
On March 29, 2008, Dechang Falun Gong practitioners Ms. He Chaofen and Ms. Zhou Lianmei were reported to the authorities. The Wuyi Police Station of Dechang County arrested them and now they are being detained in the Dechang Detention Center near Sankeshu.

Ms. Liu Wei, in her 40s, works in the Steel Casting Unit of the Qiqihar Automobile Factory. On April 28, 2008, she was arrested by officers of the Shuguang Police Station. On April 29, 2008, officers of the Shuguang Police Station, the Tiefeng Police Department and the Security Section of the automobile factory arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Kang Chunyan, 32, and Ms. Lang, who work in the Truck Unit. Later on, they searched Kang Chunyan's home and took away a computer, Dafa books, an MP3 player and other materials. The practitioners are being detained in the Qiqihar First Detention Center.

37. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Police Arrest and Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners
On the morning of May 8, 2008, personnel from the police department, the National Security Team and the 610 Office of Xingning City rushed into the homes of Liu Caimao and four other Falun Gong practitioners. They took away five satellite dishes and truth-clarifying materials. The practitioners were sent to the Xingning City Detention Center.

On the night of May 8, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners, including Ms. Zhou Yan, Ms. Song and Mr. Xiaoshitou, were arrested and their homes were searched. All of the practitioners live in the Dafangli Residential Area in Nangang District, Harbin City.

Since April 2008, several Falun Gong practitioners from Songyuan City have been arrested and their homes have been searched. On April 21, 2008, Ms. Teng Xianru fell from the fifth floor during an arrest. On April 26, she was still hospitalized in the General Hospital of Jilin Oil Field. Ms. Teng is on the verge of death.

On January 26, 2008, Qingdao police officers arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Lu Xueqin, Ms. Jing Fengli, Mr. Yin Xingxiao and Mr. Liang Lijun. They are now being detained in the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City.

46. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Li Gu Arrested
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Gu, around 40 years old, works at the Nanchang Steel Corporation. On the night of February, 3, 2008, his home was searched by police and he and his wife were taken away. Mr. Li's wife was released after being detained for 30 days. Mr. Li Gu was tortured by officers of the National Security Team of the Qichenggang Police Department in Nanchang City.
