Whereas, the State of New York is fortunate to have within its midst many outstanding and dedicated organizations who have devoted their time and efforts to their communities and wishes to confer appropriate recognition upon them; and
Whereas, one such organization is Falun Dafa, who is celebrating the World Falun Dafa Day which marks its introduction to the public in 1992 in China; and
Whereas, Falun Dafa is body, mind and spirit practice based on truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. 100 million people worldwide, of various professions, ages, ethnicities and different countries practice it; and
Whereas, Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial boundaries, and unites practitioners from East and West through its universal principles; and therefore be it
Resolved, that as a duly elected Member of the State Assembly of New York, I recognize that in
Falun Dafa
we have an outstanding organization, worthy of the esteem of both the Community and the great State of New York.
