Mr. Tsuruzono Masaaki delivers a letter to the Prime Minister
Mr. Tsuruzono Masaaki delivered the letter to officials in the Cabinet Office at 2:00 p.m. He spoke of the benefits of Falun Gong, the awards and recognition the practice has won from governments and various organizations around the world, the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China and the appalling crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners being carried out in China. Falun Gong practitioners in Japan expressed hope that the Prime Minister will convey the message to Yang Jiechi to immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong. The official who received the letter said he had watched a video about the serious human rights violation against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. He also asked about the current situation of Yoko Kaneko, the wife of a Japanese citizen who was rescued after 18 months of forced labor in China simply for distributing Falun Gong fliers.
After delivering the letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tsuruzono Masaaki and his fellow Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy. Nobody in the Embassy was available to accept the letter, so they put the letter in the mailbox. The letter introduced Falun Gong, exposed the persecution, and talked about the international condemnation of the persecution and the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin and his followers. The letter also requested the immediate release of all imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners in China.
