Tour Guide Mr. Sun: It's a Grand and Spectacular Performance!
Tour Guide Mr. Sun proclaimed the show a grand and spectacular performance, and said it taught him many profound things. He said, "People are supposed to uphold justice. This show displays genuine Chinese culture. I believe that all the stories in the show are true."
Mr. Sun said that he looked forward to watching future performances and added, "I didn't expect to enjoy the performance this much. I understand the messages that the dancers deliver through their beautiful dances. I loved the backdrops and everything. It's a wonderful performance."
Ms. Su Qing from Beijing: The Show is Very Pure
Ms. Su Qing from Beijing said, "In China, we seldom have the opportunity to watch such programs. Most performances in China are commercial. You can hardly find performances with such a pure cultural content."
Su Qing believes that the virtue of loyalty, as displayed in the dance, "Loyalty of Yue Fei," is embedded in the mind of every Chinese person. However, Chinese people seem to intentionally forget about it, or they just don't want to talk about it. Su Qing also commented on the number that touched upon the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. She said that it's hard for her to understand why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would persecute Falun Gong.
Li Fang, a Student from China: Touched and Thrilled by DPA
Mr. Li Fang, a student from China said, "Chinese people of my generation know very little about ancient Chinese culture. I am very glad to have the opportunity to learn about this divine culture from DPA. I have never seen a performance like this before. I have watched shows in China, but none of them was as beautiful. The costumes and backdrops of DPA are all very beautiful. I was really touched and thrilled."
Li Fang said his favorite performance was "The Risen Lotus Flower." He said, "I think the story is very real. I was deeply moved in my heart. I think it's unreasonable for Falun Gong to be persecuted. They [the practitioners] are so kind, however, they are persecuted by the CCP. It's just so unfair!"
Chinese Immigrant to Australia: The Performances Are Integrated Perfectly
Mr. Robert Li immigrated to Australia from China last June. He watched the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular with his wife. He said, "The fan dance is very good. I think the show displays traditional Chinese culture in several ways. It achieves a harmonious overall effect through fans, drums, and chopsticks. It feels good. It's wonderful." "The program flows smoothly and forms a coherent whole. The transitions are perfect."
Regarding the messages the performance delivered, he said, "We should educate the public to treat others with sincerity and benevolence, and to display one's benevolent side. This will benefit both society and the people."
After finishing five shows in Sydney, Divine Performing Arts will continue its tour in Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide.
