(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Chen Yao, 31, graduated from Tongji University in Shanghai. In October 2002, the Wuyuancheng District Court in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, sentenced her to a three-and-a-half-year prison term, to be served at the Zhejiang Province Women's Prison in Hangzhou City.
To protest the inhuman forced brainwashing she was subjected to in prison, Ms. Chen began a hunger strike on January 8, 2008. Almost two months have passed. Ms. Chen Yao is extremely weak and near death.
