(Clearwisdom.net) On March 11, the Divine Performing Arts presented their fourth show in the Concert Hall of National Chung Hsing University. Among the audience were many educators from various schools, including Mr. Lin Wanlai of Mingli Elementary School and his wife, Ms. Wang Qiongci of Fengrong Elementary School in Yunlin County; Mr. Yin Zaitian of Citong High School in Yunlin County; and Ms. Hu Yuyan of Zhunan High School in Miaoli County. After the the show, they all agreed that the Divine Performing Arts has a very rich cultural base.

The audience enjoys the Divine Performing Arts

Principal of Mingli Elementary School: The movements are very elegant and graceful

Lin Wanlai of Mingli Elementary School and his wife, Wang Qiongci, of Fengrong Elementary School, were invited to the show by the parent of a student. Ms. Wang had high praise for the show: "Every program is excellent. The show has diversity and exhibits elements from different nationalities. The music is pure, harmonic, and exciting. It made me feel that such beautiful culture should be preserved."

Mr. Lin Wanlai said that he treasured this rare opportunity: "The movements of the dancers are so elegant. The background, the music, and the colors are all excellent. The show is touching. It is an unusually high level performance."

Principal of Citong High School: The Divine Performing Arts conveyed rich meaning

Mr. Yin Zaitian, the dean of Citong High School, said that he liked the Tang Drums most: "It's moving and attention-getting." He also thought that the historical stories such as "Lady of the Moon" and "The Loyalty of Yue Fei" would be most interesting to students, because they have heard of these stories. He believed that they would be deeply impressed by the stories if they saw them displayed in a dance format.

Mr. Yin talked about the show from the point of view of an elementary school leader. He said, "The Divine Performing Arts conveyed very rich meaning. It used the dance form to express a theme. It would create sympathetic chords in students' hearts. They would feel that it was great, but they may not really know why. As an educator we should teach them when they are young, let them go to more shows of this type. The younger they are when they go, the better they will like the arts when they grow up. I liked the show very much. Currently in Taiwan, our education lacks this type of artistic activity, which passes on the messages of traditional Chinese culture--pure truth and pure compassion. It will benefit students."

Principal of Zhunan High School: The Dancers' Skills Reached Perfection

Ms. Hu Yuyan, principal of Zhunan High School in Miaoli County, had heard of the Divine Performing Arts for a long time and she had been looking forward to seeing the show. She was very touched that evening because the show conveyed the inner meaning of traditional Chinese culture through dance in such a wonderful location and atmosphere: "They let us understand the meaning of 'Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance' through the dance drama on the stage."

Ms. Hu Yuyan, head of Zhunan High School in Miaoli County

Ms. Hu was also touched by the inclusion of many nationalities including Han, Manchu, Mongolia, Tibetan, and Miao: "The dancers' body rhythms and skills are developed so perfectly well. Either moving or staying still, they let the audience feel peace. They gave us a chance to think and to seek the deeper meaning of life. Every dancer's skills reached perfection. And the level of truth, compassion, and beauty they show is earthshaking."

Good for Education and Society

Mr. Lin Wanlai said that the show gave people a real, worthwhile model to follow. "The dances have a positive force."

Ms. Wang Qiongci said, "In modern society, the moral standard is low. Divine Performing Arts gave people an opportunity to think and feel excited. The music is very pure, harmonic, and exciting."

Mr. Yin Zaitian said, "The government does not do enough to promote the arts, and we seldom see this type of show. In our school we have art competitions each year, for example, in music and dance. We hope to establish an art atmosphere starting in the schools."

Ms. Hu Yuyan said, "The deeper meanings which the dances show are very positive for students' education. In most of the schools we do not pay attention to cultivation and we lack education on beauty. It will be a goal we seek."

Good art can touch people's hearts.

Ms. Wang Qiongci said that, although she is not a Falun Gong practitioner, she felt she awakened deep from within her heart. She said, "We should support those who are suffering because of the persecution of Falun Gong. We should do something to support them."
