On the morning of January 11, 2008, several policemen from the Haohan Flag Police Department and the Sijiazi Police Station in Haohan Flag broke into the home of Mr. Bao Shiyu at Laohu Mountain, Sijiazi. The police took away Dafa books and a satellite device. Mr. Bao was taken to the Haohan Flag Police Department. Now he is detained in the Haohan Detention Center. On January 12, his home was illegally searched again.

2. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bo Caifeng's Home Searched and Her Daughter, Cao Yanyan, Arrested and Robbed
On December 30, 2007, personnel from the Chaoyang TV Station, police from the Chaoyang City Police Department and Zhang Hua from the Qidaoquanzi Developing District Police Department broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Bo Caifeng. The police took away a TV, VCD, satellite receiver, etc. from Ms. Bo's home.
The police also arrested her daughter, Ms. Cao Yanyan, who just got married about ten days ago and had came back to visit her mother. Policeman Yang Lei also stole about $8,700 from Ms. Cao's bag, which had been given to her by her relatives in her wedding ceremony. Ms. Cao Yanyan was illegally detained for 15 days. After being released, Ms. Cao Yanyan asked Zhang Hua to return her money. Zhang Hua used all kinds of excuses for not returning her money.

3. [Shangshui County, Henan Province] Mr. Li Wenliang Arrested
At around 10:00 a.m. on January 18, 2008, Wang Weiguo, Chief of the Shangshui County National Security Team, led four policemen to break into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Wenliang. They ransacked the home. Mr. Li Wenliang clarified the truth to them. Wang Weiguo and other policemen grabbed his arms and dragged him into the police vehicle. They also took away a copy of Zhuan Falun, the "Minghui Weekly" and other materials. That afternoon Li Wenliang was sent to the Shangshui County Detention Center.

4. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Information about the Arrest of Ms. Zhou Shuhua
Ms. Zhou Shuhua, about 70 years old, is a retired employee in the Forestry Station of Nanyang City. During the past eight years, she was arrested and detained many times by the Nanyang police. Her home was also searched repeatedly. She was sentenced to five years' imprisonment. Her health became very weak due to the ongoing persecution. After being released in 2007, Ms. Zhou's home was illegally searched again by the Wolong District Police Department. The police took away Master's picture, Dafa books and other materials. Her former employer also called her and went to her home many times to harass her. The forestry station also withheld Ms. Zhou's pension for many years. In January 2008, Zhou Zhuhua was arrested again because she clarified the truth.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Information about the Persecution of Ms. Fu Fengying
At about 3:00 p.m. on October 9, 2007, Shenyang Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Fu Fengying (about 60 years old) and another practitioner with the surname of Zhao went to Dadong District to post truth-clarifying materials. A cadre of the Dadong District government saw them and reported them to the "610 Office". They were arrested and taken to the Dadong Police Station. Later, practitioner Zhao was released and Fu Fengying was sent to the Shenyang City Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin City] Several Practitioners and Their Family Members Arrested
On the evening of January 18, 2008, Hongqiao District Mr. Guo Jindong and Ms. Lao Zhang were taken into custody at home by the police from a local police station in Hongqiao District. Currently, the two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.
At about 8:00 p.m. on the same day, the wife, son, daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law of practitioner Mr. Li Shaochen were taken into custody by the local police. Currently Mr. Li Shaochen has become homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home.
8. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Hongzhen Arrested
On January 17, the police from the Dongshan Police Department in Liaoyuan City arrested Liaoyuan Ms. Wang Hongzhen. She is currently detained in the Liaoyuan Detention Center.
9. [Nanpi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yuying Arrested
At about 8:00 p.m. on January 20, 2008, police from the Nanpi County Police Department arrested Ms. Zhang Yuying because she distributed truth-clarifying materials. At 11:00 p.m. that night, six policemen from the Nanpi County Police Department broke into Ms. Zhang's home and took away an MP3, a DVD player, a telephone, notebook, truth-clarifying materials, some Dafa books, and other items. Later, the police went to Ms. Zhang's daughter's home and took away a computer. Currently, Ms. Zhang Yuying is being detained in the Nanpi Detention Center.

At about 8 :00 a.m. on January 17, 2008, Mr. Sang Ronghui was taken away by the police when he rode out on his bicycle. He was taken to a detention center.
11. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Min Suffered Mental Collapse Due to the Persecution at the Dalian Re-education Center
Since December 27, 2007, Ms. Wang Min from Paotai Town, Wafangdian City, has been detained at the Dalian Re-education Center. Due to the intense persecution, she has suffered a mental collapse and has now been detained separately.

On September 13, 2007, police from the Shenyang City Police Department and National Security Team and the Kangping County Police Department arrested Kangping practitioners Ms. Qi Jingru and Ms. Chen Yuchun. Ms. Qi is being detained in the Shenyang Detention Center and Ms. Chen is in the Kangping Detention Center. Soon the court will open an illegal session against them.

13. [Tianjin City] Ms. Zhang Xuechun Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xuechun lives in Huangjiawa Village, Cuihuangkou, Wuqing District, Tianjin City. Around 8:00 a,m. on January 15, 2008, she was reported by Liu Hequan, head of the Assistant Patrol Team of the Houxiang Police Station, when she was posting truth-clarifying materials on Yangcui Roadway. She was taken to the Houxiang Police Station. At about 9:00 a.m., Wang Xinliang, a policeman from the Houxiang Police Station, led people to ransack her home. Ms. Zhang was transferred to the Wuqing District Detention Center.

14. [Anda City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Fenglin's Home Ransacked
On January 21, 2008, Liu Yingshan and other policemen broke into Ms. Gao Fenglin's home and took away her personal property including a computer. The break-in severely frightened her 70-year-old mother-in-law.
15. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Guilan Arrested
Ms. Xu Guilan is about 60 years old and lives in Songjia Village, Fujia Town, Zhangdian District, Zibo City. On the morning of January 21, 2008, Su Guizhi, a member of the village committee, and two plainclothes policemen arrested Ms. Xu. They also took away Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials.
16. [Shanghai City] On January 14, 2008, Ms. Yao Juying from the Jiuting Area in Shanghai City Was Arrested.
17. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Mr. Jia Daxin and Mr. Jia Yunbu Arrested
Mr. Jia Daxin and Mr. Jia Yunbu are practitioners from Jiaxinzhuang Village, Hemujing Township, Xinji City. When they posted truth-clarifying banners, personnel from the Electricity Administration Center, who did not know the truth about Falun Gong, forcibly took them to the Hemujing Police Station. They are now being detained in the Xinji City Detention Center.
18. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Including Ms. Ju Jing Arrested
On January 14, 2008, three policemen from the National Security Team of the Dongliao County Police Department went to search Ms. Ju Jing's home at Shiyi Village, Shiyi Township and arrested her.
On January 16, 2008, police from the Dongliao County Police Department, the Baiquan Police Bureau, and the Anshu Police Office drove four police vehicles to go harass many practitioners in Huangyang Village. They arrested Ms. Yang Ping and Ms. Zheng. They are being detained in a local detention center.
19. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Information about the Persecution Suffered by Ms. Zhao Yunfeng
Ms. Zhao Yunfeng is over 60 years old and lives in the Jingjing Mine Area of Shijiazhuang City. On December 24, 2007, several policemen from the Jiazhuang Police Department arrested her when she came home after going out to buy shoes. During the course of the arrest, she did not cooperate. Policeman Lu kicked Ms. Zhao and hurt her legs. Some of her hair was pulled out. She was also slapped in the face. The police took Ms. Zhao to the Mine Area Police Department. She was then transferred to a detention center near the North Train Station of Shijiazhuang City. She was not released until ten days later.
20. [Tanghe County, Henan Province] Ms. Dong Chunmei and Ms. Yang Xiangzhen Arrested
At about 9:00 p.m. on January 16, 2008, a deputy director of the Tanghe County Police Department led police officers from the Tongzaipu Township Police Station to break into the home of Ms. Dong Chunmei in Tongzaipu Township. The police arrested Ms. Dong. That same night, practitioner Ms. Yang Xiangzhen was also arrested because she went to Ms. Dong's home to help take care of her children.
21. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Zhenguang; His Wife, Ms. Zhou Ruilan; and Ms. Xu Guiping Arrested.
At midnight on January 20, 2008, Liu Guangzhi from the Yongqing County National Security Team and police from the Yangmazhuang Police Station went to Guotaiying Village, Yangmazhuang Township, and arrested married couple Mr. Zhang Zhenguang and his wife, Ms. Zhou Ruilan. The police also took away Dafa books and materials.
At the same time, the police arrested Ms. Xu Guiping from Dongyangbazhuang Village and took several hundred yuan in cash, which Ms. Xu's father had saved by collecting recyclable waste.
At about 10:00 a.m. on January 21, the police searched the home of Ms. Tian Chun and took away a satellite dish, a printer, a CD burner, and other property.
22. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested.
On the evening of January 20, 2008, four practitioners from Langfang were arrested. Ms. Liu Jinrui and Mr. Zhang Lijun and his wife, Ms. Ma Li, were arrested at home. Zhang Lijun's younger brother, Mr. Zhang Lizhi, was arrested at another place at the same time.
23. [Bazhou, Hebei Province] At about 11:00 a.m. on January 21, 2008, Mr. Zheng Huiwang Was Arrested at Home by the Bazhou 610 Office.

On January 16, 2008, Xinxiang practitioner Ms. Wang Suqin was reported and arrested by the Guandi Police Station in the Xinxiang Developing District. She is being detained in the Xinxiang Detention Center.

Shuangyashan practitioner Ms. Tian Qi's father has been released, but her mother, older sister, and nephew are still being detained.
26. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shen Ying Arrested
At around 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2008, Ms. Shen Ying was arrested near the Yongchang Police Station of Dandong City by the police from that station. At about 7:00 p.m., the police went to search her home. Ms. Shen is now being detained in the Dandong Detention Center.

27. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Wang Jian's Family Had 3,000 Yuan Extorted From Them
On January 8, 2008, the National Security Team and a detention center extorted 3,000 yuan from Wang Jian's family. Only then was Wang Jian, who had been illegally detained for 84 days, allowed to be taken home by his family members.
28. [Liaoning Province] Information about Mr. Hu Zhiming, Who Is Being Detained in Jingzhou Prison
Thirty-six-year-old Mr. Hu Zhiming is a former lieutenant in the Beijing Air Force. He was sentenced to four years imprisonment. In October 2006, he was sent Jingzhou Prison, where he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. It is believed that the prison probably injected him with some with unknown drugs.

On January 18, 2008, Jiaozhou City Court opened a court session against eight practitioners including Ms. Li Shiying, Mr. Zhai Yingqiang, Ms. Wei Xiurong, Ms. Hei Jiang'e, Ms. Song Gui'e, Ms. Zhou Shenghua, Mr. He Kunlin, and Ms. Liu Jinmei.
30. [Chongqing City] Mr. Du Hanwen Arrested
On the afternoon of January 19, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Du Hanwen was arrested by the police. He is now being detained in Liudianzi Detention Center in Daping.
31. [Fu'an City, Fujian Province] Ms. Aying and Practitioner Qiguang Arrested
On the afternoon of January 18, 2008, Shouning practitioner Ms. Aying was arrested at home, and her home was searched. Ms. Aying is being detained in Fu'an Detention Center. Another practitioner named Qiguang is also being detained.
32. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Hao Arrested
Thirty-two-year-old Mr. Li Hao is a practitioner in Shuiguo Lake, Wuchang, Wuhan City. On the evening of January 18, 2008, the police saw him posting truth-clarifying materials in the Technology Building. He was arrested on the spot and taken to Shuiguo Lake Police Station. On the morning of January 19, Mr. Li was transferred to Erzhigou, Dongxi Lake, Wuhan City, where he is being detained for a 15-day term. Currently, Li Hao's wife takes care of a ten-month-old infant and rents an apartment. They have a very hard life.

Mr. Zhou Jianyuan, Mr. Zuo Jiangshan and Ms. Wang Jiafang were arrested in Wuchuan City. At 9:00 a.m. on January 22, 2008, the Wuchuan Court opened a court session against them.
34. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bai Heguo Tortured to Death
On December 19, 2007, those practitioners who were detained in other prisons in Liaoning Province were transferred to Nanguanling Prison of Liaoning Province. Within a week, Ms. Bai Heguo, who was transferred from Huazi Prison in Liaoyang City, was tortured to death.
35. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Nine Practitioners Including Ms. Zhou Xiaohua Arrested
Sixty-nine-year-old Ms. Zhou Xiaohua is a practitioner in Mianyang City. On December 3, 2007, the Mianyang 610 Office and local police arrested her. Also that day, her home was searched. Her current whereabouts is unknown.
