(Clearwisdom.net) On January 30, the Divine Performing Arts company staged their first show of the Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Many in the audience were moved by the pure and graceful show.

Mr. Yao, a retired official from China's national foreign trade sector, drove from Pennsylvania to see the show. He said that the show had very high artistic standards, and what he felt most was that the Chinese people at last have staged a performance that can resist the brainwashing from the performances of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Mr. Yao said that the Chinese New Year Splendor has deep social significance. He said that the show was broadly embraced by the Chinese people in the audience and he believed that the show would have a huge impact in mainland China. He expressed that although news about the show was strictly blocked by the CCP, many people in mainland China know about it, and he firmly believed that the show would spread to mainland China on a much larger scale.

The show is refined and elegant

Mr. Yao said that the Chinese New Year Splendor is refined and elegant, and that CCP-sponsored performances, such as the Spring Festival show, are inferior in comparison. "It [the New Year Splendor] is not only outstanding from an artistic point of view, but it also reflects Chinese history and traditional culture, Chinese virtues and the principles with which to conduct ourselves. For example, we can immediately understand the deep meaning of the individual performances, such as "The Loyalty of Yue Fei," he said.

"The CCP's Spring Festival show is filled with vulgar and hypocritical stuff. It just clowns around and tries to make people laugh. When we get back home, we will forget about it completely."

The show holds social significance, gaining recognition from the Chinese people

Mr. Yao said that the Chinese New Year Splendor touched upon issues of human rights and justice. "For people from mainland China, they may think these are political issues. However, I noticed that many Chinese in the audience enjoyed them. Even though some people only commented about them from the artistic perspective, I believe they all approved of the 'political' content in the show, and they were all very supportive and encouraged such content," he said.

I want to watch it again; while watching the show, I felt inspired

Mr. Yao felt that there was more to the show than could be absorbed in one viewing and he said that he wanted to come back to watch the show again. He said he wanted to find the inspiration that he could only feel in the theater while watching the show.

"All human beings have souls and thoughts; people are not here just to live. The CCP says that human rights are just rights to live, and that is an utterly snobbish brainwashing. The masses of the Chinese people all know this clearly."

One more person that dares to speak out

Mr. Yao has been following the Divine Performing Arts company for the last few years. He said that a few years ago when he saw the show the first time, he was shocked. "For people, especially people like us who came from mainland China, and who had experienced those ruthless political movements such as the 'Anti-rightist Movement' and the 'Culture Revolution', we all know that if the CCP wants to crack down on a group of people, this group would be put down in no time. So when I watched the magnificent show, I was very shocked, and at the same time I felt the unyielding spirit of Falun Gong practitioners. The more they are suppressed, the stronger they have become."

Mr. Yao said that he did not know much about Falun Gong, but based on his understanding of the CCP's tactics in its numerous political struggles, he could tell right from wrong. "The CCP looks strong, but in fact it has a cowardly, vile character. It gets scared whenever it hears a different opinion and it would suppress that opinion. In essence, its persecution of Falun Gong is no different than its various persecutions of the Chinese people at various social strata."

The show has given Mr. Yao tremendous encouragement. "For so many years, even the Chinese people say that the Chinese people are just like a plate of loose sand grains, and they are just interested in protecting themselves. Now I ask myself: Do I dare to step forward and speak out? I want to say loud and clear: China has one more person who dares to speak out," he said.

Re-build social morals and extend the impact of the Chinese New Year Splendor to mainland China

Mr. Yao said that although the CCP tried its uttermost to block the news about the Divine Performing Arts overseas, many people in mainland China know about it. He believes that news about the Divine Performing Arts will spread throughout mainland China on a large scale. "Many mainland Chinese know that the Chinese people overseas are very active, and they also know that many outstanding CCP members crossed over and abandoned the CCP as soon as they went abroad."

Mr. Yao said, "In a normal society, kindness should be the mainstream character. However, in mainland China, on the contrary, the evil CCP takes the lead, bringing danger to the whole society."

Mr. Yao believes the Chinese New Year Splendor by the Divine Performing Arts is very beneficial towards the re-building of social morals and the elevation of thought, and could have a huge impact on the morality of mainland China.

Divine Performing Arts is magnificent, the CCP is powerless in their attempt to interfere

On the issue of the interference from the CCP, Mr. Yao said, "The CCP is most fearful of Divine Performing Arts. This is because Divine Performing Arts tells the truth in society; because they dare to say 'No' to the CCP by way of performing arts; because they have exposed the deception and lies of the CCP and completely revealed the true face of the CCP, and because the show is getting more and more magnificent. The box office rating is amazing, even by the standard of a western free market enterprise."

"The CCP is desperate and has tried to use various underground organizations to obstruct and intimidate people, but it is all in vain. In fact, the CCP depends totally on power and money in their ruling of the country, plus guns and the base means of bribery. They have totally lost political confidence. To date, they dare not to openly debate with Falun Gong, and they turn a deaf ear and blind eye to the accusations from various sectors about their live organ harvesting [of Falun Gong practitioners]," he said.

Mr. Yao also confirmed, "From what I know, the great current of quitting the CCP is truly happening, and this makes the CCP very scared."

At last, we have art performances that resist CCP brainwashing

Mr. Yao said, "In the past, I could not understand why the CCP was so bad and yet the masses of the people still sang its praises. Now I know that actually it is all the CCP's blowing its own horn. They bluff their way around, and even use songs composed during the war against Japan to deceive the people."

Mr. Yao felt strongly after watching the show, "My strongest feeling is that after decades, at last the Chinese people now have performances to resist the brainwashing of the CCP, and at last we have a strong group that dares to say 'No' to the CCP."
