(Clearwisdom.net) When I clarified the truth about Falun Dafa, I usually did so only for Chinese tourists, ignoring Thai citizens altogether. Recently I have gained a new understanding by explaining the facts to Thailand residents. Arriving in Thailand from China, the first problem I faced was the language barrier. In this most important period of rectifying the Fa I was unable to clarify the truth to the Thailand people, but that didn't mean I could simply give up. I had to cultivate myself while doing the three things. Everyone was handing flyers and displaying banners to the Chinese tourists at tourist attractions in Thailand. To help to persuade people to quit the CCP, practitioners also had Thai-language flyers on hand to introduce Falun Dafa while also revealing to compassionate people the horrors of the CCP and its persecution of Falun Gong.
I lived in Thailand with Thai people but didn't understand their language. This made it quite difficult for me to explain the facts. I could only tell a limited number of people "Falun Gong is good." The Chinese embassy officials blackmailed those in the Thai embassy and urged the authorities to help capture Falun Gong practitioners. The Thai police harassed us frequently when we explained the truth. This made me more determined to gain the support of the Thai people.
During the New Year, when the Prince's older sister passed away, people from far and wide and with many different prejudices arrived during the 100-day mourning period to express their condolences. We took this opportunity to clarify the truth to the Thai people. Day in and day out, practitioners stood outside the place of mourning to hand out flyers and clarify the truth about Falun Gong.
At nine o'clock one morning, two truckloads of Thai soldiers were outside the palace. We said hello in Thai and gave them flyers. Some took them, while others did not. In the next truck, hardly anyone was willing to read the flyers. When I looked further inside the truck, I saw an older, more powerful looking soldier, the commander. I greeted him in Thai and gave him a flyer to read. He happily accepted it and read enthusiastically. I reached into my bag and gave him a fact DVD and additional information. He gladly thanked me. Seeing this, the other soldiers reached out to get some flyers as well.
In the afternoon, other practitioners and I went out to hand out more flyers. We handed out many. I felt a sense of achievement with every flyer we handed out, and I sent Master's kindness toward the recipients, showing Thailand and the Thai people the beauty of Dafa.
Practitioner Xiao Qi and I were standing ten meters apart (nearly 100 feet). Nearby, a 40-year-old man was leaning on his motorbike, closely watching us. I thought Xiao Qi already had already given him a flyer. Even after she left, the man on the motorbike didn't. I gave him a flyer, and he accepted it with thank. Right after that a lot of older people arrived. I handed them flyers. Instead of taking them, they gave me dirty looks. I was unable to explain the truth about Dafa to them because I didn't speak Thai. However, the man on the motorbike suddenly spoke to them. Within minutes, all of them were holding flyers and reading them. It suddenly hit me that the man on the motorbike had explained the truth to them for me. More and more people walked past, and the man with the motorbike started explaining again. After his explanation, they all wanted a flyer. Once everyone had left, I gratefully expressed my appreciation to him with the heshi gesture and gave him a DVD in Thai. I thanked him. He took the DVD and rode off on his motorbike.
I saw his kindhearted nature as I watched his silhouette ride off into the distance. I understood profoundly how non-practitioners are waiting for the day they can comprehend the truth. I genuinely felt Master's grandeur in giving me this chance.
