(Clearwisdom.net) Another year has passed. The Chinese New Year of 2008 is approaching. For the past few years, my place of employment has held a New Year Celebration each year. Every team is required to perform one program for the celebration. Last year, I recited a poem with music in the background. The poem was entitled "Spring," which was published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. For the background music, I added added an erhu solo, also called "Spring." I invited one of my colleagues to perform with me. Although I have a very strong accent from my local dialect, my performance had energy from cultivating Falun Dafa; the performance had power. Everyone from my workplace said that my recitation was good.
Before this year's celebration, the head of my team said that we would perform as a small chorus, and we needed to rehearse. He also invited someone to accompany us on the electric keyboard. My team leader chose a folk song, but another song he chose was the evil song called "The Same Song," which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses during brainwashing sessions in which they try to force practitioners to give up Falun Dafa.
I told the team leader, "I'm a Dafa practitioner. I definitely will not perform that evil song on stage. If they insist on singing that song, I will find some excuse and not attend the celebration. The best solution is to change that evil song to another song." However, the team leader would not listen.
These days my righteous thoughts are very strong. Every day I send righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil culture of the CCP and to clear the environment around us. I also asked Teacher to change that song. Miracles happened. Several days later, all the people in our team said that the evil song was too difficult to sing, and the lyrics were too difficult to remember. They all said that the song should be changed. So the song was indeed switched to a folk song as I had wished for.
That night, I happily joined the performance. All the audience members I spoke to said we sang very well.
Because of this event, I deeply felt that as long as Dafa practitioners have strong, righteous thoughts, and we do things based on the Fa, Teacher will help us eliminate the evil factors, making the righteous thoughts of Dafa practitioners come true.
