Ronald has been an educator for many years. As a result of his work in educational exchange projects, he has had chances to learn about different cultures. Ronald said that he has paid particular attention to the Chinese culture. He hopes that he can introduce traditional, pure Chinese culture to his students in the U.S. Today, after watching the performance, he believed that he has, for the first time, seen the essence of traditional Chinese culture.
Ronald commented that this was a very beautiful and world-class performance. He said it was different from the other shows he has watched; it touched his heart even from the very beginning. He appreciated the purity and beauty of the women dancers, the strength and skill of the male dancers, as well as the wonderful aspects of the culture. He said that he liked the dance "Water Sleeves" most. When the curtain rose and the music played, he was immediately drawn in, thinking, "Oh! It is really beautiful!" When the women danced, his said his heart also danced and moved with them. Besides the "Drummers of the Tang Court," he thought the last performance of the evening's show was also really exciting and inspiring. He felt it was really wonderful that they incorporated drums into the dancing and used them to convey such a noble message.
Ronald said that this performance was absolutely professional and that the programs, orchestra, costumes, and dances were all impeccable. He thought Tenor Hong Ming's singing and Qi Xiaochun's Erhu solo performance were extraordinary. He felt very gratified to have been able to watch such an amazing performance in New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
At the end of the interview, Ronald said that he would certainly invite his friends to see the performance. He said that this is a wonderful opportunity that no one should miss.
