Practitioners set up their booth early in the morning and took it down at 11:00 p.m. that night. Some of them passed out informational materials and others taught people the exercises.
A practitioner said that some of the tourists had never heard about Falun Gong, but when they saw the peaceful exercises, they wanted to learn. People were shocked when they learned about the persecution and organ harvesting, and many signed petitions to support the Falun Gong practitioners.
Sophie, who has practiced Falun Gong for 10 years, said: "I taught seven groups today, and dozens of people learned the exercises. An elderly couple said that they felt a strong energy field." "I was touched that so many people came to learn the exercises," said Sophie.
