1. [Kaijiang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Lanying Arrested
At around 10:30 a.m. on September 7, 2008, six officers from the Kaijiang County 610 Office and the county state security and domestic security departments broke into Ms. Wang Lanying's home. Ms. Wang, a retired employee of the Dazhou City Vegetable Company, was taken into custody. The police searched her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, materials, a computer, and television reception equipment. Ms. Wang was taken to the Kaijiang County Detention Center.

2. [Guangxi Autonomous Region] Seven Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center
Between July and August, before the Olympic Games were held in Beijing, the Yuzhou District Political and Judiciary Committee in Yulin City, Guangxi Autonomous Region set up a brainwashing center in the lodge of the local military zone. Seven practitioners were taken there. They were cursed, beaten, and deprived of sleep. The practitioners were Mr. Kong Xiangdong, Mr. Liang Chengmo, Ms. Zhou Hongxiu, Mr. Wei Dongwu, Mr. Gan Yangzhi, Ms. Wei Lianfang, and Mr. Chen Guojin.
3. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Xianying and Two Other Practitioners Arrested
On the evening of October 27, 2008, Ms. Chen Xianying, Ms. Kuang Xiaochun and another practitioner were taken into custody by the Chengxi Police Station in Xindu District. The officers searched the practitioners' homes and took them to the Xindu Detention Center.
4. [Zouping County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao De'ai Arrested
On October 20, 2008, Ms. Zhao De'ai, who lives in Jiaoqiao Town in Zouping County, Shandong Province, was reported to the police. Officers from the Zouping County Security Division and from the Jiaoqiao Town Police Station took her into custody. The officers also searched her home. Ms. Zhao is being held at the Zouping County Detention Center.
5. [Guangxi Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Qiuju Arrested
Ms. Zhang Qiuju, 24, works odd jobs in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. On the evening of October 23, she was arrested.
6. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Ma Xiaoshun and Aunt Zhou Arrested in Guiyang City
On October 19, 2008, Ms. Ma Xiaoshun and aunt Zhou were taken into custody in Huaxi District, Guiyang City. They have been taken to the Zunyi Detention Center.

7. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhou Lujin and Other Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhou Lujin is a practitioner who works at the Jiangxi Provincial Hydrology and Geology Division in Nanchang City. On August 21, 2008, he was turned in to the police while telling others the truth about Falun Gong in a Internet café. He was taken into custody by officers from the Xiang'an District Police Department in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Ms. Zhou is being held at the Tong'an Detention Center in Xiamen City.
On October 18, 2008, Ms. Lu Linxiang and Ms. Wu Zhiping, from the Luojia area in Nanchang City, were arrested by officers from the Qingyunpu Police Station while they were telling others about the facts of the persecution near the Baojia Garden. The two practitioners are being held at the Nanchang No. 1 Detention Center.
8. [Tai'an County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Guo Yongxue and Other Practitioners Arrested
On the evening of October 28, 2008, officers from the Tai'an County Police Department arrested Mr. Guo Yongxue, Ms. Wang Yingjie, Ms. Fu Yufang, and Ms. Gao Xia. The police also searched the practitioners' homes.
9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Yuanying Arrested by Officers from Penghou Street Police Station
At around 9:00 p.m. on October 28, 2008, officers from the Penghou Street Police Station in Qiaodong District broke into the Jinxiu Photo Store on Yuanbei Road in Qiaodong District, Shijiazhuang City. The police arrested Ms. Ma Yuanying, who owns the photo store. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials. Ms. Ma is being held at the Penghou Street Police Station.

10. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fu Yufang Arrested
On the morning of October 29, 2008, Ms. Fu Yufang, in her sixties, was taken into custody at her home by local police officers. The police searched her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books.
11. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hu Ying in Extremely Weak Condition
On October 29, Ms. Hu Ying was held in custody at the Diaobingshan City People's Hospital by two police officers who carried electric batons. Ms. Hu fell down onto the floor after taking just a few steps. She is in an extremely weak condition.
12. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Zhiru Arrested
At around 11:00 a.m. on October 29, 2008, Ms. Ma Zhiru was distributing truth clarification materials in a residential complex in the Yingqiaodong area. Security guards in the complex spotted her and called 110 emergency response police, who arrived to arrest Ms. Ma.
13. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Mr. Tang Moqiu Arrested
On October 27, 2008, Mr. Tang Moqiu, who lives in Sanbao Township in Nong'an County, was taken into custody by the county police. Mr. Tang is being held at a local detention center.
14. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Song Zhiyu Detained
Mr. Song Zhiyu, from Qinghuangdao City, Hebei Province, works odd jobs in Beijing. At around 8:00 p.m. on September 11, 2008, officers from the Changping District Police Station, the Changping District Police Department and the 610 Office arrested him. The police searched his home. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Dafa books. Mr. Song is being held at the Shaheliu Village Detention Center in Changping District.

On October 13, the Yutian County Court held secret trials for Ms. Dou Suqin, Ms. Liu Guijuan and Ms. Zhang Shuwen from Fengrun District, Tangshan City. The three practitioners are being held at the Yutian Detention Center.
17. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Si Wenxia Arrested
At around 6:00 p.m. on October 27, 2008, Ms. Si Wenxia was reported to the authorities while she was distributing truth clarification materials at the village committee of Nanxiaofang Village, Tangjia Township, Panjin City. Officers from the Xinjian Police Station subsequently took her into custody and searched her home. Ms. Si is being held at the police station.

18. [Xupu County, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhang Shuiqing Held in Detention Center
On the morning of October 27, 2008, Mr. Zhang Shuiqing, a practitioner from Xupu County in his sixties, went to distribute leaflets in the countryside. He was reported to the police while giving leaflets to others on a bus. Mr. Zhang is being held at the county detention center.
19. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yu Naiming's Family Denied Visits to Him in Labor Camp
In late September 2008, Mr. Yu Naiming was transferred to the Weiningying Forced Labor Camp in Benxi City. The labor camp authorities have denied his family their right to visit him, as he has refused to be "transformed."
20. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Deng Hui Arrested
At 5:00 p.m. on October 29, 2008, Mr. Deng Hui was arrested by the Meilin Customs House in Shenzhen City. Mr. Deng was taken to the Meilin Detention Center.
