(Clearwisdom.net) In 2000 I went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. Because I stated the truth-- "Falun Gong is truly good"--I was sentenced to one year of forced labor and taken to Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City. Because we did not capitulate or cooperate with the authorities, we were severely tortured. Some of us were deprived of sleep for the whole night; some were handcuffed and forced to stand on their tip-toes, causing their hands to bleed; some passed out from being handcuffed; some were put in solitary confinement, and some were forbidden to use the toilet.
Some practitioners went on hunger strikes to protest. The police got four to five people to hold one practitioner down and force food into her mouth with a thick bamboo tube while pinching her nose shut. Practitioner Ms. Zuo Shuchun with the People's Bus Company in Changsha City was killed as a result of this type of force-feeding in March 2003.
I was sentenced to one year of forced labor, and my term was extended for another year afterwards, so I served a total of two years. A month after my release, I was arrested and imprisoned in the local brainwashing center. Because I would not "transform", they took me to Baimalong Forced Labor Camp again.
This time they treated me even more cruelly. They prevented me from sleeping and hit me as soon as closed my eyes. I was tortured until I became thin like a skeleton. Some practitioners were tortured until they became mentally disordered. Others were forced to squat for prolonged periods of time and their rectums became horribly damaged. Still others were forced to stand and were deprived of sleep for over ten days, causing their their feet and stomachs to swell terribly. The police coerced drug addict inmates to torture practitioners. Addict Wang Fang (female) once slapped Ms. Yang Jusheng, a 68-year-old practitioner from Loudi City, Hunan Province, more than 90 times. Practitioner Ms. Hu Qingxi, in her 60s, was persecuted to death in Baimalong Labor Camp. This time I was held there for two years.
In November 2007, several practitioners and I told people the facts about Falun Gong on a bus and were reported to the authorities. After being detained in jail for 12 days, I was taken to Baimalong Forced Labor Camp for the third time.
This time I was only allowed to have my meals in the restroom. Sometimes I was forced to sit still on a small bench for over ten hours with another practitioner sitting back to back, no head turning or talking, thus not knowing who the other party was. Later the police locked me in a room where drug addicts could come whenever they felt like it to hit or berate me. Once I told Guard Peng Jingwen that a drug addict hit me. Peng asked if I was injured, meaning that it did not count if I did not bleed.
I went on a hunger strike to protest. They took me to the drug rehabilitation building that housed the intensive-training team, which was dismantled whenever outside inspectors came. When I first got to the intensive-training team, four or five drug addicts crowded around and hit me. Weak from being without food and water for several days, I was knocked to the ground immediately. One day I was forced to stand for over ten hours. Another day I passed out while being forced to stand. When the guards and the inmates force-fed practitioners, they used a spoon to pry open the practitioners' mouths, then force-fed them. They broke my teeth during their force-feeding.
Finally, after I had been tortured to the brink of death, Baimalong Forced Labor Camp authorities released me to avoid being held responsible if I died. All of my friends and relatives wanted to cry when they saw the miserable condition I was in.
