The persecution of Ms. Zhou Dingying and her husband from Yuechi County
Ms. Zhou Dingying is a Falun Gong practitioner from Fulong Town, Yuechi County, Guang'an. Her husband, Mr. Qu Zhenwu, is also a practitioner. After the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, police officers Liu Daoming and Liu Wei from Fulong Town Police Station and others that didn't know the truth often harassed them and tried to force them to give up cultivation.
On February 10, 2004, Yuechi County officials illegally arrested Ms. Zhou. The police interrogated her using torture and forced a false confession from her. After being beaten, she was imprisoned in Yuechi Lockup. They also wanted to arrest her husband, Mr. Qu, so he was compelled to be destitute and homeless. Ms. Zhou was sentenced to forced labor for two years and taken to Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in the Zizhong County, Sichuan Province. She was tortured inhumanly for two years.
Ms. Jia Guihua and her family in Hechuan County, Chongqing, Persecuted
Ms. Jia Guihua, over 50 years old, lives in Shilong Town, Hechuan County, Chongqing. Ms. Jia began to practice Falun Gong in 1996. She was healthy in body and mind. Her husband, Mr. Liu, and her two daughters also entered the door of cultivation. After July 20, 1999, officers from Shilong Town Police Station harassed them endlessly.
On December 30, 2001, Yuechi County officials rushed into Ms. Jia's home, arrested the couple, and took them to the Yuechi County 610 Office to interrogate them. Then they put the couple in the Yuechi County Lockup to torture them. The police informed the high school to dismiss their two daughters. Ms. Jia and her husband were imprisoned for three months.
