Officers from the Chaigoupu Town Police Station broke into Ms. Li Chunlian's home on the afternoon of June 23, 2008, when several practitioners were there. The police ransacked the place. Huai'an Court agents planned to sentence Ms. Li a few days later.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Personnel from the Jiangbei Township Police Station Arrest Ms. Jiang Fen
Personnel from the Jiangbei Township Police Station arrested 60-year-old Ms. Jiang Fen from Jiuzuo Village, Jinzhu Township, in the Longtan District of Jilin City on August 8, 2008. Ms. Jiang had been sentenced to three years of forced labor starting in 2001. Police harassed her many times before the Olympic Games.
3. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Li Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
Ms. Wang Li from Suizhou City was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2001 and is still in the Baofeng Street No.1 Women's Prison in Wuhan City. Ms. Wang's term will expire on January 4, 2009. Her husband, Mr. Gong Huatao, has been sentenced to eight years in prison and is in Shayang Fanjiatai Prison. One of his legs is paralyzed.
4. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Guoyao Arrested
Officer Chen Hong and others from the Tangshan City Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Liu Guoyao on the morning of July 10, 2008. Mr. Liu is in the city's No.1 Detention Center. Officer Zhang Shuli from the Lubei District People's "Prosecutorate" submitted Mr. Liu's case to the district court on September 25, 2008.
5. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Zelan, Ms. Fang Wenxiu, and Ms. Qin Xiuzhen Arrested
Police in Zhucheng City arrested three practitioners at noon on October 10, 2008. They were 53-year-old Ms. Zhang Zelan from the Mizhou Street Community, 70-year-old Ms. Fang Wenxiu from the Dahua Community, and 40-year-old Ms. Qin Xiuzhen. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated some items.

Police arrested Mr. Jiang Shisheng from Yang Village, Huanghua Town, Zhucheng City on October 10, 2008. They took him to the city detention center.

Seven practitioners including Ms. Jin Meihua from Hangzhou City were sentenced in the Fuyang City Court on October 14, 2008.

Jiang'an District 610 Office head Hu Shaobin and his chauffeur, Deng Qihe, recently beat Mr. Lu Jin in the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center in the Jiang'an District, Wuhan City.

10. [Minquan County, Henan Province] The Persecution of Ms. Su Yunxian and Her Family
Ms. Su Yunxian, in her 60s, did not live at h ome during the Olympic Games to avoid harassment. Minquan County Domestic Security Division chief Du Yuanming harassed Ms. Su's two sons and one daughter. The police forced them to find their mother; otherwise, they could not work.
11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gao Xijiang Persecuted
Police officers from the Daqing City Domestic Security Division ransacked Mr. Gao Xijiang's home on August 27, 2008. Mr. Gao is an employee from the Down-hole Operation Company in Heilongjiang Province. Officers arrested Mr. Gao and his wife and held Mr. Gao for 15 days. They also fined him 1,000 yuan. Personnel from the company's Discipline Inspection Office investigated Mr. Gao later and planned to aggravate the persecution.

12. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Jinmei Arrested Again
Personnel from the 610 Office recently arrested Ms. Liu Jinmei from Taizishang Village, Dayanjia Township. Ms. Liu is still in the Haiyang Detention Center. She has been arrested and fined several times.
13. [Haihekou City, Jilin Province] Repeated Arrests of Mr. Gai Yongguang
Mr. Gai Yongguang from Hongmei Town, Meihekou City, was arrested again on the morning of October 13, 2008.
Hongmei Town Police Station chief Shao Zhuang and ten other officers broke into the home of Mr. Gai and his wife, Ms. Wang Xiujuan, when the two were not there. At 3:00 p.m. on April 24, 2008, the officers confiscated three laptop computers, three printers, two mimeograph machiness, a satellite dish, 500 yuan cash, and other items worth over 10,000 yuan. The couple has since lived in away from home.
Mr. Gai and Ms. Wang had been held in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp and the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun, respectively. Their middle school-aged son had to live on his own and eventually stopped attending school.

Ms. Wang Qiaohui, a former doctor at Qishi Hospital, has gone missing more than 40 days. We suspect she has been arrested.

Mr. Pan Huimin was arrested in early October 2008 for explaining the truth about Falun Gong on the Internet. He is in the Aohan City Detention Center.
18. [Hebei Province] The Persecution of Practitioners in Wuqiao County
Mr. Wu Fuhe from Beixuwang Village, Liangji Township, Wuqiao County, is being held in the county detention center. Mr. Li Wanqing from Nanxuwang Village, Yuji Town, has been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor in Handan City. Mr. Shao Jinquan and Ms. Dong Shuxin were released in early September 2008.

20. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor
Beihu District Court agents held a trial for Mr. Lei Anxiang at 3:50 p.m. on September 3, 2008, and trials for Mr. Liao Songlin and his son, Mr. Liao Zhijun, at 3:50 p.m. on September 22, 2008. The judge did not announce the verdict after the trials, but it was heard recently that Mr. Liao Songlin, Mr. Liao Zhijun, and Mr. Lei Anxiang were sentenced to four, three and a half, and three years in prison, respectively.
Three practitioners were taken to Baimalong Forced Labor Camp August 3 and August 7, 2008. They were Ms. Shi Jun'e from Yongxing County, Mr. Li Hualin from Anren County, and Ms. Zhou Xiaohong, an employee from the city's geography division.
