A group of officials led by village Party Secretary Liu Fang broke into
practitioner Ms. Zhai Yuemei's home at 9:00 p.m. on July 23, 2007 and ransacked
it. They took away Falun Gong books and related materials. Huang Chuzhong and Tu
Guoliang, heads of the Caishan Town 610 Office in Huangmei County,
Hubei Province, and four officers from the Caishan Town Police Department,
including Hu Zhenggang and Qian, participated.
The same group of four officers ransacked practitioner Mr. Lan Jisheng's home in
Lanqiao Village at 10 a.m. and took personal belongings worth more than 500
yuan.
They subsequently went to the homes of practitioners Mr. Mei Zanhuang, Mr.
Zhange Zefeng, Mr. Zhang Yonggang, Mr. Mei Xueyu, and Mr. Mei Qi. They took Dafa
books and tore up fliers and also threatened the practitioners.
Many practitioners who live near the neighboring Longgan Lake Farm were harassed
and interrogated in their homes around July 23.
