Practitioners Ms. Huang Chun and Ms. Xiang Shen are residents of Chenshi Township, Shenzhou City. On the evening of July 30, 2007, they visited Huang Wenju (male, director of Chenshi Township Judiciary Office) in Baishu Village of Chenshi Township and tried to clarify the truth to him. Instead of listening to the facts, Huang Wenju arrested them. The two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown. Huang Wenju ordered and participated in searching practitioners' homes and arresting practitioners many times.

Around July 29, 2007, eight Falun Dafa practitioners, including Mr. Zhang Jianhua and Ms. Wang Huijuan, were arrested by the Qinghe Police Station in Haidian District. The police searched their homes and seized Falun Dafa books, computers, discs, and MP3 players. The practitioners are detained in the Haidian District Detention Center.

8. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lu Xiaohua Imprisoned in the Shayang Forced Labor Camp

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Xiaohua, resident of Chibi City, was arrested on June 11, 2007. Recently, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is being detained in the Shayang Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Haitang was sentenced to one year of forced labor by the 610 Office of Bohai Petroleum Corp. on July 27, 2006. She has been imprisoned in the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin City since then. Her sentence was completed on July 27, 2007. The Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp denied release to Ms. Xu's family on the grounds that Ms. Xu did not give up her belief.

Forty-seven-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Dai Mingrong lives in Hexin Village, Maoxing Town, Zhaoyuan County. She was arrested while she was posting Falun Dafa materials in the Nanhu Aquatic Farm in Maoxing Town on the night of July 24, 2007. Three police officers slapped Ms. Dai in turn during the interrogation. Four police officers from the farm and officer Liu Tao (male) from the Maoxing Towm Police Station searched Ms. Dai's home, broke the cabinet lock, and seized 16 Falun Dafa books and other printouts at around 9 a.m. on July 25, 2007.

Ms. Dai Mingrong escaped. She cannot go back home to take care her mother, who is in her seventies, and her younger brother, who cannot take care of himself. Her five-acre farm is not being taken care of. Her son, who is on summer vacation from college, cannot see his mother.

At around 9 p.m. on July 29, 2007, practitioners and residents of Fengrun District, Tangshan City Ms. Li Chenghua, her 12-year-old daughter Liu Xiujuan, and her 9-year-old daughter were arrested in the Seventh Plot by the Xingfudao Police Station of the Xinyan Police Department in Fengrun District. Police searched their homes at midnight. The practitioners were released on July 30, 2007.

13. [Huidong County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wen Yuequn and Ms. Wu Sanmei Sentenced to Imprisonment

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wen Yuequn is about 52 years old and a resident of Huidong County. She was an employee of the Huidong County Second Cement Factory. Since the persecution started, Ms. Wen has been arrested and brainwashed several times by the Huidong County 610 Office. Her home was searched and her property was confiscated. Her last arrest was on December 9, 2006, when she was distributing flyers in Andun Town, Huidong County. She was arrested by the manager of the Second Cement Factory Wang Jianchun (male) and police officers from the Daling Police Station. On July 20, 2007, the Huidong County Court sentenced Ms. Wen to five years in prison. Ms. Wen is appealing against her convictions. She is imprisoned in the Huidong County Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wu Sanmei is in her thirties and a resident of Duozhu Town, Huidong County. On July 16, 2007, she was arrested while distributing Falun Dafa fliers in Baipenzhu Town, Huidong County. She is imprisoned in the Huidong County Detention Center.

On the afternoon of July 28, 2007, seven police officers broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Du Yulan's home in Tangshan City. At around 1 p.m. on August 1, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner and resident of Shuangcheng City Ms. Fan Shuqing was arrested when she was inquiring about the arrest of another practitioner, Ms. Liu Yang, and delivering an open letter urging officers to be kind to practitioners in the Xinyijie Police Station of the Daowai Police Department in Harbin City. Ms. Liu Yang was arrested by the Xinyijie Police Station on July 2, 2007. Ms. Liu is detained in the Guxiang Detention Center. No family members have not been allowed to visit.

Falun Dafa practitioner and resident of Binzhou City Mr. Feng Zhentang and other practitioners were arrested on March 1, 2007. Mr. Feng will be on trial at around 9 a.m. on August 3, 2007.

20. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Harassed By Police

At around 6:30 p.m. on August 1, 2007, a practitioner noticed half a dozen cars, including police vehicles, parked in front of practitioner Ms. Li's door. The practitioner called Ms. Li's home later, but no one answered the phone.

21. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Supplementary Information Regarding Mr. Jiang Weijie's Arrest

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Weijie is a middle school teacher and resident of Cangshi Town, Qingyuan County. He was arrested from home by the Cangshi Town Police Station at around 11 a.m. on July 30, 2007. He was beaten by the police and taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City. He was detained in the Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp twice: on January 8, 2002 and in April 2005.

22. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Ding Lining Arrested

On the evening of July 19, 2007, several police officers tricked Ms. Ding Lining's family into opening the door to their home. They arrested Ms. Ding and confiscated her family's computer and printer.

23. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Recently, several practitioners in Cangzhou City were harassed. On July 25, 2007, the police went to the residential area of Thirteen Huajian Corporation and harassed four practitioners. They broke into and ransacked practitioners' homes and confiscated Master's pictures. On July 31, 2007, they came back, harassed three practitioners, and arrested elderly practitioner Ms. Han.

At around 6 p.m. on July 31, 2007, police from the State Security Division arrested practitioner Han from Xinhua District, Cangzhou City. It was reported that several practitioners living in the Shuiyue Temple area were harassed as well.

24. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Sun Shuying and Many Other Practitioners Arrested from Their Homes

In the afternoon of August 1, 2007, police from Gushan Town Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Sun Shuying, Mr. Pan Changxin, and twelve other practitioners at their homes in Gushan Town, Donggang City.

25. [Suining County, Jiangsu Province] Practitioner Mr. Ni Peng and Mr. Tong Dejun Arrested

On July 18, 2007, the Director of Suining County State Security Division Li Jun led several police officers and came to the shop where Mr. Ni Peng worked. They arrested Mr. Ni and took him to the First Boarding Facilities of Suining County. Mr. Ning's hands and feet were tied to an iron chair. He was not allowed to sleep. Mr. Ning has been detained there for twelve days, and police refuse to release him.

At around 8 p.m. on July 22, 2007, police from the Suining County State Security Division also broke into Mr. Tong Dejun's home and arrested him. They confiscated his MP3 player and some other personal belongings.

28. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Sun Surong Arrested

At around 10 p.m. on July 25, 2007, six police officers from the Paoya Police Station in Dalian City went to Ms. Sun Surong's home in Ganjinzi District, Dalian City. They lied and said that they came to inspect the sewer system and tricked Ms. Sun's family into opening the door. Then, they ransacked the house and confiscated Dafa books and materials. They arrested Ms. Sun. On the second day, Ms. Sun's son went to the police station to request his mother's release, but police didn't let him see Ms. Sun. They also told him that Ms. Sun would be sent to the detention center.

29. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Meng Xianghua and Another Practitioner Arrested

On the afternoon of July 30, 2007, police from the Pingquan Police Station arrested Ms. Meng Xianghua and another practitioner while they were clarifying the truth. At around 8 p.m. the same day, seven police officers took Ms. Meng's keys and came to her home. They opened Ms. Meng's door while Ms. Meng's family members were at home. They confiscated a computer, four MP4 players, and Dafa books and materials. Ms. Meng's family members tried to stop them, but one of the police officers threatened to beat them.

30. [Beijing] Police Arrest Ms. Gai Shuying in Her Home and Ransack It

Ms. Gai Shuying, in her sixties, is a practitioner from Ximazhuang Neighborhood in Tongzhou District. At around 5 p.m. on July 29, 2007, the police arrested Ms. Gai at her home and ransacked her home. They even arrested her child and a visiting relative. To this day, Ms. Gai's whereabouts are unknown, and the police who came to arrest Ms. Gai didn't tell her family which police station or department they were from.

The Haidian District Police Department had arrested Ms. Gai once before, and she was detained for more than a month.

Ms. Liu Fengxiang, in her fifties, is a practitioner from Raolefu Village, Fangshan District, Beijing. At around 11 a.m. on July 24, 2007, three police officers broke into her home. They arrested her and ransacked her home. Currently, Ms. Liu is detained in the brainwashing center in Fangshan District.

Ms. Chen Cuizhen, 55 years old, is a retiree of the Wei River Electric Factory in Shaanxi Province. Recently, Ms. Cui was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. Ms. Chen had been sentenced to forced labor twice before she retired.

Ms. Huang Lijuan is a practitioner from Jilin City, Jilin Province. On the morning of July 29, 2007, the officials from Jilin City 610 Office arrested Ms. Huang at the Fengman Street bus station in Jilin City. Currently, Ms. Huang is detained in the Xiaobaishan Detention Center.

Among the practitioners who were recently arrested, four of them were sent to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. They are Mr. Yan Wencheng, who was sentenced to three years of forced labor; Mr. Li Yuzhang, Mr. Zhou Guiseng, and Mr. Zhao Lanyi, who was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Mr. Huo Xiliang is a practitioner from Liangyungang City. When Mr. Huo was injured in a traffic accident, police from Lianyungang City Police Department and Lianyungang City 610 Office arrested him. They sent him to the hospital for treatment but didn't allow his family members to visit him.

In July 2007, police from the Lianyungang City Police Department and Lianyungang City 610 Office also arrested Ms. Gao Jianjun and practitioner Li.

38. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhou Ximei Arrested

On July 26, 2007, a new practitioner was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials in a shopping center in Maiji District of Tianshui City. Two days later, Ms. Zhou Ximei, a retiree of the Yonghong Factory, was also arrested. The new practitioner has been released.

On July 30, 2007, the police arrested practitioner Xu in Xishui County, Hubei Province. Practitioner Xu is detained in the Xishui County First Detention Center. The following practitioners are being detained in the Xishui County First Detention Center: Mr. Li Zhengwen, Mr. Yang Yunhua, Ms. Zhou Qi and her husband Mr. Guo Zhunliu, Ms. Yang Shufen, and practitioner Fan (given name unknown).

40. [Qi County, Hebei Province] On July 28, 2007, Practitioner Mr. Li Weimin was Arrested in Hengshui City, Hebei Province.

41. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Tortured in the Harbin City Women's Prison

For a long time, the officials of the Harbin City Women's Prison ordered inmates to persecute practitioners. They also set up the First Division and Thirteenth Division especially to "transform" practitioners. They rewarded inmates to encourage them to "transform" practitioners. Eight or nine inmates dealt with one practitioner. Since practitioner Ms. Zhao Li and Ms. Zhou Fengli refused to renounce Falun Gong, inmate Xu (last name) beat them brutally until they lost consciousness. When they woke up, they suffered incontinence. To protest the long-term torture, Ms. Li Yushu, 58 years old, started a hunger strike. Ms. Li is very thin and weak, and her life is in danger.

Around midnight on June 1, 2007, while Ms. Wu was working her night shift, two managers from the Taijinbao Corporation took her to the police station with the excuse that police told them that Ms. Wu surfed "illegal websites." The next day, Ms. Wu was sent to the Wujiang City Detention Center.
