1. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Yue Peng Among Others Arrested--Updated News
On July 20, 2007, 12:40 p.m., 5 to 6 police officers from Lianshan Public Security sub-bureau's National Security brigade broke open the iron gates to the house of Mr. Yue Yunlin and arrested him. They ransacked his home, and stole his notebook computer, a cell phone, an MP3 player, a laser printer, 8 cases of paper, 9 bottles of ink, 6 copies of Zhuan Falun, 5 books of Teacher Li's lectures, and Teacher Li's picture. The value totaled about 7000 yuan. Before this, they arrested practitioner Mr. Yue Peng, Mr. Zhang Zhanan, and Ms. Li Xiuzhen.
Currently, Mr. Yue Peng and Mr. Zhang Zhanan are being illegally held in the Huludao City Detention Center. Ms. Li Xiuzhen, due to torture-induced health problems, was released on 2,000 "yuan" bail, pending trial.

Between April and May, 2007, Mr. Wang Yufeng, a Jiansanjiang City practitioner, who had already spent 4 years in detention, was again arrested by members of the "610 Office' from Jiansanjiang's Qianshao farms and taken to the Qixing Local Detention Center. Currently, his whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Beijing City] Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp Deprives Zhang Lianying of Her Visitation Rights
Chaoyang District practitioner Zhang Lianying has been illegally detained in the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp, and tortured many times both mentally and physically. On July 13, 2007, a visitor's day, Mr. Niu Jinping, Zhang Lianying's husband, was denied seeing his wife who had been illegally detained there for four months.

Early in the morning on July 26, 2007, Xinqiu District practitioners Ms. Zhang Shuyun and Ms. Xiu (from south of Xinqiu) were arrested by officers from Jieji Police Station.
11. [Beijing City] Zhang Bowen, Student of Beijing Normal University, Arrested
Mr. Zhang Bowen, a senior in the department of foreign languages at Beijing Teachers University has been held in the Checheng Detention Center since November 7, 2006. He was explaining the truth of Falun Dafa to some schoolmates, was reported, and arrested by the officers from Donghuamen Station.

Haidian District practitioner Yang Zhiyong, over 50 years old, was arrested around July 10, 2007 by officers from both the Dahuisi and the Wutasi Police Stations. His whereabouts are unknown.
13. [Shanghai] Practitioner Jin Huizhen Arrested Again
Practitioner Ms. Jin Huizhen, who went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa in the year 2000, was arrested on July 21, 2007 while passing out truth-clarification materials. She is being detained in the Zhabei Police Station. The morning after her arrest, police broke her door in and ransacked her home.

14. [Weifeng City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Yang Hongdong Once Again Illegally Sent to Forced Labor Camp
Hetan Town (Hanting District, Weifeng City) practitioner Mr. Yang Hongdong, 54 years old, was arrested on June 7, 2007 by officers from the City-west Police Station in Hanting District. Later on, he was put in the Zibo's Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for a year. During that time, his home was ransacked. Hanting District State Security brigade Captain, Yan Fenshan, extorted 3,000 yuan from Yang Hongdong's son. In 2003, Yang Hongdong was illegally sentenced to three years in Changle Forced Labor Camp where he was severely tortured.

On July 22, 2007, Sujiadian Village practitioner Mr. Zu Peiyong, while on his way to visit his relative in the evening, was arrested by Juizhai Village police officer Zhang Yong, among others. They also ransacked his home. Currently, Zu Peiyong is being detained in Mengyin County Detention Center.
Practitioners Mr. and Mrs. Zu Peiyong were arrested and brought to Yinan County Detention Center in May, 2001. Mr. Zu Peiyong was later illegally sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp.

17. [Beijing] Practitioner Sun Zhiyuan Arrested
On the morning of July 23, 2007, 6 to 7 police officers from Beijing's Tongzhou District stormed Mr. Sun Zhiyuan's home in Shicao Village and ransacked it, turning it upside down. Then they arrested him brought him to Tongzhou Detention Center. His family isn't permitted to see him.

On July 25, 2007, Dingxing County Beitian Village practitioner Ms. Zhu Xiuying was arrested and her Falun Dafa books were taken away.

In April, 2007, practitioner Zheng Zhicheng was illegally detained, after which his home was ransacked. His wife, Ms. Cheng Chao, is still locked up in the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp. He had been detained twice in the forced labor camp within the last three years.

20. [Tang County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Gao Changqiu Arrested
On July 12, 2007, Wangjing practitioner Mr. Gao Changqiu was arrested at his own store by Tang County national security brigade officers in collusion with Wangjing police. When his wife, Zhang Jingli, demanded his release, brigade police officer Jia Bingquan viciously threatened her.

23. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Yuji Arrested
On July 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., practitioner Mr. Wang Yuji was arrested by officers from Wujiabao Police Station while he was passing out truth-clarification materials in Huaiyin District. Because the police couldn't find anything on him, he was released, but his workplace is still monitoring him.

25. [Jinxiang County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Lao Zhu, Hao Cuimei and Her Husband Arrested
On July 14, 2007, Jinxiang County practitioner Mr. Lao Zhu, and his wife, Hao Cuimei were arrested while they were explaining the truth about Falun Dafa in Heze District, Chengwu County. They are still being held in Chengwu Detention Center.
26. [Wanquan County, Hebei Province] Police Robbed Practitioner Li Jun's Family
On July 23, 2007 at about 7:00 p.m., practitioner Li Jun's home was surrounded by police, who then climbed over the walls and ransacked the place and stole the family's valuables.
In 2003, Li Jun was illegally sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment.
Currently he's still detained in Hebei provincial first prison.
27. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Liu Xiuying Tortured
On July 26, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Gaobeidian city police broke into practitioner Liu Xiuying's home, confiscated Dafa books and materials, and took her to the Gaobeidian Police Station, causing her to lose consciousness. Currently she's being held at the Gaobeidian City Hospital under police surveillance.

28. [Tian City, Gansu Province] Practitioners Wang Lingzhi and Yang Shufen Illegally Detained
On July 3, 2007, (Tianshui City) Maiji District practitioners: Ms. Wang Lingzhi and Ms. Yang Shufen were illegally tried in court, and even though the court ruled in favor of the practitioners, ordering the police to drop the charges, the practitioners are still in police custody.

On June 16, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhao Lanyi, over 50 years old, was illegally arrested at home by Yishui County 610 Office police. Two days later, she was illegally sentenced to 2 years at Wangcun Forced Labor Camp where she is being persecuted. Her whereabouts are unknown to her family. Currently, Wangcun Forced Labor Camp is still detaining nearly 300 practitioners.

30. [Lishui County, Jiangsu Province] Practitioners Zhang Jinfeng, Wang Xiaojun, and Du Mingsheng Arrested
In August 2006, practitioners Ms. Zhang Jinfeng, Mr. Wang Xiaojun, and Mr. Du Mingsheng were arrested by Lishui County national security brigade police headed by Captain Tang Zhiliang. Ms. Zhang Jinfeng was later released, but the whereabouts of the other two are still unknown.
31. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Ms. Guo Boqin Persecuted
On July 25, 2007, about 11:00 a.m. More than 10 officers from both the Beihu District State Security Brigade and the Xiameiqiao Police Station, broke into practitioner Guo Boqin's home. The police not only ransacked the home, but also tore Teacher Li's picture off the wall. They took away Dafa books, related materials, and a television set. They forcefully arrested her and took her to Xiameiqiao Police Station for detention and interrogation.

32. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Guangxi Practitioner Ms. Yang Yuzhen Was Arrested at Her Home by Police from Longfeng District Public Security Bureau
33. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Li Shifang Arrested
On April 11, 2007, Songzao (Anwen Town, Chongqing City) Coal Mine practitioner Ms. Li Shifang, 67 years old, while visiting a relative in Ganshui Town and explaining the truth about Falun Dafa to some people there, was trailed by a plainclothes detective. Later, she was arrested by Ganshui Town police. They ransacked her home, took away two pictures of Teacher Li and some Dafa lectures. She was transferred to Qijiang County Police Station for five days, and was released on April 16.
On June 16, Qijiang County's public security bureau police along with Ganshui Town police arrested Li Shifang once again. She was sentenced to 18 months at the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp for persecution

34. [Pengzhou city, Sichuan province] Practitioner Zhang Qingzhen Persecuted
On July 14, 2007, at 9:00 p.m. practitioner Ms. Zhang Qingzhen, was reported on for passing out truth-clarification materials and was arrested by officers from both the Lichun Town police and the Pengzhou city police. She was taken to Pengzhou City Detention Center for persecution.
35. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Li Wolong Tortured
On the night of May 4, 2007, practitioner Mr. Li Wolong, a Pingjiang County 4th Middle School teacher, was arrested while he was pasting truth-clarification materials at Yuping Village. He was taken to the city's detention center for severe persecution.
Other practitioners in the Pingjiang County Detention Center are Mr. Chen Tingjun, Mr. Chen Tingjun, Mr. Wang Daowen, and Mr. He Youai. They were each sentenced to 15 months of forced labor.
