Personnel from the Jilin Province "610 Office" arrested practitioner Hou from the 21st Century Rencai Journal office the morning of July 25, 2007. Police put practitioner Hou into the Weizigou Detention Center.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Zhu Shuyun Still Being Held at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhu Shuyun was arrested and put into the Changchun City Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp on May 9, 2007. Ms. Zhu commenced a hunger strike to protest the persecution, but was force-fed many times. The torture caused her to get a lung infection. She was sent to the police hospital for emergency treatment. It has been reported that she has been sent back to the forced labor camp. Her family's scheduled visit on July 24, 2007 was denied.

Zhenbei Police Station chief Feng Changdong led several police officers and arrested practitioner Ms. Jia Zhenlian from Jianchang County, Huludao City at 8:00 p.m. on July 28, 2007. The arrest happened as Ms. Jian was sending forth righteous thoughts nearby a detention center to rescue fellow practitioners. Ms. Jia is presently being held at the county detention center.

Personnel from the Tonghe County Police Department arrested practitioners Ms. Ma Jiying and Ms. Zhang Guizhi at 11:00 p.m. on July 18, 2007. Police informed Ms. Ma's family to provide daily necessities to her, but forbade the family's visit.

Police also arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Xuhui the night of July 21, 2007. These lawless officers broke into practitioner Ms. Wang Jun's home at 3:00 a.m. on July 22, 2007. Ms. Wang was not at home.

8. [Fangzheng County, Heilongjiang Province] Police Extort Money from Practitioners

Police arrested practitioner Ms. Cui Yongxiang from Damiluo Town, Fangzheng County the night of June 5, 2007. Ms. Cui sustained bruises from the beatings. The abusers then put her into a detention center the next day. Ms. Cui's family paid 5,000 yuan, but police did not release Ms. Cui. The family gave 5,000 yuan to both police department deputy chief surnamed Zhao and the National Security Division chief surnamed Lu. Ms. Cui was eventually released on July 20, 2007.

Using a similar trick, the county police authorities extorted 3,000 yuan from practitioner Ms. Zhang Aihong on June 7, 2007. She is an employee from the Times Video Store in the Gaoleng Market.

9. [Tianjin] Practitioners Yang Shuzhen and Ms. Dai Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Yang Suzhen and Ms. Dai from the Nankai District, Tianjin were sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor in the middle of May 2007 because they distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. They are presently being held at the city's Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp.

10. [Tianjin] Practitioner Gao Fenglan Facing an Illegal Trial

Practitioner Ms. Gao Fenglan from the Hexi District, Tianjin was again arrested on June 13, 2007. She faced a trial at the district court at 9:00 a.m. on July 31, 2007.

11. [Beijing] Practitioner Chang Bingying Arrested

Several policemen arrested 60-year-old practitioner Ms. Chang Bingying, a retired primary school teacher from the Tongzhou District, Beijing at 11:00 a.m. on July 16, 2007. Ms. Chang's whereabouts are unknown.

Police ransacked Ms. Chang's non-practitioner sister's home and sealed it up.

12. [Hejian City, Hebei Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Tian Chunxiang

Ten officers from the Hejian City Police Department and from the Guocun Township Police Station arrested 40-year-old practitioner Ms. Tian Chunxiang from her home in Sunbian Village, Guocun Township. They put her into the city's detention center, ransacked the place and confiscated some Dafa books. Ms. Tian is on a persecution-protest hunger strike.

13. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Liu Jinling Arrested

Personnel from the Hanshan District Police Department and from the Luochengtou Police Station ransacked practitioner Ms. Liu Jinling's home on July 5, 2007. They arrested her on July 28, 2007.

14. [Xuzhou City, Jiangshu Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Personnel from the Jiawang District Police Department's 610 Office, from the Xuzhou City Police Department and from the city's National Security Bureau arrested practitioner Mr. Wei Xinshe on December 30, 2006. Policeman Zhao Rujian from the district's 610 Office arrested several practitioners including Mr. Niu Suru and Mr. Lu Binglun the next day. Police confiscated several computers and copiers. The district authorities have arrested more than 30 practitioners. Most arrested practitioners are being held at the district's detention center.

Laiyang Court agents sentenced practitioner Mr. Liu Yaowu, his wife and a practitioner from Qingdao City to from nine to twelve years in prison. The three practitioners are being held at the Laiyang City Detention Center.

16. [Yujiang County, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Deng Jinchang Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Deng Jinchang, in his 60s, is a retired teacher from the Jinjiang Town Huangbi Primary School in Yujiang County. Personnel from the Huangzhuang Township Police Station arrested him on July 23, 2007 as he was distributing truth-clarifying materials. Police put him into the Jinjiang Town Police Department and ransacked his home. They confiscated some Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Deng is presently being held at the Yingtan Detention Center Yujiang Ward.

Policeman Chen Haifeng and another one from the Yujiang County Police Department's National Security Division ransacked practitioner Mr. Ni Sicai's home on July 23, 2007, but found nothing. They went to harass Mr. Ni at his home again at 5:00 p.m. on July 25, 2007. Mr. Ni and his mother are living in exile to avoid illegal arrest.

Zhengzhou City's Zhongyuan District Court agents sentenced practitioners Ms. Nie Yulan and Ms. Huang Huili from Zhengzhou City the morning of July 27, 2007. The verdict would be issued in 15 days.

Police arrested practitioners Ms. Xu Lixia and Ms. Yang Yuping from Ma'anshan City a week ago because the two practitioners distributed truth-clarifying materials.

20. [Tai'an County, Gansu Province] Practitioner Yin Yafeng Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Tai'an County Court agents sentenced practitioner Mr. Yin Yafeng to four years in prison. Mr. Yin has appealed. He is presently being held at the county's detention center.

21. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Practitioner He Pengfei Arrested; Ill Wife without Care

Police arrested practitioner Mr. He Pengfei from Heshui County, Qingyang City on July 4, 2007 when Mr. He explained the facts about Falun Gong. Police ransacked his home and put him into the county's detention center. Family visits were forbidden. Mr. He's paralyzed wife is left at home without care.

22. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Wang Hongfa Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Wang Hongfa from Guangzhou City is a teacher from the School of Technology at Guangdong Province Normal University. He was arrested on July 16, 2007 for explaining the facts of Falun Gong. Haizhu District 610 Office head Wen Chunlan colluded with five local policemen and security guards. They broke into Mr. Wang's home and ransacked the place when the family members were at work. Mr. Wang is presently being held at the district's detention center.

Personnel from the Xindu Yongxing Wireless Valve Factory led officers from the Xindu Chengxi Police Station to local practitioners' homes the night of July 19, 2007. They ordered the practitioners to sign a document.

Personnel from the Yangliu Town Police Department in the Dongxing District, Neijiang City arrested practitioner Mr. Yang Zhengbi at 10:00 a.m. on July 27, 2007. The arrest happened as Mr. Yang distributed truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Yang is presently being held at the city's detention center.

25. [Tianjin] Practitioner Wang Changyu Arrested

Personnel from the Dongli District 610 Office colluded with officers from the Zhangguizhuang Police Station and from the local residential committee. They arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Changyu on July 19, 2007 as Ms. Wang and her child were explaining facts about Falun Gong in the residential community. Ms. Wang's husband went to the police station and requested his wife and child's release, but police only let him take his child back. Police had harassed Ms. Wang several times prior to the arrest.

Patrolling police arrested practitioner Mr. Lei Xin from the Longtan District, Jilin City at 3:00 p.m. on July 27, 2007. They confiscated his computer and a printer. His whereabouts are unknown.

Personnel from the Xianfeng Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Yang Zhenglian from the Jiangjin District, Chongqing City on July 23, 2007. The arrest happened as Ms. Yang was delivering truth-clarifying materials. Police put her into the Xianfeng Police Station that day and then transferred her into the Jiangjin District the next day.

31. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Xuan Caiqiao Arrested

Personnel from the Leliu Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Xuan Caiqiao at 2:30 p.m. on July 7, 2007 as Ms. Xuan distributed truth-clarifying materials. Personnel from the Leiliu Police Station later on colluded with officers from the Liwan District Fangcun Shayong Police Station and ransacked Ms. Xuan's home. They confiscated all her Dafa books and materials, as well as her share in stocks and a social security fund. Ms. Xuan's whereabouts are unknown.
