The CCP and Jiang Zemin launched the brutal persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, over eight years ago. Practitioners protest in front of the Chinese embassy in Helsinki every Monday through Friday, no matter whether it is the cold of winter or the heat of summer. The following are some recent experiences at the Chinese embassy.

Practitioners explain the facts and protest the persecution in front of the Chinese embassy regardless of the weather

People Show Concern

One winter morning it was drizzling rain. Around 11 o'clock, our protest was about to finish when a Chinese woman left the embassy and looked at us as we were tidying up things in the rain. She said to a practitioner who did not have a raincoat: "You still protest here in such heavy rain. I feel uneasy as I can sit in my car, but you are in the heavy rain."

Early one cold winter morning, an older lady warmly gave a practitioner a bag of candies to share with the others sitting in the snow sending righteous thoughts nearby.

Every morning there is a postman who delivers mail to the Chinese embassy. He always says hello to us. In the cold winter, he often asks, "Do you feel cold? You have sat on the snowy ground for such a long time, don't you feel cold?"

People who know the true situation

Once, a Chinese man on a bicycle stopped by and said: "I have read the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party." It is stored on my computer. You did a great job."

One cold winter morning, a pair of Finnish youths came out of the visa section and curiously looked at the banners and display boards we had set up. The young men asked us about the organ harvesting and were shocked after hearing the facts. He patted a practitioner's shoulder and said, "I hope the persecution will stop soon" and wished us good luck.

A Finnish student who spoke fluent Chinese discussed the situation of the persecution with us. He said he grew up in China from a very young age. He had lived in Kunming City. He understood very much that the Chinese are not allowed to have independent thoughts and opinions. Practitioners told him that the propaganda about Falun Gong is all lies, and that many Chinese people have been deceived by it. We asked him to be sure and tell his friends in China the truth about Falun Gong, and he happily agreed.

Once, several young people told us: "The CCP defames you. Actually, the CCP is an evil cult. If we didn't need visas, we wouldn't be here."
