1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Li Jingbo Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor - Belated News
Police arrested 51-year-old Ms. Li Jingbo from her home on December 20, 2006, and sentenced her to one year of forced labor. She is presently being held at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp's No. 3 Division.
Previously, personnel from the Heping District Police Department had arrested Ms. Li and put her into the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center on June 5, 2006.
2. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Cui Shengyun is Being Held at the Jiamusi City Detention Center
Ms. Cui Shengyun is still held at the Jiamusi City Detention Center since her arrest by personnel from the city's police department and the National Security Bureau on May 19, 2007. Police often tortured her, and she was deprived of her family's visitation rights.
Personnel from the city's National Security Bureau arrested practitioner Mr. Cong Guoyou and sent him to one of his relatives' homes on May 31, 2007. Mr. Cong was monitored, and the family's home phone was tapped.
3. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Officials from Several Villages Harass Practitioners
Security Division chiefs from different villages, including Beidian, Zuochang, Damafang, Maying, Luozhuang, and Beijianta Villages in Langfang City, asked every practitioner whether he or she still practiced Falun Gong and ordered everyone to sign a document giving up Falun Gong practice.
4. [Jinan City, Henan Province] Practitioners Zhou Yurong and Wang Cuiyu Arrested
Ms. Zhou Yurong and Ms. Wang Cuiyu went out to distribute truth clarifying materials the night of June 13, 2007. Police discovered them and put them in the Jishui Police Station. The two practitioners are presently being held in Jiyuan City Shibin Detention Center.
5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrests of Ms. Qiu Jinyan and Others
Personnel from the Xi'an Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Qiu Jinyan and Ms. Teng Li from Mudanjiang City at 8:00 p.m. on May 13, 2007. The arrests occurred as the practitioners were distributing truth clarifying materials. Ms. Teng had certain disease symptoms and was thus released on May 14, 2007. Ms. Qiu was put into the city's No. 2 Detention Center.
Personnel from the Gaoping District Police Department's National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Song Cuiping on May 27, 2007. Ms. Song was an employee from the Nanchong City Huaxi Stock Market.. She is presently being held at the city's Huafeng Detention Center. Police also ransacked her dorm and office.

6. [Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Police Arrested Practitioner Guo Jianhai and Ransacked His Home
Mr. Guo Jianhai, in his 30s, lives at Huairen Town in Shanxi Province. Policemen from Zhunger City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region broke into his home, arrested him, and ransacked his home on June 23, 2007. They confiscated a computer, a printer-copier, 3,000 yuan in cash and some truth clarification materials.
7. [Qidong County, Henan Province] Practitioners Zhou Duanxiu and Tan Luyun Arrested
When Ms. Zhou Duanxiu and Ms. Tan Luyun from Qidong County, Hengyang City in Hunan Province were on their way back home at 9:00 p.m. on June 24, 2007, they discovered someone tearing down Falun Dafa posters from a pole and persuaded the person not to do that. Later on, three policemen in two vehicles chased the two practitioners and arrested them. The two practitioners' whereabouts are now unknown.

Personnel from the Wanghua Police Station arrested Ms. Xiao Cuihua and Mr. Xiang Jinjun from the Wanghua District in Fushun City on June 20, 2007.
9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Yang Xiumei Stages a Persecution-Protest Hunger Strike at the Qingdao City Detention Center
Ms. Yang Xiumei is a retiree from the Weifang City Cotton Spinning Factory. She distributed truth clarification materials on her way to a relative's home on June 17, 2007. However, an officer followed her and then local police arrested her. Police also arrested her non-practitioner relative. Ms. Yang is presently being held at the Qingdao City Detention Center. She has been on a persecution-protest hunger strike for seven days.
10. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Personnel from the 610 Office Arrest Practitioner Pei Linying
Ms. Pei Linying from Linyi City was sent to the Jinan City Jiangshuiquan Forced Labor Camp in August 2005. She should have been released in June 2007. However, personnel from the Linyi City 610 Office transferred her from the forced labor camp to a brainwashing center at 9:00 p.m. on June 14, 2007. Police also extorted 2,000 yuan from her workplace.
11. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from the Benxi County Police Department, from the 610 Office, the Political and Judiciary Committee and from the National Security Division started a new round of persecution of practitioners from between February and May 2007. They arrested seven practitioners from Xiaoshi Town, Benxi County. Practitioner Ms. Fan Shuqing was sentenced to two years of forced labor, to be served at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Police beat practitioner Ms. Zhang at the town's police station. She was severely injured and manifests some disease symptoms now. She has also been sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, but because the forced labor camp authorities refused to accept Ms. Zhang they eventually released her. After practitioner Mr. Huang Yan was arrested, the police often harassed his non-practitioner wife. Mr. Huang's mother, in her 80s, suffers from a brain hemorrhage. Mr. Huang's mother is hospitalized in the county's No.1 Hospital
12. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Che Mingji Arrested
Police arrested Ms. Che Mingji two weeks ago. The arrest happened as Ms. Che was distributing truth clarification materials at the Shitoukou Sightseeing Area. Ms. Che's whereabouts are unknown.
13. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Yu Lihai
Three policemen from Xinyang Township in Nong'an County broke into Mr. Yu Lihai's home in the Qianshangjiatangzi area of Tongmeng Village. They attempted to force him to sign a document and be fingerprinted. Mr. Yu defied the police, so they took him by force to Nong'an County.

Ms. Jiao Qiong and Ms. Li Nan had just started to practice Falun Gong. They were arrested in Pingliang City while they were posting truth clarification materials on June 24, 2007. Police also ransacked their homes.
15. [Chongqing] Practitioner Yan Guangbi Held at a Detention Center
Police arrested Ms. Yan Guangbi from the Jiangbei District, Chongqing, on June 1, 2007, and put her into a brainwashing center. They then transferred her to the district's detention center on June 13, 2007.
16. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Supplemental Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Li Xiuying
Ms. Li Xiuying was arrested and sent to the Nanming District Detention Center at 1:00 p.m. on March 9, 2007. The arrest happened as she explained the facts of Falun Gong. Police transferred her into the Guiyang City Police Department's No. 2 Detention Center on March 24, 2007.
Ms. Li, 63 years old, is a retiree from the Guiyang City Pickle Factory. She had been arrested several times for practicing Falun Gong. She escaped from the city's Chaoyang Police Station in 2003 and then lived in exile for several months. Personnel from the Guizhou Province 610 Office threatened Ms. Li's workplace and arrested her on December 14, 2005. They put her into the city's Lannigou Brainwashing Center.
17. [Hailaer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Three Practitioners Including Wang Yaheng and Xu Shufen Arrested
Personnel from the Hailaer City National Security Division have monitored 36-year-old practitioner Mr. Wang Yaheng's phone for a long time. They arrested Mr. Wang at his workplace. They also ransacked his home and confiscated some truth clarification materials and one of Master's pictures. Mr. Wang is presently being held at a detention center.
Hailaer District 610 Office head Li Jikuan colluded with personnel from the Kaoshan Police Station. They went to the Hailar Railway Station where the 40-year-old practitioner works and arrested Ms. Xu on June 12, 2007. They put her in the Yimin Brainwashing Center. Ms. Xu's workplace and family were not informed about her arrest.
Police arrested 33-year-old practitioner Mr. Xu, an employee of a railway station.

Gaobeidian City National Security Division chief Zhao Kejun colluded with three policemen. They broke into the hotel run by Ms. Hu Yanfen on the morning of June 26, 2007. They confiscated some Dafa books, truth clarification materials, and a cellphone and then put Ms. Hu into the city's police department. They also ransacked her home and confiscated Dafa books and truth clarification materials.

20. [Beijing] Practitioners Zhai Guangsheng and Zhai Guangcai Arrested
Personnel from the Lugu District National Security Division arrested Mr. Zhai Guangsheng and his brother, Mr. Zhai Guangcai, from Yamen Village, the Shijingshan District in Beijing on April 25, 2007 and May 14, 2007, respectively. The two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

22. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Zhang Yuwen
Officer Li Guangshu from the Chaoyang City Qianjin Police Station broke into 60-year-old Ms. Zhang Yuwen's home and duped her into going to the police station the morning of June 21, 2007. Chief officer Wang Fengjun ordered someone to handcuff Ms. Zhang. Ms. Zhang resisted the arrest, but six policemen pushed her to ground and put her in handcuffs. She was taken to Shenyang City Masanjia Forced Labor Camp; however, the forced labor camp authorities refused to admit her because of her poor health. Ms. Zhang was sent back. Policeman Wang Fengjun called and threatened her family. He extorted 500 yuan from them and then released Ms. Zhang.
23. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Sun Suling Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor
Ms. Sun Suling from Landi Town, Pingdu City, was arrested on June 14, 2007. Personnel from the city's 610 Office, from the Landi Town Government, and from the town's police department sentenced Ms. Sun to one and a half years of forced labor, to be served at the Zibo City Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
24. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Jilin City police authorities arrested five practitioners between June 12 and June 14, 2007. Mr. Liu Chengda, Mr. Li Hailong, Ms. Wang Ying, and Mr. Ma Chi were confined to the city's detention center, but practitioner Ms. Ma Fang's whereabouts are unknown.

Warden Yu Derong from the Mudanjiang City No. 2 Detention Center forced three practitioners who were on a hunger strike in March 2002 to eat by threatening that he would burn Master's pictures.

Policemen Ye Xudong and Wang Qiang from the Wanyuan City National Security Division arrested Mr. Xiong Zhengming, a teacher from the city's Professional Middle School in Sichuan Province on March 15, 2007. Police also ransacked Mr. Xiong's home and confiscated a computer and a printer.
Mr. Xiong has been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and is so far being held at the city's No. 2 Detention Center.

30. [Jilin Province] Practitioner Liu Shuyan's Family Members Went to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp to Request Ms. Liu's Release But Were Refused
Personnel from the Weixing Street Police Station arrested Ms. Liu Shuyan from Changchun City at her home on December 6, 2006. Ms. Liu is being held at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Her husband suffers from the effects of a stroke and cannot take care of himself.
Ms. Liu's family members went to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp and requested her release, but were refused.
31. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Chen Xiaodong Arrested and Ms. Ding Meirong Injured
Practitioner Ms. Chen Xiaodong from Fuyang City was arrested on June 12, 2007. She is being held at the Taihe County Detention Center. Practitioner Ms. Ding Meirong fell from the fourth floor and severely injured herself during the interrogation.

Police arrested Ms. Li Fang living in Kunming Street, Dalian City, on June 4, 2007. Ms. Li was first put into the Jinnan Street Detention Center and then transferred to the Fushun City Brainwashing Center.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xia from Hunan Province, a 1993 graduate student in the Sports Department, has been dismissed from the university and put into a forced labor camp.
Practitioner Ms. Zhu Kuihua from Shandong Province, a 1993 graduate student in the Mathematics Department, was dismissed from the university.
Ms. Zhang Hongying from Yantai City, Shandong Province, a 1993 graduate student in the Hekou Coast Institute, was dismissed from the university.
Ms. Jiang Yun, a university library employee, has been sentenced to forced labor.
Ms. Lin Cuixia, a teacher, has been sentenced to forced labor.

Personnel from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office, from the National Security Division and from the Police Department recently arrested several practitioners. They arrested a practitioner from Jinyang Hair Design the morning of June 21, 2007. The practitioner's whereabouts are unknown.

35. [Xian County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Zheng Dehua Dies after a Car Accident. It Is Heard that a Police Vehicle Caused the Accident
Practitioner Ms. Zheng Dehua from Xian County was involved in a car accident at 8:25 p.m. on May 14, 2007, as she distributed truth clarification materials. Many people, including policemen from 110 Police Emergency Dispatch Unit, witnessed the accident. Ms. Zhang was alive right after the accident, but no one gave her first aid. She eventually died from blood loss.
36. [Heze City, Shandong Province] A Practitioner Arrested
About a dozen officers in three police vehicles arrived at a practitioner's home. They were from the Shan County Police Department's National Security Division and from Cao County Police Department's National Security Division in Heze City. The incident happened at 2:30 p.m. on June 19, 2007.
They arrested the practitioner and put him/her into the Qingji Town Police Station in Cao County. Police forced the practitioner to sit on a metal chair and put the practitioner in handcuffs and shackles. They interrogated the practitioner until 9:00 p.m.
