Mr. Zhou from Suizhong County, Hulutao City, Liaoning Province, is eighty-one years old. He worked himself to the bone for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the first half of his life. During the "Great Cultural Revolution" he was accused of being a Taiwanese spy, tortured and forced to live in a cattle shed. At this time he developed a lot of diseases. In the 1990's Mr. Zhou was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctor told his family members to prepare for his funeral. When Grandpa Zhou felt helpless, he remembered Falun Dafa. The following is his story.
In the Great Cultural Revolution, Mr. Zhou was beaten and his cervical vertebra was dislocated. Every year, he had to spend a long time in hospitals, but the treatments were ineffective. Not only was his health poor, but his temperament was not good either. Decades of CCP culture had turned him into an arrogant and overbearing person. He cursed at people whenever he opened his mouth and beat others whenever he raised his hands.
When he was 72 years old, he began to cough blood, which lasted more than a year. He went for an examination in Suizhong County Hospital, then a Jinzhou affiliated hospital and finally Mt. Zijinshan Tuberculosis Recuperate Hospital. The conclusion from several hospitals was that he had late-stage lung cancer. The doctors told his family members that he could not survive surgery and told them to prepare for his funeral.
When Mr. Zhou was 73 years old, his symptoms grew more and more severe. He couldn't bear the pain and even painkillers didn't work.
With no other options, Mr. Zhou remembered the good things he had heard about Falun Dafa and asked his family members to read Zhuan Falun to him. When they began to read, the pain stopped. On one night, they read seven lectures of Zhuan Falun in a row. Within two weeks his health began to noticeably improve. Gradually he stopped coughing blood. He became more energetic and ate more. Later his hair grew back and new teeth too. At this time, he went to the Jinzhou hospital for an examination and to everyone's surprise the lung cancer had disappeared!
Later, the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong and did not allow Mr. Zhou to practice it. They even cut off his pension. When he decided to give up practicing, his illness symptoms recurred. He had to take injections frequently and finally developed an allergy to the medicine. He then understood that only Falun Dafa can save him and he has been practicing since.
Now Mr. Zhou's temperament is good. Before he never did his housework, but now he does it on his own initiative. When many old friends saw him they all said: "He has more energy than he did ten years ago!" Grandpa Zhou loudly tells them: "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Dafa gave me a second life!"
