Leader of Australian Democrats Writes to Foreign Minister to Express Her Concern Over Falun Gong Practitioners Being Persecuted in China (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) On June 1, 2007, Senator Lyn Allison,
leader of the Australian Democrats, wrote to Foreign Minister
Downer to seek help for Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted
in China. She specifically mentioned Falun Gong practitioner Ms.
Zeng Aihua, who is imprisoned in Shanghai Women's Prison and is
suffering from high blood pressure.
Holland: Falun Gong Practitioners Condemn the Chinese Media's Slanderous Report about Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom.net) Recently some overseas Chinese media,
such as Singtao Daily and Sino-Dutch Business,
reported a murder case by a person of Chinese descent in Holland.
This was originally reported as a tragic murder carried out by a
person with mental illness. However, the reports from the above
Chinese media, from the titles to the content, deliberately
connected this tragedy with Falun Gong, and even misled readers by
indicating that practicing Falun Gong would lead to mental
problems. This report adopted very similar slanderous methods to
those used by the Chinese Communist regime in its persecution of
Falun Gong. Moreover, these reports gave readers the false
impression that the Dutch media had reported the incident in the
same fashion.
Wisconsin: Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held in Madison
(Clearwisdom.net) On June 17, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners
from in and around the state of Wisconsin attended a cultivation
experience sharing conference in the city of Madison. Nine
practitioners shared their experiences.
