(Clearwisdom.net) I'd like to bring to your attention the issue of interference regarding the use of a practitioner's time. I know one practitioner has been perplexed by it for a long time, and some practitioners in other places also suffer from similar situations.
My friend and fellow practitioner has cultivated in Dafa for almost ten years. He has been steadfast--he went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and has overcome some major tribulations. Nevertheless, in the past several years he has experienced interference regarding the use of his time, which appears in the form of a very laborious job. He has to work overtime daily until midnight, and the next morning he needs to arrive at work by 8:00 a.m. In addition the work takes up most of his weekends and holidays. He often has to give up his lunch break to study the Fa. This situation has severely limited the time and energy he is able to put into efforts to rescue sentient beings.
I have exchanged my observations with him. Actually, he has continued to try to find a different job. However, his special skills make it difficult to find an appropriate job. If he gives up his specialty to merely do unskilled labor his parents will be unhappy. At the onset of the persecution, a most troublesome event happened: the authorities made a notation in his employment records, saying he practices Falun Gong, so he worries that if he resigns from this job he may not be able to find any appropriate work. He therefore encounters interference with his normal work and life.
Here I ask fellow practitioners to please help him and share what he should do to escape this predicament. Isn't this also old forces' interference? Should he choose to simply quit this job and do some unskilled labor?
