(Clearwisdom.net) On April 22 to 26, 2007, an Earth Day celebration was held in Sacramento State University and Sacramento City College. Local Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the activities. They introduced Falun Dafa and spread awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong.

Although the weather forecast predicted rain that day, it was sunny and crowds of people showed up. Practitioners prepared literature with detailed information for the visitors to take. Sometimes visitors stopped to talk with practitioners in depth. A western gentleman knew the disaster that the communist party caused to the world, but found the CCP's persecution of a group like Falun Gong unbelievable. Practitioners handed over Nine Commentaries on Communist Party and told him the evil nature of CCP. He said he would read it carefully.
More Chinese people passing by this year paid attention to practitioners and their efforts to reveal the persecution and organ harvesting atrocities. Mr. Jin, a student, said he stored many truth-clarification materials and told a practitioner to save the literature on site for others. A Chinese lady said that she read much literature and admired practitioners' truth-clarification. A student from China said he objected to the persecution of people with different beliefs though he did not know much about Falun Gong. He said that many people had similar views but dare not to speak out against China.
The persecution of Falun Gong is ongoing in China. More people are awakening. A student asked a practitioner, "Is Falun Gong a religion?" The practitioner told him that Falun Gong is a cultivation practice and a kind of belief. The student took literature and said in smile, "Though I am a Christian, I'd like to know this practice."
In Sacramento City College, the booth across the way was from a church. They came to get some of out materials.
A well dressed woman asked, "Is it Falun Gong? Wonderful!" Then she talked with a practitioner about her understanding of the facts, and CCP history. She said she must be a Chinese during her past life. She left a few websites she was in charge of and told practitioners to post information related to Falun Gong.
