Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Tian Biying from Suining City, Sichuan Province made a living repairing shoes in Xizangjidi in Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province. Officers Liu Zengjie, Wang Xiang and others from the Chengdong Police Station in Chongzhou City beat her in February 2005 until she lost consciousness. They illegally arrested her and took her to the Chongzhou City Detention Center.
Li Maoxiang, head of the Legal Section at the Chongzhou City Police Department arrested her in March 2005 and sent her to a detention center where she was physically and verbally abused.
Some practitioners delivered clothes to Tian Biying in November 2006, but the detention center authorities said she had left and her whereabouts are unknown.
