(Clearwisdom.net) I have read many Falun Gong practitioners’ experience-sharing articles and learned of their understandings of the “Fa” gained while validating the Fa. When I read the Fa that practitioners cite in their articles, I can immediately understand the meaning of the Fa at a different level, and I can naturally feel Dafa’s goodness and mighty virtue and assimilate myself to that realm of the Fa. We have this precious chance to harmonize the Fa and I feel really lucky! I have the opportunity to cultivate myself during Master’s Fa-rectification, so we can make rapid progress in our cultivation practice. I understand that I have gained a lot, for which I can only show my gratitude by improving my “xinxing.” Looking back at the hardships I have had amid tribulations, they are nothing, because I understand that Master has borne the hardships for me, and Master has protected me while I blazed through many hardships.
The authorities recently tried to harass me, now that “April 25” is approaching. Around 9:00 p.m. on March 19, 2007, several officials from the neighborhood committee and a policeman came and continuously knocked on my door. They shouted loudly that higher-up government officials wanted to see me and wanted me to go to the local police station for a talk. They threatened me, saying that they “knew what I had done” and if I did not go, I would be treated harshly. The situation was pretty intense at the time.
I knew that they came to arrest me, so I immediately started to send forth righteous thoughts. With my righteous thoughts, my family members could also act righteously. The evildoers managed to push open the inner wooded door, while the outer metal gate was still locked. I started to ask them why they came and why they came to harass a good person’s family. I said, “All those who practice Falun Gong have followed Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, to be good people. How could you not know this after so many years of persecution? Heavenly principles will not tolerate persecuting good people and sending them to prisons! Do you still want to do such bad things that are against heavenly principles?”
My family supported me so the officials and the policeman had to restrain themselves. While sending forth righteous thoughts I called practitioners A and B to tell them what was happening in my home. The local practitioners thus immediately started to help me eliminate the evil Communist specter, dark minions and rotten demons in other dimensions. Practitioner A and B also came close to my home to send forth righteous thoughts. Because of Master's help and the practitioners’ very strong righteous thoughts, when I calmed down to send forth righteous thoughts, I could feel that the pressure was completely gone, and that the very cold and congested feeling that I usually had in my chest area was gone. The officials and the police left my home without achieving their purpose, and they did not come again. This is just as Master said,
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughts
Master has the power to turn back the tide”
(“The Master-Disciple Bond” in Hong Yin II, Translation Version A)
Now when I recall the persecution that we have endured in the past, I find that it was all because we did not have strong righteous thoughts. We had loopholes in our improvement and cooperation as a whole, permitting the old cosmic forces’ evil elements to interfere with us and take advantage of our loopholes.
In 2000, when some practitioners at our practice site were arrested while they handed out truth-clarification materials on the streets - how intimidated and weak we were then! We did not know how to use righteous thoughts to deal with the problems. We had a lot of human notions and always felt afraid, making practitioners in tribulations unable to endure the evildoers' persecution. This made the persecutors become even more frenzied in their evildoing. The police would then arrest anyone who they found to practice Falun Gong. Once, during the arrest of the practitioners from one practice site, the persecutors sent more than ten practitioners to forced labor camps, and twenty to thirty to a drug rehabilitation center for brainwashing. The whole practice site was shattered and broken, and we thus lost the environment for practitioners to study the Fa and practice the exercises together. Every practitioner’s xinxing was different, and we all failed to use the Fa criteria to judge how we should act. Our selfishness reflected that, as did a strong self-protection mentality. Other undesirable traits we displayed were human emotions, not basing our views on the Fa during the Fa rectification period, and not knowing how to consider others first to achieve good cooperation among practitioners as one body and ascend together.
The seven years of cultivation practice in tribulation has truly tempered Dafa practitioners. When several practitioners recently went to a different region to coordinate the work of validating the Fa, the police there arrested them. These practitioners immediately informed our local practitioners by cell phones. The practitioners in our region told each other in a timely manner and then sent forth powerful righteous thoughts. Because all practitioners had cooperated with each other very well, the arrested practitioners returned several days later.
Validating the Fa with righteous thoughts and actions has enabled the practitioners in our region to raise their levels very quickly and become more determined in their faith in Master and Dafa. Many Dafa practitioners have become increasingly mature in their doing the “three things”, just as Master said,
“If every one of you can understand the Fa from the depths of your mind, that will truly be the manifestation of the Fa whose power knows no boundary—the reappearance of the mighty Buddha Fa in the human world!” (“Cautionary Advice” in Essentials for Further Advancement)
