(Clearwisdom.net) After Master's new article “Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil” was published, countless practitioners in China went near forced labor camps and prisons to send forth righteous thoughts from a close distance. Fellow practitioners around the world are also sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil factors in prisons and forced labor camps. The evil beings there are almost completely eliminated. So why are practitioners still being detained in those places? Many of us are thinking about it. Today I would like to share some of my limited understandings on this critical issue.
It has been more than seven years since Jiang Zemin's regime started the persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners. During these years, some of us have been sent to brainwashing centers, some have been sentenced to jail terms, some have been tortured to the brink of death, and some have even lost their lives. Although some were not arrested, they also lost their lives because their human bodies were persecuted intensely by the old forces and the evil in other dimensions. Why have there been so many persecution cases during the Fa-rectification period after July 20, 1999?
Master has taught us such a “Fa” principle in his teachings: Master has arranged a cultivation path for us, but at the same time, the old forces also arranged our paths, including our every thought. When we don't follow Master's arrangement, we walk along the path arranged by the old forces. Moreover, when we descended from high levels, we were obstructed by the old forces. We made agreements with them in order to obtain the Fa in the future, or else we wouldn't be allowed to obtain the Fa. We signed many pacts in order to obtain the Fa in the future when Master spread Dafa.
Master mentioned in “Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005”,
“Some students had agreements with the old forces dating back to prehistoric times, and in that case what can be done if he has to depart at a certain time?”
Master's lectures are not intended for some individuals or just a few people, but for all practitioners. Why don't we all think it over? Did we make agreements with the old forces when we descended from higher levels? Many practitioners were arrested, sent to forced labor camps, and died from torture. When our fellow practitioners were suffering from severe persecution and Master and righteous gods wanted to help, the old forces would say, “They signed agreements. You cannot help them.” Master was worried but couldn't help (because of the agreements). However, it doesn't mean there is no way out. In “Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.” Master said:
“a being's choice is up to him, even if he made some kind of vow in history. At critical moments it's still up to him what he wants to do. And this goes for things that are positive and negative--it's the case for both.”
We are practicing Dafa. What we want is up to us. No matter what vows we made when we came down, we should get rid of all the agreements and make a new choice.
This is what I did, which fellow practitioners can perhaps use as a reference. I stood in front of Master's picture and held my palms erect in front of my chest. I said to Master, “Master, no matter what kind of agreements I made with the old forces, from now on, they are all in vain. I'm just following the path Master has arranged for me by doing the “Three Things” well and following Master home. I do not want any arrangements made by the old forces.” This way, the old forces will not be able to find any excuses to persecute practitioners and will not dare to arrest our practitioners. In fact, everyone might have had some kind of pact with the old forces in history in order to obtain the Fa in the future. We should thoroughly think it over. Let's resolve all the agreements made in the past and clean up all the obstructions in our cultivation paths.
I think that fellow practitioners in detention centers may not know about Master's recent lectures, especially the ones on the subject of the agreements made with the old forces. Or they may have read them but didn't understand them well, which provides the old forces with excuses to still persecute and not release the practitioners. Because of those agreements, our fellow practitioners still cannot get out of detention, even though we have sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the rotten evil factors in other dimensions in prisons and forced labor camps.
There is also another issue. Some senior practitioners do not understand some of the terms in Dafa books. We are walking along a path toward divinity. The human shell must be removed in order to become a god. Such a shell includes many things, such as degenerated notions, all kinds of attachments, bad thoughts, ordinary human thoughts, and so on. We should cultivate our every thought. When we encounter any issues, we should seize our human thoughts at the moment they occur and realize that it is human thinking and not righteous thinking. (Righteous thoughts are measured against the Fa). We should tell ourselves, “This is a human thought. I should get rid of it.” We should cultivate ourselves on every thought, and restrain our human side and perfect our cultivated side. In the end, the human shell will be removed and we will reach Consummation. We all know that during this last stage of our cultivation, the road has become much narrower. It is so narrow that we have to cultivate our every individual thought. Many senior practitioners do not understand how to cultivate their every thought. There are many senior practitioners in our area who are farmers and do not have much education. So there are such issues here.
