1. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Fuxing's Life is in Peril due to Torture

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Fuxing has been held at the Panjin City Detention Center following his arrest on July 22, 2006.

Mr. Wang was in a coma and sent to the city's No.1 Hospital for emergency treatment on March 15, 2007, and hospitalized in the Neurology Department on the third floor. His life is in peril; however, police still keep him handcuffed and shackled to the bed.

Mr. Wang's family requested his release, but Shuangtaizi District Political and Judiciary Committee chief Wang Baoli refused. He treats the family rudely and avoids meeting with them.

It was heard that several policemen ordered a doctor from the Xiong County General Hospital in Hebei Province to force-feed a practitioner from another area on March 8, 2007.

3. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhang Yaqin in Critical Condition after Eight Days on Hunger Strike

Li Qiang from the Haicheng City 610 Office Political and Security Team arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Yaqin and put her into a detention center. The arrest happened when Ms. Zhang was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She has been on a hunger strike for eight days, and her life is in peril.

4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Yan Xiuli, Tian Guiting and Han Defa Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Yan Xiuli and Ms. Tian Guiting from the Longfeng District in Daqing City were arrested on March 19, 2007. Ms. Yan's home was ransacked. Mr. Han Defa was also arrested the morning of March 21, 2007.

6. [Tahe County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yang Zongying Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Yang Zongying and her husband Mr. Chen Tiajie from Tahe County, Daxing'anling Area went to Beijing to clarify the truth of Falun Gong after 1999 when the persecution was launched. Personnel from the county's police department arrested them and sent them into a forced labor camp.

Mr. Chen was sentenced to imprisonment and was held at the Hangzhou City Prison in 2002. Ms. Yang was living in exile with her four-year-old daughter. Nevertheless, Ms. Yang was arrested in Zhejiang Province in early March 2007. Police from Tahe County sent her into the county detention center.

Ms. Yang's younger brother Mr. Yang Zonghai's home was ransacked in 2002 because Mr. Yang made some truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Yang has chosen to live in exile since then. Ms. Yang's sister, practitioner Ms. Yang Yunjie, was arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labor in May 2006. Her home was ransacked. She is presently being held at the Qiqhar City Forced Labor Camp.

7. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Updated Information about Practitioners Tan Tongqing and Yang Rixin

Personnel from the Gaoshan Town Police Department arrested practitioners Mr. Tan Tongqing and Mr. Yang Rixin on March 12, 2007 when the two practitioners were making truth-clarifying materials. The policemen then ransacked the practitioners' homes at 11:00 p.m. on March 13. The practitioners are currently being held at the Maoming City No.1 Detention Center.

8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Wang Shulan and Wang Kangning Arrested and Their Homes Ransacked

Personnel from the Zhongshan Street Police Precinct in Qingdao City arrested 60-year-old practitioner Ms. Wang Shulan the afternoon of March 15, 2007 when she was at a truth-clarifying materials production center in Tianjin Street. Police confiscated all Dafa materials, Dafa books, a printer, a satellite television receiver for New Tang Dynasty, and a motorcycle. Personnel from the Zhongshan Street Police Precinct ransacked practitioner Wang Shulan's home at 6:00 p.m. on March 15, 2007. They confiscated her computer, two printers, a MP3 player, a flash disc, a removable disc, all Dafa books, some truth-clarifying CDs, Master's picture and over 70,000 yuan cash. They did not finish the search until midnight. None of Wang's family members or relatives were present during the search.

Personnel from the Zhongshan Street Police Precinct arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Kangning from Tianjin Street at 8:00 p.m. the same day, (March 15, 2007). He was put into Qingdao City Dashan Detention Center.

After practitioner Mr. Feng Shaogui was held at the Jilin City Detention Center for a month he was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor, to be served at the Jiutai City's Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp.

Personnel from the Ningyuan Police Station arrested practitioners Mr. Wang Jiahui from the Shengou Temple and Mr. Yu Jinjia from Daxi Street the afternoon of March 16, 2007. The arrest happened when the two practitioners were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in the Jiubao Area. Mr. Wang was sentenced to two years of forced labor; Mr. Yu one year.

11. [Jilin Province] Practitioner Ma Shuyun Arrested

Personnel from the Jiangmifeng Town Police Department in the Longtan District, Jilin City arrested practitioners Ms. Ma Shuyun and Ms. Duan Yajie from their homes in Dongshanjiazi Village, Jiangmifeng Town at 11:30 on March 19, 2007. They ransacked Ms. Ma's home at 12:00 p.m. and Ms. Duan's home at 3:00 p.m. The whereabouts of the two practitioners are unknown.

12. [Tianjin] Persecution of Practitioner Yuan Huazhen

Practitioner Ms. Yuan Huazhen, 61 years old, lives at Xiaohaidi Yuejiangli Lane, the Hexi District, Tianjin City. She left her home at 8:00 a.m. but had not returned by 10:00 p.m. on December 14, 2006. Her family members called police and were later informed that Ms. Yuan had fallen and injured herself. The family members believe she did not fall at all, but was tortured into such a state. She was in emergency neurosurgery at the No. 4 Hospital. Three months have passed, but when people go to visit her, Ms. Yuan does not recognize people and cannot speak. She is paralyzed in one eye and in her right arm and leg.

13. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Xiuli and Chunhong Arrested

A dozen officers from the Donganzhuang Police Station drove to female practitioner Xiuli's home and arrested her and Chunhong at 3:00 p.m. on March 20, 2007. The arrest happened when the two practitioners were installing an antenna to receive the New Tang Dynasty TV program. Police ransacked Xiuli's home and confiscated all equipment.

14. [Wenling City, Zhejiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested at the Wenling City Detention Center

Several practitioners from Wenling City were arrested on March 14, 2007. They were Ms. Han Ping, Mr. Zhao Linbing, Ms. Wang Honghui, and Mr. Guo Xiaobo. Three practitioners - Mr. Li Tianyun, Mr. Chen Maoxin and Mr. Deng Kunhe, who worked together in the city - were arrested. All practitioners are presently being held at the city's detention center.

15. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Shen Yanru Held at the Changli Brainwashing Center

Officers Chen Jiangtao and others from the Xinji Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Shen Yanru from Sijiatuo Village, Xinji Township, Changli City, Hebei Province on January 18, 2007 when she was clarifying the truth. She was put into the Changli City Detention Center and then transferred to Tangshan City's Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, but the latter refused to admit her because of her high blood pressure. Ms. Shen is presently being held at the city's brainwashing center.

16. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioners Wan Yuhua and Others Arrested

Officers from a local police station arrested practitioner Ms. Wan Yuhua from Nanchang City at about 6:00 p.m. on March 13, 2007. They confiscated a TV, a computer, a printer, 10,000 yuan cash and other items. Policemen are presently staying at her home daily to entrap other practitioners. Four or five practitioners have been arrested. One older practitioner has been released with the power of righteous thoughts. Other practitioners might be sent into the Nanchang City No.1 Detention Center.

17. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Wang Zuoping and His Sister Thought to Be Held at the First Detention Center in Nanchang City

Practitioner Mr. Wang Zuoping and his sister from Wanli District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province were arrested shortly after they went to distribute truth-clarifying materials in Wanli District at the end of 2006. They might be held at the city's No. 1 Detention Center.

18. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wu Shizhong Sent into the Wangcun No. 2 Forced Labor Camp

Policemen found practitioner Mr. Wu Shizhong posting truth-clarifying materials at 4:00 a.m. on March 11, 2007. They arrested him and put him into the Huangtai Police Station and later transferred him into the Zhonggong Detention Center for one month of criminal detention. Police threatened his family members and ransacked his home on the next day. They confiscated a computer and a printer his child had used. Policemen Song Qian, Li Yulei and Sun participated in the home search.

Personnel from the Tianqiao District 610 Office in Jinan City sentenced Mr. Wu to one year and nine months of forced labor on March 16, 2007. Mr. Wu was sent to the Jinan Province Forced Labor Camp, but the officials refused to accept him because of his high blood pressure. They also stated that no Falun Gong practitioners had been admitted to the labor camp. Police took him back to the Huangtai Police Station on March 17, 2007, but the station's Song Qian sent him to the Wangcun No. 2 Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province at 8:30 a.m. on March 19, 2007.

19. [Chao'an County, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Lin Zhangyang Arrested

Local security guards arrested practitioner Mr. Li Zhangyang from Chao'an County, Guangdong Province on March 15, 2007 when he was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials at Tugou Village, Liaoyuan Town, Puning City. Police sent him into the city's Wushi Detention Center.

20. [Zhiiang City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Wu Cuiqin Arrested

Officers from the Zhijiang City National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Wu Cuiqin from Zhijiang City on March 13, 2007. They confiscated some Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials from her home. It is heard that police also ransacked some other practitioners' homes. Some practitioner had been followed prior to this series of home searches.

[Yunmeng County, Hubei Province] Local Police Arrest Practitioner Li Hui

The Yunmeng County Chengguan Police Station deputy chief surnamed Hu led a gang of policemen to practitioner Mr. Li Hui's home on March 19, 2007. They attempted to enter, but Mr. Li's practitioner wife refused to open the door. Later on in the early morning of March 20, 2007, they arrested Mr. Li at the Yunmeng County Cotton Manufacturing workshop where Mr. Li is employed.

22. [Henan Province] Practitioner Chen Liangjun, Employed at the Zhongyuan Oil Field, Arrested

Policemen from Luntai County, Kurle City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region arrested practitioner Mr. Chen Liangjun, an employee from the Henan Province Zhongyuan Oil Field and put him in the Luntai County Detention Center.

23. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wang Xiaodong from Fengrun District Arrested

Police ransacked the home of practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong from Shaojiajie Village, Sannuhe Township, Shigezhuang Town, the Fengrun District, Tangshan City at 10:00 a.m. on March 9, 2007. Police confiscated a computer, a printer and some other items worth 10,000 yuan.

Mr. Wang Xiaodong and another person were eating at a small restaurant on March 6, 2007 when the Sannuhe Village director and four policemen from the local police precinct arrived. The village director intentionally brought up the issue of quitting the Chinese Communist Party with Mr. Wang to find an excuse to arrest Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang saw through it and reprimanded the village head.

Personnel from the local police precinct broke into the home of the man who was eating at the restaurant with Mr. Wang at Tanghedian Village, Fengrun District, Tangshan City on March 7, 2007. They confiscated his computer and 6,000 yuan in cash. They also arrested the man's wife. Then they ransacked Mr. Wang's home at 10:00 a.m. on March 9, 2007.

24. [Zigong City, Sichuan Province] Police Arrest Three Practitioners from Their Homes

Police had arrested 67-year-old practitioner Ms. He Shuhua from her home in early August 2003 and released her after a month of detention. Someone reported her when she was clarifying the truth and distributing truth-clarifying materials at the Da'an District Farmer's Market in early March 2005. Personnel from the district's Lianggaoshan Police Station arrested her and held her in the Zigong City Detention Center for a month. Officers from the Gongjing District Xiaoxi Police Station arrested her at her home the afternoon of March 3, 2007. Ms. He Shuhua is presently being held at the Zigong City Detention Center. Another incident happened in 2003:

Police arrested 63-year-old practitioner Ms. Hu Shufang in a street in early August 2003 and sent her and practitioner Ms. He Shuhua to the Zigong City Detention Center for a month of imprisonment. Officers from the district's Xiaoxi Police Station arrested her again at her home the afternoon of March 3, 2007. Several policemen carried her into a police car and sent her and Ms. He into the city's detention center.

26. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor

Several practitioners arrested from Binzhou City, Shandong Province were recently sentenced to forced labor. Bincheng District 610 Office personnel in Binzhou City ordered the district's TV station to slander Dafa in their news program on March 16, 2007. They defamed the 38 arrested Dafa practitioners and spread rumors to brainwash people in Binzhou City.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Xingge from Dalian City was sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in early March 2007 for two years of forced labor. Personnel from the Dalian Bay Police Station recently notified his family that Mr. Liu Xingge's sentence was too light. They [indicated] they would take him back for a second sentence the next day.

30. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Officers from the Mudanjiang City Railway Police Division Arrested Practitioner Song Wentao

Mr. Song Wentao, about 60 years old, is a practitioner employed at the Mishan City No. 8511 Farm Coal Mine, Heilongjiang Province. Mr. Song clarified the truth to a man and gave him some truth-clarifying CDs and other materials at the end of November 2006. But when the person passed by Mudanjiang City on his way back to Tianjin, personnel from the Mudanjiang City Railway Police Division searched him and found the materials. Thus, police arrested the person who confessed that the materials were from Mr. Song. Then, personnel from the police division colluded with No. 8511 Farm 610 Office chief Chen Xiangjun. They ransacked Mr. Song's home and took him to the police division. Mr. Song has been held there since then. One of his family members went to visit him three times, but police did not permit their visits. Police ordered the family to pay them tens of thousands of yuan.

31. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Seventy-Year-Old Practitioner Kong Fanmei Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Kong Fanmei, over 70 years old, is from Hanting County in Weifang City. She went to the Hanting market to clarify the truth on March 19, 2007, but a policeman followed her to her home. Later on, several policemen arrested Kong Fanmei, searched her house and confiscated all Dafa materials at 11:00 a.m. They claimed that they wouldn't release her unless they were paid 10,000 yuan. Ms. Kong is presently being held at the Weifang Brainwashing Center.

32. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Li Shuwen Sentenced to Forced Labor; Other Practitioners are Still Being Held

Practitioner Mr. Li Shuwen, an employee from the Qiqing Mine in the Baoshan District, Shuangyashan City, was arrested and his home was searched. Policemen confiscated his laptop computer, two cell phones and some truth-clarifying materials. Practitioner Mr. Qi Wenbin from the Sifangtai District, Shuangyashan City, was arrested and many copies of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" were confiscated. Practitioner Ms. Du Jinyan from Baoqing County was arrested. They are all being held at the Shuangyashan City Detention Center.

Li Shuwen was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor, to be served at the Suihua Forced Labor Camp. His family was not informed about the verdict.

Practitioner Ms. Huang Xixiu is from Dawang Village, Chenzui Township, the Wuqing District, Tianjin. She went to electric worker Li Guosheng's home at the same village to clarify the truth on March 19, 2007, but Li Guosheng was not at home. Li's daughter-in-law was very rude and called Li Guosheng. Li Guosheng then called police and reported Ms. Huang.
