(Clearwisdom.net) On January 20, 27 and February 3 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in St. Petersburg held activities to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and to expose the atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

On January 20, the truth-clarifying activities were held on a street next to the beach to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners unfurled banners, displayed poster boards, and handed out truth-clarifying leaflets to passers-by and car drivers. A young fellow drove near to practitioners to find out more details. He was shocked by the CCP’s heinous crimes and signed the petition which calls for an end to the persecution. He also thanked the practitioners for informing him of this shocking news.
On February 3, the practitioners held truth-clarifying activities near the subway station on Citizen Street. Some of the practitioners held up banners, while some demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and others were distributing leaflets. The practitioners also made copies of the Russian version of the "Nine Commentaries of the Chinese Communist Party" available. Many pedestrians were concerned about the ongoing persecution of practitioners in China. In particular, they were shocked by the CCP’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many of the passers-by signed the petition which called for an end to the persecution. In addition, all the copies of the Nine Commentaries were taken.
A Russian senior citizen was happy to see the practitioners. He said that he had been practicing Falun Gong exercises and reading the books on his own for one year and had benefited a lot from the practice. He said that he would come to the practice site to practice the exercises and study the Fa with fellow practitioners.
