Practitioner Mr. Shi Ning used to work in Shengli Oil Field in Dongying. He was illegally imprisoned in the Penglai Detention Center on November 2, 2006, and has been so brutally tortured that his life is in danger now.

Practitioner Mr. Lu Shulin from Yushu has severe high blood pressure. A doctor diagonalized him and said Mr. Lu's health was critical. Mr. Lu has been applying to go to a hospital on bail for over a year but Jilin Prison refused to release him, saying the paperwork is not complete.

Jilin Prison recently terminated practitioner Mr. Shi Wenzhuo's visits. The prison has been brainwashing practitioners for a long time and often intensifies the torture by putting practitioners in a special monitoring program.

Sanshui Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Foshan, Guangdong Province, recently intensified its persecution against steadfast practitioners. The camp refused to let practitioners buy daily goods or use the toilets, prolonged the practitioners' terms at will, and refused to released practitioners who had served their terms. Some practitioners had to cut down on the amount of food they ate to reduce their need to use the toilet. The authorities refused to deliver several practitioners' letters, and the practitioners had no way to get in touch with their families.

6. [Sichuan Province] Five Practitioners from the Panzhihua Bureau of Mines Are Illegally Imprisoned

Between December 11 and 18, 2006, practitioners who worked in the Bureau of Mines in Panzhihua City, including Ms. Hu Xiufen, Ms. Geng Guirong, Ms. Liu Suzhen, Ms. Nie Rongjin, Ms. Zhang (first name unknown), Ms. Wang Shukun, Ms. Zhou Shutang, and Ms. Teng Changfang, were arrested by police and imprisoned. These police were from the National Security division of the Public Security Bureau in Panzhihua City, National Security division in the West District Bureau in Panzhihua City, and Mosuohe Police Station of the West District Public Safety Bureau in Panzhihua City.

In January 2007, Ms. Wang Shukun, Ms. Zhou Shutang, and Ms. Teng Changfang were released. Ms. Hu Xiufen, Ms. Geng Guirong, Ms. Liu Suzhen, Ms. Nie Rongjin, and Ms. Zhang are currently still imprisoned.

7. [Hubei Province] Practitioners Mr. Wang Shunli and Ms. Dong Fengying Are Arrested in Wuhan City

Practitioners Mr. Wang Shunli and Ms. Dong Fengying, husband and wife, were business professionals in Zhangbeixin Village, Wuhan City, Anhui Province. On November 27, 2006, under the order of the Public Safety Bureaus in Anhui Province and Hubei Province, the Wuhan City police arrested the two and took their personal computers and printers from home.

Mr. Wang was sentenced to a year in prison and is now in Hewan Forced Labor Camp in Gusaoshu, Wuhan City. It was heard that Ms. Dong was released. The details are still under investigation.

8. [Jiangsu Province] Ms. Duan Xiangdi Is Imprisoned and Tortured in the Nanjing City Brainwashing Center

Two months ago, the Nanjing City 610 Office illegally arrested" practitioner Ms. Duan Xiangdi. Her whereabouts were unknown until we recently learned that she is in the Nanjing City Brainwashing Center.

When Ms. Duan was taken to the brainwashing center, she refused to get out of the car. The Nanjing City 610 Office agents violently pulled this 70-year-old woman out of the car, causing her severe back injury. Ms. Duan is still now being tortured in the Nanjing City Brainwashing Center.

9. [Jianli County, Hubei Province] Practitioners Mr. Zheng Jinzhang and Mr. Chen Lisheng Are Unlawfully Sentenced and Tortured

Mr. Zheng Jinzhang, 40, was from Maoshi Town, Jianli County, Hubei Province. The local police arrested him on July 18, 2006, when he was in Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, distributing truth clarification materials. The police officer also went to his house and confiscated his laptop and printer. Mr. Zheng was later sentenced to eight and half years in prison and is currently imprisoned in the 4th prison in the Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

Mr. Chen Lisheng, 36, was from Maoshi Town, Jianli County, Hubei Province. When Mr. Chen was in Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, doing business in 2006, the local police lied to him that he needed to go to the police station to get his his temporary residency paperwork done. The police then forced him to write the Three Statements to renounce Falun Gong. On July 18, 2006, the police confiscated his Dafa books and materials and put Mr. Chen and his wife in prison. Mr. Chen's wife was later released but he was sentenced to three and half years and is now locked in the 2th prison in the Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

On January 21, 2007, four practitioners went to Mohu Village, Huamin Township, Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, to give out truth clarification materials. A local resident reported them to the police and the practitioners were arrested and taken to the Huamin Township Police Station. Two of the practitioners escaped that day and the other two—Tao and Jia—are currently imprisoned in the Longjiang County Detention Center.

The court didn't inform Chen's lawyer and family. Chen received the ruling on January 25. Chen appealed on February 1 and started a hunger strike to protest the persecution on January 31.

In April 2004, practitioner Mr. Du Anli was locked in the Xiaobai Building, Room 4 of the Brigade specifically designated to torture practitioners. Five police officers, each with two electronic batons, shocked Mr. Du twice a day everyday for six days. Mr. Du's hands were cuffed on the sides of a bed and he was immobilized. The police took off all Mr. Du's clothes and shocked him everywhere. There was not one spot of Mr. Du's body that wasn't injured. The police that tortured Mr. Du were Chen Wei, Song Baishun, Guan Feng, Yu Wenbo, and others.

On January 16, 2007, four practitioners in the Yakeshi area, Inner Mongolia, were arrested and their belongings were confiscated. The practitioners are currently locked in the Linye Detention Center and are not allowed family visits.

On January 29, 2007, the Beiyuan Police Station in the Tianqiao District arrested practitioner Ms. Yang Lihua. Ms. Yang was sent to a brainwashing center in Jinan City.

24. [Beijing] More Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Lin Shuying

On September 12, 2006, police arrested practitioner Ms. Lin Shuying at midnight. Ms. Lin's bedridden 87-year-old mother and five-year-old child were left uncared for. The next day Ms. Lin was transferred to the Zhaoyang Detention Center in Beijing. She was there for a month and then was sentenced to two years in prison. She was recently transferred to the 6th Brigade in the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp in Tiantanghe.

The past several years, people from the street CCP office, residential commission, national security, and police department often went to Ms. Lin's home to harass her and search her place.

Ms. Zhang Fengying and Ms. Xian Sushuang from the Fengnan District, Tangshan City, went to Zhaolinzhuang Village, Tangfang Town, Fengnan District, to clarify the truth on January 14, 2007. Hong Lihou, Director of the Tangfang Town Police Station, arrested them. Later the 610 Office locked them in the Fengnan District Police Station. They have been transferred to the Fengnan District Detention Center.

26. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Lang Dongyue Is Arrested Again

Ms. Lang Dongyue was in her 40s and was from Yanqing County, Beijing. After the persecution started in 1999, Ms. Lang was kidnapped many times. Twice she escaped and three times she was taken to forced labor camps. She was imprisoned in forced labor camps and tortured for a total of almost six years. On January 27, 2007, she was arrested again on a bus and is currently in the Yanqing County Detention Center.

In the afternoon on January 15, 2007, Li Xianyong, Deng Hongying, and Han Leling from the Chongqing Jiangbei Police Division, the Dashiba Police Station, and the Chang'an Worker's Union broke into Ms. Wu's home. These people confiscated Ms. Wu's properties, arrested Ms. Wu and Ms. Zhao Chengrong, and locked them in the Jiangbei District Detention Center.

Ms. Wu's mother learned about her daughter's arrested and got really ill in a hospital. She passed away on January 30, 2007.

At 9 a.m. on January 25, 2007, police from the Xingda Police Station arrested Ms. Cui Yanqiu from the Binhexiao District, Zhuanghe City, Dalian. Ms. Cui's belongings were confiscated immediately. Ms. Cui is currently being held in the Zhuanghe Detention Center.

On January 30, 2007, practitioner Ms. Liu Shuzhen from Chengshan Town, Zhuanghe City, went to the town hall to give out truth clarification materials. Wen (first name unknown), Secretary of the Chengshan Town, stopped her and called the police to arrest her. Later, Liu Lianshi, Secretary of the Hengfeng Commission, and three policemen went to Ms. Liu's house to confiscate her belongings including Dafa materials. At four o'clock in the afternoon, Ms. Liu was taken to the Zhuanghe Detention Center.

32. [Tianjin] Practitioner Ms. Wang Ling Is Sentenced to Three Years

Practitioner Ms. Wang Ling from Dagang Oil Field in Tianjin was arrested and locked in the Dagang District Detention Center. Ms. Wang was tortured there for seven months. On January 26, 2007, the Dagang District Court sentenced Ms. Wang to three years in a secret trial without noticing Ms. Wang's family.

33. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen Is Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen from the Anhuixiao District, Yantai City, was giving out truth clarification materials on January 31, 2007. Police from the Zhifu District Public Safety Bureau arrested her.

34. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] More Details on Four Practitioners' Arrests

In the afternoon on January 30, 2007, practitioner Mr. Wei Xingdu from the Jiawang District in Xuzhou City was arrested for posting truth clarification materials. At 5:30 p.m., nine police cars with dozens of officers went to Ms. Wei's home. Mr. Wei's wife, Ms. Lu Shouhua, also a practitioner, refused to open the door. Wang (first name unknown), a deputy director from the Xuzhou City Public Safety Bureau, ordered the officers to break down the door. Zhao Rujian, head of the Jiawang District 610 Office, participated in the process. Three hours later, officers confiscated Dafa books and materials, two computers, two printers, and two paper cutters. Mr. Wei and Ms. Lu's whereabouts are unknown. Their son, Mr. Wei Feng, was taken to the Xiaqiao Police Station and tortured for a day before his grandmother went to take him home.

After Mr. Wei and Ms. Lu were arrested, practitioners Mr. Meng Qingquan and Mr. Zhang Changjin went to the couple's house to send forth righteous thoughts at 8 p.m. The police arrested them and took them to Xuzhou and tortured them for a night. The next day they were taken to the Jiawang District. Mr. Meng and Mr. Zhang were tortured and interrogated in Daquan Police Station and Laokuang Police Station separately. That evening the two practitioners were imprisoned in the Jiawang Detention Center.

On January 31, 2007, police from the Daquan Police Station went to Mr. Meng's house to confiscate his belongings. The police went in by climbing over the wall because Mr. Meng's family refused to open the door. The police confiscated a computer, a laptop, a printer, computer accessories, truth clarification materials, and Dafa books. At the same time, officers from the Laokuang Police Station went to Mr. Zhang Changjin's house and confiscated his Dafa books and truth materials.

35. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Yuzhen Is Arrested

A police arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Yuzhen from Taoliying Village, Rengezhuang Township, Fengrun District, Tangshan City, on February 1, 2007, when she was out posting Dafa truth clarification materials. Ms. Wang is currently detained in Rengezhuang Township Hall.

36. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Imprisoned in the Dezhou City Detention Center.

At 7 p.m. on January 27, 2007, officers Li Guodong and Ye Haijun from the public safety bureau of the economic development district in Dezhou City broke into practitioner Mr. Wang Hongchun's house in Luolizhuang, Taitousi Township, Dezhou City. The police confiscated Dafa materials and a copy machine. They also arrested Mr. Wang and his wife and two other female practitioners and took them to the public safety bureau of the economical development district in Dezhou City. The four practitioners are currently in the Dezhou City Detention Center.

37. [Xi'an, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Jin Rong Is Arrested and Tortured

Police from the 771 unit arrested practitioner Ms. Jin Rong, in her 40s, in December 2006. She was detained and tortured in Lintong, Shanxi Province.

Ms. Jin obtained the Fa in 1998 and has been tortured many times since the persecution started on July 20, 1999. In 2002, she was taken to a brainwashing center and tortured for six months. In 2003, she was tortured in the Shanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp.

38. [Neijiang, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Ms. Pan Menghua and Mr. Yi Shiquan Were Arrested on January 26, 2007.

39. [Xiamen, Fujian Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Qi Is Still in a Detention Center.

On May 26, 2006, Ms. Li Qi was arrested at Dianqian Village while she was giving out truth clarification materials. Ms. Li is still in Xiamen Detention Center.

Ms. Li, 56, obtained the Fa in 2001. Ms. Li's husband, Mr. Zhang Jiaxing, 76, obtained the Fa in 1996. The couple went to Beijing to validate the Fa in 2002. They displayed a banner at Tiananmen Square and were arrested and sent back to Xiamen. Ms. Li was imprisoned in a forced labor camp for a year. Mr. Zhang was fined 8000 yuan and monitored at work for a year.

From then on, Ms. Li and Mr. Zhang were monitored by their work unit around the clock. In May 2004, Mr. Zhang was arrested. He was sentenced for five years.

40. [Chongqing] The Police Harass Practitioners

On February 1, 2007, the Zhangjia Garden Police Station in the Yuzhong District, Chongqing, mobilized a lot of police to take all practitioners in the district to the station to put down depositions and have their pictures taken. The police searched some practitioners' houses. By the time of this report, Ms. Wang Ya and another practitioner were still in the station.

Ms. Wang was once imprisoned in a forced labor camp because she went to Beijing to validate the Fa between 1999 and 2000. She was released in November 2001 but arrested again in Xiaoquan, Chongqing City, on January 2, 2002, and sentenced to three years.

Practitioner Mr. Yang Xiaoliang was arrested at work but escaped on the way to the police station. His whereabouts are unknown. The police confiscated his computer at work. Mr. Yang has a 10-year-old daughter. His wife didn't have a job. The family lived on his income in Chongqing. Mr. Yang used to be the head of the public relations department and the deputy director of the political affairs department in a company. After the persecution started, he wrote a letter to the head of the Chongqing City Commissioner to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa. He was later removed from his position and given a janitorial position. He was eventually fired. Later he made his living by teaching guitar. On July 2006, he went to work in a consulting firm for the Chongqing City construction project till he was arrested recently.

41. [Inner Mongolia] Practitioner Mr. Chen Zhanguo Is Tortured in Hongzehu Prison in Jiangsu Province

Practitioner Mr. Chen Zhanguo, 35, was a graduate from Chengdu University of Technology. He was from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, and moved to Baotou City after he graduated. In 2003, Mr. Chen was sentenced to seven years when he was in Lianyun Harbor because of his belief and is currently imprisoned in Hongzehu Prison in Jiangsu Province. In 2004, the prison guards tortured Mr. Chen because he insisted on practicing Falun Gong. He became mentally disordered because of the severe torture. The prison guards claimed that Mr. Chen was psychotic and sent him to the Nantong City Mental Hospital, where he was injected with drugs that damaged his central nervous system.

In July 1999 after the persecution started, Mr. Chen twice went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. He was locked in the Baotou Forced Labor Camp and viciously tortured. On September 18, 2000, Mr. Chen was sent to the Wuyuan Forced Labor Camp and tortured. On March 2001, in a meeting that was meant to slander and defame Falun Gong, Mr. Chen refused to denounce Falun Gong. Mu Jianfeng and others cuffed his hands behind his back openly at the meeting and beat him in public. Later Mr. Chen was taken to the 3rd brigade in the Baotou Forced Labor Camp. The guards many times beat him with plastic rods, electrically shocked him, and handcuffed him. Zhang Tiefeng, head of the management division, tied a rope around his arms and pulled him up abruptly. Mr. Chen suffered from excruciating pain in his shoulders. Officer Du Xiangyang electrically shocked Mr. Chen on his abdomen until he became incontinent. Mr. Chen's head swelled up, his face was disfigured, and he had bruises everywhere.

In 2001, Mr. Chen went back to work after he was released from the forced labor camp. His work place was planning to take him to a brainwashing center, so he had to give up his job and become homeless. Later he was arrested in Lianyun Harbor for making truth clarification materials and sentenced to seven years in prison in 2003. He is now in Hongzehu Prison in Jiangsu Province.
