Police arrested two practitioners from Shuangcheng City outside the walls of the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp on January 24, 2007. The police also arrested four practitioners from Shuangcheng City while they were waiting for a bus on the road about two kilometers away from the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. They were sent to the Xinfeng Police Station in Harbin City and have been detained to date.

3. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Li Jichang Arrested; His Family Demands His Release But is Refused
Someone reported practitioner Mr. Li Jichang from the Nanhai District to police at 9:00 a.m. on January 26, 2007 while he was clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to people in the Jiangbin Garden, Shiwan Town. Foshan City National Security Team chief Zheng Biao and Peng Xiaohong illegally arrested him. A policeman from Foshan City and two policemen from the Nanhai District’s Heshun Police Station went to the home of Li Jichang’s mother. They first asked the neighbors to sign an arrest warrant and were refused; then they asked Li Jichang’s elderly mother to sign. The mother is illiterate. The police grabbed her hand and pressed her fingerprint on the paper. Li Jichang’s mother was very angry after she found out what they were doing. She and her 85-year-old husband went to the Chancheng District Police Department, Foshan City to demand her son’s release but were refused.

4. [Chongqing] Practitioner Wu Xiaoqin’s Home Ransacked; Additional Information
An officer from the Shiqiaopu District Police Station together with a few personnel from the Street Administrative Committee broke into practitioner Ms. Wu Xiaoqin’s home the morning of January 25, 2007. They confiscated a notebook computer, a printer, a few copies of Falun Dafa books and some truth-clarifying materials. A 12-year-old girl who was at the scene was too frightened to speak. Wu Xiaoqin chose to leave home and live in exile to avoid further persecution.
Personnel from the Shiqiaopu Police Station called Wu Xiaoqin’s husband to appear on January 27 and forced him to turn Ms. Wu Xiaoqin in, and they even threatened to fire the husband from work. It caused Wu Xiaoqin’s husband such mental trauma that he is filing for divorce.
Wu Xiaoqin was arrested several times over the course of the persecution, and was once on the verge of death.

7. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Liu Yi Sentenced to Three Years of Imprisonment
Personnel from the Cangzhou City and Yanshan County police, from the Procuratorate and also persons from the judiciary authorities sentenced practitioner Mr. Liu Yi (former name Liu Tonghai) to three years of imprisonment. Liu Yi did not sign the verdict. His family members do not dare to expose the persecution under police threats.
Zhang Guofu, the Xinhua District Police Station National Security Division chief, arrested practitioner Liu Yi on April 1, 2006. The police confiscated a car, a bank deposit book recording a large sum of money and a lot other personal belongings. His family had to bribe some officials to get back some of the confiscated items.
Liu Yi is still being held at the city’s No. 2 Detention Center. During his detention, policeman Zhang Guofu even held his younger sister and elder brother for ten days when they tried to rescue Liu Yi.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Supplemental Information regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Wang Yuejian
Practitioner Mr. Wang Yuejian from Changchun City has been held over ten and a half months. The case has been in the Economics Development District Court for one and a half months.

Policeman Xiang Hongping and others from the Wendeng City 610 Office National Security Division arrested practitioner Mr. Dong Ning from Wanghainijia Village, Gaocun Town, Wendeng City at his home on January 13, 2007.
The same group arrested practitioner Mr. Guo Yongyan from Guojiadian Village, Songcun Town, Wendeng City and extorted money from his family. The Guo Yongyan couple earns money by making incense around the Chinese New Year Day to pay tuition for their son. Their arrest made their family's finances very difficult.
11. [Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Crimes of the Renmin Road Police Station
Police arrested practitioner Ms. Hu Gaoying, a former employee of the Xiangfan City Cotton Group and put her into the Zhongyuan Road Police Station on January 28, 2007. Personnel from the Renmin Road Police Station fetched her back and then transferred her to Wuhan City on January 29, 2007 for additional persecution.
Personnel from the Renmin Road Police Station ransacked the homes of nearly ten practitioners on June 20, 2006. They brought a master key and let themselves in.

12. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Zhang Lan Arrested
Policemen from the Maiji District arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Lan from the Maiji District, Tianshui City on January 27, 2007 when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is presently being held at the district’s detention center.
13. [Jilin Province] Practitioner Liu Duansheng Still Being Held at the Liaoyuan City Detention Center
Practitioner Mr. Liu Duansheng’s family in Liaoyuan City heard on January 29, 2007 that a few unlawfully-sentenced male practitioners had been sent to Siping City’s Shiling Prison on January 26. They went to visit Mr. Liu, but the prison personnel told them that they are not holding Mr. Liu there. His family members went back to the Liaoyuan City Detention Center for an explanation and eventually found out that Mr. Liu is still being held there.
Mr. Liu is in poor health, and is in the contagious phase of pulmonary tuberculosis. Because of this, the detention authorities are forbidding his family’s visit [as a precaution].

15. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Personnel from the Babaishang Police Department Arrest Practitioner Zhao Changjiang
Personnel from the Security Section of the Daqing City Natural Gas Company colluded with several officers including Zhou from the Babaishang Police Department. They broke into the Technical Team of the Mechanical Factory in that company, arrested Mr. Zhao Changjiang and took him to the police station at 9:00 a.m. on January 29, 2007. Later on, they broke into Zhao Changjiang's home and ransacked the place. They confiscated a computer, several Dafa books, some truth-clarifying materials and a cell phone. Mr. Zhao has been sent to the Longfeng Detention Center.
Mr. Zhao clarified the truth of Falun Gong to the factory party secretary Yang Wenfeng. Yang accepted the truth-clarifying materials at that time but later on degraded Mr. Zhao from the position of a technician to a lathe worker, the lowest level, though there has not been a lathe worker position for a long time.

16. [Wangqing County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Wang Chunlong and His Wife Yan Gui’e Arrested
Someone reported practitioner Mr. Wang Chunlong and his wife Ms. Yan Gui’e from the Longquanping Village in Wangqing County when they were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong at a market in Wangqing County. Consequently, personnel from the National Security Division of the county police department arrested them at 10:00 a.m. on January 24, 2007. They are presently being held at the county detention center.
17. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Hu Yansheng Arrested
Ms. Hu Yansheng, in her 50s, is an employee of the Siyi Factory in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. She was arrested on January 28, 2007 when clarifying the truth of Falun Gong around the Fangshan Area and is presently being held at the Dongyue Police Station. About five officers including the police station chief surnamed Pi and Siyi Factory Security Section chief Han Jiugui ransacked Ms. Hu's home and confiscated several Dafa books and some truth-clarifying materials.
Ms. Hu has been arrested three times and twice sentenced to forced labor. Her husband couldn't stand this latest trauma and became bedridden. Their middle-school-aged daughter has to fend for herself.

18. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Ye Zhenghui and Mao Dexing Still Imprisoned
A Mishan City Court agent didn't render a trial verdict for practitioners Mr. Mao Dexing and Mr. Ye Zhenghui on January 12, 2007. Their cases have been deferred to the Political and Judiciary Committee in Mishan City.
19. [Chongqing] Practitioners Including Yu Xiurong Persecuted
Police arrested practitioner Ms. Yu Xiurong from Changshou District, Chongqing at 3:50 p.m. on January 21, 2007 when she was posting Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials in Duzhou Town, Changshou District. They ransacked her home and confiscated many Dafa books and materials. Ms. Yu is presently being held at the Sanhao Detention Center in Duzhou Town.
In addition, practitioner Ms. Xiao Huijuan from the Changshou District was arrested again after having been released in August 2006.
20. [Zoucheng City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Including Jiang Luokui from the Yan Mine Group Arrested
Personnel from the Zoucheng City Police Department and Jidong Police Station affiliated with the Jining City Police Department arrested several practitioners and ransacked their homes on January 27, 2007. The arrested practitioners include Ms. Jiang Guimei, Mr. Jiang Luokui and Mr. Song Chengkui. They are being held at either the Zoucheng City Detention Center or the Jining City Detention Center.
The 610 Office personnel are planning to sentence practitioners Jiang Luokui and Song Qingkui to forced labor.
