1. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Liu Yongwang Severely Abused
After being illegally sentenced to prison in Baoding City, Hebei Province, Mr. Liu Yongwang has been held in No. 1 Branch Team in Jidong Prison, Hebei Province. He has been force-fed since May 2005. He only weighs about 80 pounds.
2. [Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yuan and Mr. Li Lianjun Persecuted in Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp
Practitioners in the Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp have been forced to sit on hard stools for two hours in the morning and then two hours in the afternoon. Mr. Liu Yuan and Mr. Li Lianjun resisted this unreasonable demand. Labor camp guards handcuffed and shackled the two practitioners for several hours a day. Since seeing his family on August 5, 2007, Mr. Liu Yuan has been under intense persecution. Last month he was tied in a bed for over 20 days so that he could not move.
3. [Liaoning Province] Mr. Hu Zhiming Cannot Walk on His Own as a Result of Persecution
Mr. Hu Zhiming is a graduate student in a master's degree program at the Beijing Air Force Command Center. He is from Dandong City, Liaoning Provinc,e and is being held at the Nanshan Prison in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. To resist severe persecution, he has been on hunger strike for many days. He cannot walk on his own. He has been taken to the prison hospital.
4. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners, Including Ms. Li Yun, Unlawfully Detained
At 2:00 p.m. on November 20, 2007, four practitioners in Guanghan City, including Ms. Li Yun and a practitioner with the surname Fu, were turned in to the authorities while they were clarifying the truth in Sanshui Town. They were taken to the Guanghan City Detention Center. Members of the Guanghan City 610 Office searched the four practitioners' homes that night and confiscated Falun Dafa books and other materials.
5. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Haiqing and Other Practitioners Forced to Leave Home
The beginning of November 2007, Sheng Wanbo (male) and other police officers in Anqiu City, broke into Ms. Wang Haiqing's home again. Ms. Wang happened to be away, so the police took into custody her non-practitioner husband instead. The officers took possession of a DVD writer, a printer, a computer, and other items. The police also broke into Ms. Sun Yufen's home to arrest her. Ms. Sun escaped by jumping out the window. The police confiscated her Falun Dafa and truth-clarification materials. Ms. Wang and Ms. Sun have been forced to leave town and have no place to stay.
In addition, over 39 practitioners, including Ms. Tian Yufen, Ms. Wang Yulan, Mr. Yu Wenchen, and Mr. Suxiao, have been taken into custody and held at the Anqiu Detention Center.

Since June 2007, police in Qidong County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, have taken into custody numerous practitioners, including: Mr. Kuang Zongyao (56 years old), Mr. Kuang Sen (in his 40s), Ms. Tan Luyun, Mr. Peng Fayang, Ms. Peng Shumei, Ms. Peng Fang, Ms. Zou Fangmei, Ms. Tan Cuixiu, Ms. Tan Yuxiu (58 years old), Ms. He Qionghui (38 years old), Ms. Xiao Luyun (54 years old), Ms. Deng Caiyun, Ms. Wang Meihua (58 years old), Ms. Lin Fenxiu, Ms. Xiao Shuyun, Ms. Peng Xixiu, and Ms. Zhou Huali. Among the practitioners taken into custody, Mr. Kuang Sen was beaten for seven days in a row; Ms. Peng Fang was beaten to the verge of death; Ms. Xiao Shuyun was handcuffed to a window bar for 48 hours; and Ms. Peng Xixiu was beaten until she was bruised and injured everywhere. Mr. Kuang Zongyao has been "illegally sentenced" to one year of forced labor, Ms. Tan Cuixiu to half a year, and Ms. He Qionghui to half a year. Ms. Wang Meihua was released after her family had "20,000" yuan extorted from them. Some practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] The Persecution of Mr. Lu Fan
On the afternoon of October 31, 2007, a dozen police officers from the Changle Police Department and the Tangwu Police Station broke into practitioner Mr. Lu Fan's home in North Tangwu Village. The officers took into custody Mr. Lu and his daughter. The officers ransacked the place and confiscated Falun Dafa books, MP3 players, and portraits of the founder of Falun Gong. Mr. Lu Fan was held at the Tangwu Police Station for a day and then was taken to the Changle Detention Center. His family has been denied visits. His daughter was taken to Anqiu City, Shandong Province. She was later released after her family had 300 yuan extorted from them.
13. [Jiaocheng County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Aiying and Ms. Lu Meiying Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Chen Aiying and Ms. Lu Meiying, both in their 50s, are practitioners in Chengguan Town, Jiaocheng County. In April 2007, they were taken into custody by the Jiaocheng County 610 Office and officers of the domestic security division. After being held at the detention center for a month, they were sentenced to one year of forced labor in May 2007. Ms. Chen and Ms. Lu are being held at the Xindian Women's Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

On November 16, 2007, Ms. Li Guangzhi, around 70 years old, was taken into custody by the 610 Office. She is being held at a building across from the district broadcasting company. The officials of the 610 Office are working on "transforming" her.
16. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Sun Yanfang and Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
At noon on October 7, 2007, Jie Bin (male), commissioner of Taiguzhuang Township in Shenzhou City; Kai Bin (male), head of the the Judicial Agency; and a dozen other people were led by Zhao Juanlin (male), Party Secretary of Gaozhaoquan Village, and Gao Junqian (male), a security official, to the homes of practitioner Ms. Sun Yanfang and non-practitioner Mr. Jia Yunbo. The officers broke into the homes, confiscated two satellite antennas and Falun Dafa books. They took Ms. Sun and Mr. Jia into custody. The police also broke into several other practitioners' homes. Also taken into custody were practitioners Ms. Qiuye and Mr. Zhonghuai (surnames unknown) in Makou Village, Dadi Township. They were taken to the Shenzhou City Detention Center. Satellite antennas, Falun Dafa books, and truth clarification materials were confiscated from their homes.
Prior to the Communist Party's National Congressional meeting in mid-October, the police broke into Ms. Ma Wenju's home, confiscated Falun Dafa books, and took her into custody. The police tried to extort cash from her family but were not successful. They have unlawfully held Ms. Ma in custody to this day.

17. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Details on Ms. Liu Xiuzhen and Her Elder Sister Being Taken into Custody
On November 8, 2007, the police searched Ms. Liu Xiuzhen (in her 70s) and her elder sister's homes in Qili Village upon receiving reports that the sisters were distributing truth-clarification materials. The police first searched Ms. Liu's elder sister's home. When the police came to Ms. Liu's home, she refused to cooperate. Her non-practitioner son, Mr. Huang Jiayong, tried to prevent the officers from taking her away. The officers took him away and severely beat him. Mr. Huang could not raise one of his arms. The officers then threatened him to not contact practitioners. Due to the vehement protests of his family, the police eventually released him.
18. [Tianjin] Mr. Lu Yuqing and Ms. He Shuqin Unlawfully Taken into Custody
On November 21, 2007, Mr. Lu Yuqing and Ms. He Shuqin in the Hexi District were taken into custody while they were visiting fellow practitioner Ms. Fei Yuqing, who had just been released on medical parole. It is said that Mr. Lu and Ms. He are being held in Liulin Police Station.
19. [Beijing] Mr. Fu Jiangying Confirmed to Have Been Held at Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing after Going Missing Several Months Ago
20. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Student Mr. He Gengqing Persecuted
Mr. He Gengqing, from Shalang Town, Dianbai County, Maoming City, was a student at Zhanjiang Ocean University in Guangdong Province. After he went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong in November 1999, he was held in Zhanjiang Detention Center. Because he continued to cultivate, he was dismissed from the university. In January 2001, when he went out of town to clarify the truth, he was taken back to Maoming City and held in custody. He was subsequently sentenced to eleven years and sent to Yangjiang Prison. His term was reduced by a few years, and it should have ended November 2007. When his family demanded his release, the officials of the Dianbai County 610 Office refused to release him.
21. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Shiwen Held at Yangyuan Brainwashing Center
Ms. Li Shiwen, 64, lives in the residential community of the Wuhan Heavy Machinery Factory in the Shahu area of Wuhan City. On the evening of November 18, 2007, she was posting leaflets with information on withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The security guards found her and called the police. Ms. Li was taken to the Dongting Police Station. On November 19, she was taken to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.

22. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] 70-Year-Old Ms. Liu Yuejing Fed Unknown Substance in Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center
On September 30, 2007, Ms. Liu Yuejing, a 70-year-old practitioner, went to distribute truth-clarification materials in the Hanyang District, Wuhan City. She was taken to the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City. The officials deprived her of sleep, forced her to stand for a prolonged period of time, and prohibited her from sitting down. During that time, elderly Ms. Liu suffered discomfort and whenever she ate, she threw up. Due to her extremely poor physical condition, she has been released.
23. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhang Yongqing and Mr. Zhou Lianhe Face Unlawful Sentences
Mr. Zhang Yongqing and Mr. Zhou Lianhe are practitioners in Ji County, Tianjin. They were taken into custody while spray painting truth clarification signs. The Ji County Court have been planning on sentencing the two practitioners to prison.

24. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yao Shuzhen Held at Baoqing County Detention Center
Around November 15, 2007, Ms. Yao Shuzhen, a practitioner in the Baoqing area of Jiamusi City, went to clarify the truth to local police officers of the Longtou Township Police Station. Officers of the Baoqing County Police Department and the local police station took her into custody. Ms. Yao is being held in the Baoqing County Detention Center.

In mid-October 2007, Ms. Song Lifang was taken into custody by domestic security agents. She remains in custody at the Botou Detention Center. Ms. Song has refused to cooperate with lawless officials in the detention center and has demanded an unconditional release.

26. [Tianjin] Ms. Lang Yunhuan and Another Practitioner Taken into Custody
At around 9:00 a.m. on November 20, 2007, Ms. Lang Yunhuan from Wanxin Village in the Hedong District of Tianjin and another practitioner were distributing truth clarification materials. They were spotted and taken into custody by the police. In the past few days the police have also searched Ms. Lang's home.
27. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wu Yuying and Ms. Li Xuejie Taken into Custody
At around 3:00 p.m. on November 12, 2007, practitioners Ms. Wu Yuying and Ms. Li Xuejie were turned in to the police by associate officers. Officers from the Changhong Police Station subsequently took the two practitioners into custody at the police station. Ms. Wu and Ms. Li are being held at the Jiamusi City Detention Center. At around 8:00 p.m. on November 12, officers of the Changhong Police Station confiscated Falun Dafa books from Ms. Li's home. The officers then went to another practitioner's home and confiscated the practitioner's Falun Dafa books.

28. [Tianjin] Practitioner Mr. Yang Yongjian Taken into Custody
On the morning November 19, 2007, Mr. Yang Yongjian from the Dagang District in Tianjin was heading to Hainan Province as a delegate from his work unit. He was taken into custody at the Tianjin Airport. At 7:00 p.m. on November 20, the police got Mr. Yang's home address from his son and went to search it. When Mr. Yang's son tried to persuade the police not to conduct the search, the officers shoved and cursed him. A dozen police officers confiscated Mr. Yang's truth clarification DVDs and portraits of the founder of Falun Gong. At 9:00 p.m. that same night, the officers took Mr. Yang Yongjian's son to the police station, forced him to sign paperwork, and held him there until 1:00 a.m. before releasing him.
Mr. Yang Yongjian is now being held at the Gangbei Police Station in the Dagang area in Tianjin.
29. [Shaanxi Province] Crimes Committed by Officials at Shaanxi Provincial Women's Prison
Ms. Wang Hong, unlawfully held at the Shaanxi Women's Prison, was found to have the latest articles written by the founder of Falun Dafa. The guards tried to figure out where the articles were from, but Ms. Wang refused to provide information. As a result, she was tied with ropes and suspended off the floor for eight days and seven nights. She was deprived of sleep around the clock. Her feet swelled so much that she could not put on shoes. She was later locked in the basement.
Ms. Zhang Jie was also found with new articles written by Falun Dafa's founder. She was forced to stand for 13 consecutive days since she refused to tell the guards from whom she received the articles.
Ms. Xu Mingxia has been beaten, slapped in the face, and punched and kicked by inmates who acted under the instigation of prison guards.
Ms. Ma Yunhua has been held upstairs. The guards do not allow her to go to the dining hall for meals. She has also been deprived of sleep around the clock and forced to stand all the time. Four designated people have been assigned to keep an eye on her.
30. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Ms. Ai Lihua and Her Husband Taken into Custody
At around 10:00 p.m. on November 18, 2007, six officers, including Li Jing (male), head of the Political Security Section in the Dongliao County Police Station, broke into the home of practitioners Ms. Ai Lihua and her husband, Mr. Gu Junqing, in Group No. 4, Yima Village, Anshu Town. The officers took the couple to the county police department. At 2:00 a.m. on November 19, the two practitioners were taken to the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. Ms. Ai's home has been left unattended.
On November 6, 2007, Ms. Yang Suqiu, a peasant in Group No. 6 in Cailan Village, Anshu Town, Dongliao County, was taken into custody by officers from the Anshu Town Police Affairs Office and those from the Baiquan Police Agency. Ms. Yang was initially taken to the police agency, then sent to the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. Ms. Wang Yulan and Ms. Yu Dianfan from Dongliao County are also being held there.
31. [Taibai County, Shaanxi Province] Brainwashing Sessions Held in Forest Park Hotel to Persecute Practitioners
32. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Kepeng Taken into Custody
On July 16, 2007, Mr. Zhang Kepeng in Baoji City was taken into custody by the police while he was using a computer in an Internet café. His whereabouts are unknown. Mr. Zhang Kepeng was sentenced to two years in prison with a suspension of four years by the Weibin District Court in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province.
33. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Lin Xiuzhu Taken into Custody
On the afternoon of November 18, 2007, Ms. Lin Xiuzhu, an accountant in a gas station west of Laiyang City, was taken by members of the Laiyang City 610 Office to a brainwashing center located in the Laiyang Communist Party School.
34. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Facts of Persecution on Ms. Yin Lianhua
On January 15, 2004, Ms. Yin Lianhua in Taoxu Town, Mengyin County, was taken to the town's government building and then sent to the county 610 Office for brainwashing. Ms. Yin was held in a cold, tiny room which she could not leave. Ms. Yin was deprived of sleep and food. She was also forced to crouch down or stand up for extended hours. Her family could not bear her suffering. They ended up paying 6000 yuan to the police in exchange for Ms. Yin's release during the holiday season around the lunar Chinese New Year's Day on January 22, 2004.
