(Clearwisdom.net) Before the Seventh Congress, many practitioners in my area were secretly monitored and threatened, and coordinator A was illegally detained in a detention center.
We calmed ourselves down to study the Fa and search for loopholes as individuals and as an entire body. We realized that, as the environment relaxed, everyone developed varying degrees of laziness. We did not do the three things well, and many practitioners developed attachments to a happy and joyous life. We relaxed our righteous thoughts and could not send righteous thoughts each day on time, much less send righteous thoughts in our free time. Moreover, we did not have enough compassion among practitioners. We would blame each other whenever something cropped up. Our intolerance of each other gave the evil loopholes to take advantage of.
Practitioner B suggested that in order to rescue practitioner A, we would have to find A's mother or daughter, and have them come with us to the Public Security Bureau to demand A's release. A was not from our local area, and her husband (also a practitioner) has very strong attachments to fear. He was unable to obtain A's family's support and was very passive. In the end, practitioner A was persecuted for a prolonged period of time.
At around 8 a.m. on November 12, practitioner A's mother finally came. Practitioner B traveled to the Public Security Bureau's 610 Office to personally demand her release, while notifying other practitioners to send righteous thoughts to support her. Everyone who could went to the Public Security Bureau to send righteous thoughts. Those who could not go also sent out very strong righteous thoughts from their homes to eliminate all of the evil factors obstructing A's release. They had the righteous thought, "Practitioner A has to be immediately released unconditionally."
Practitioner B studies the Fa very regularly and has a very righteous mind, "I'm here to clarify the truth, and I'm here to save sentient beings, including policemen like you." Practitioner B asked for Master's support from his heart and sent out very strong righteous thoughts. With a smile, he looked straight into the 610 Office Chief's eyes and told him that Falun Gong is good, "Falun Gong is good for the country and its people. It has already spread to over 80 countries around the world." He also spoke about Jiang Zemin and the government's mistake, how the persecution has brought about huge economic losses, the truth about the Tiananmen Massacre; how the CCP has poisoned many sentient beings; how the former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji highly affirmed the benefits of Falun Gong to the country and its people during the April 25, 1999 appeal; the CCP's harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit; how the CCP has been condemned by the heavens; how the billion year old fossil with the words "Death to the CCP" has emerged in Guizhou Province; and how millions of people have withdrawn from the Party since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Practitioner B was very righteous and compassionate. The initially cold 610 Office Chief was utterly moved by B and poured tea for A's mother. He asked them to return at 3 p.m. and left his contact information.
At around 11:40 a.m., we received a call and were told that we'd have to pay 3,000 yuan if we wanted practitioner A to be released. We shared our understandings and came to an agreement that we could not give up any more blood to the 610 Office. At around 1 p.m., we received another call asking us to go there again. It was still before work time, and we were puzzled why we were asked to go at that time. We realized that it must be that they were trying to extort money from us and pocket it themselves. Practitioner B realized that we had to use this chance to clarify the truth well.
Practitioner B went to the Public Security Bureau again with A's mother. Other practitioners continued to send strong righteous thoughts to strengthen practitioner B. Practitioner B focused more on the law of reward and retribution, and encouraged them to do more good deeds for good rewards and did not mention the money at all. After more than an hour of truth clarification, the evil was completely disintegrated. After Practitioner B and A's mother returned home, we received a call in less than five minutes telling us to come and take A home. In this way, practitioner A got out of the detention center righteously.
Summarizing this lesson, we have learned to never relax at any time and constantly maintain righteous thoughts and actions. Also, whenever problems arises among practitioners, we cannot point fingers at each other. Instead, we should study the Fa calmly, harmonize the situation, and treat everything with compassion.
