(Cleawrisdom.net) Saturday, November 17, 2007, was the 18th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, during which communism fell in the former Czechoslovakia. Eighty members of the European Divine Land Marching Band, musicians who also practice Falun Gong, gathered in Prague. Their aim was to alert the public to the CCP's abuse of human rights in China. The march, which was led by the Divine Land Marching Band, was supported also by the Czech and Slovak practitioners of Falun Gong who took this special opportunity to support the large number of Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.
Since 1999, Falun Gong has been severely persecuted in China. Many thousands
of peaceful people who practice Falun Gong were detained in force labor camps,
where their organs were forcibly harvested from their bodies while they were
still alive and the organs were then sold for profit. A detailed report about

Some members of the band suffered torture in China themselves. Some of them have
relatives and friends that are still detained in the labor camps.
The march, which started at the Old Town Square, went through the center of
Prague through Venceslas Square and Charles' Bridge to the Prague Castle, the
main residence of the Czech President, Mr. Vaclav Klaus. The sacred and solemn
sound of the Divine Land Marching Band led some passers-by to stop and listen to
the music, others read the flyers or even joined the rally. Some of the
bystanders were visibly touched and expressed their wholehearted support of the
activity. Falun Gong practitioners and the principles of Truthfulness,
Compassion and Forbearance, were warmly welcomed in Prague.
