(Clearwisdom.net) On September 26, 2007, the National Ilan Commercial Vocational High School held its annual "Societies and Clubs Exhibition," which is a grand occasion for all students attending the school. The Falun Gong Club displayed many materials and handed out bookmarks to introduce Falun Dafa at its booth. Since the club had already held performances to welcome new students on September 12, this was the second time that students at the Falun Gong Club could display the beauty of Falun Dafa and expose the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to the teachers and students.
A Teacher surnamed Gao said that when the Falun Gong Club was set up in February 2003, 95 students immediately registered to join. There were seven activities each semester, each taking two hours. The students who are club members spend their noon break times studying the Fa and doing the exercises. Though the time spent talking was limited, this group of students' cultivation experience sharing really touched this Teacher. Many students said that after practicing Falun Gong, they felt more energetic than before, and have became noticeably calmer, so they are more attentive in classes.
Another teacher commented that students who have learned and practiced Falun Gong seem relatively cheerful and easy-going. They are considerate of others, and volunteer to help others. They also get along well with other students in the school. Several students who often read Zhuan Falun have attained outstanding academic scores. Several teachers believe that the influence of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" is the major reason that these students are diligent in study, have good moral character and have an excellent school performance.
Falun Gong Clubs in both the National Ilan Commercial Vocational High School and Lo Tung Senior High School in Ilan County have flourished. They both took part in the 2004 Ilan County High School Societies and Clubs Exhibition and presented themselves to people from all walks of life, earning praise and respect.
