Seven officers including Huang Jianliang from the Peishan Town Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Ma Xiaoying from a town in Yi County on October 7, 2007. They beat her so severely that she could not open her mouth. She was later taken to the county's detention center. Ms. Ma is extremely weak and has difficulty walking, but police still will not release her.

3. [Huili County, Sichuan Province] Incidents of Persecution Regarding Several Practitioners

Police officers Liu Jianping and Jiang Fengliang from the National Security Division ransacked practitioner Mr. Zhao Guowei's home on October 8, 2007. They confiscated an MP3 and an MP4 player and then put Mr. Zhao into a detention center.

Practitioners Ms. Liu Shaofang and Ms. Zhang Yongzhen from Shengli Village, Waibei Township, were arrested and their satellite receiver used to view New Tang Dynasty TV programs were confiscated on October 13, 2007.

About 30 officers from the National Security Division went to Mr. Gao Guangchong's home at the Guoyuan Township's Jiubangliu Group on October 14, 2007. They confiscated a satellite receiver and a TV from his home and arrested him. This was Mr. Gao's 11th arrest.

Seven officers from the National Security Division went to practitioner Mr. Xu Mingqing's home at Shaba Village's No.5 Group in Laojie Township on October 15, 2007. They confiscated his satellite receiver, a TV, and a computer, and arrested him.

Personnel from the National Security Division and from the Village and Community Residential Committee harassed about 40 practitioners in their homes in Huili County between October 8 and October 15, 2007.

4. [Beijing] Several Two Practitioners Arrested

Thirty-eight-year-old practitioner Mr. Li from the Chaoyang District in Beijing was arrested from his business booth in a clothing market at 7:00 p.m. on October 17, 2007. Police ransacked his home that night and confiscated a computer and a printer. Ms. Li is presently being held at the district's detention center, room 303.

Practitioner Mr. Lang Chunxi, 35 years old, was arrested from his home at 10:00 p.m. on October 17, 2007. Police confiscated a computer and took him to the district's detention center.

5. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Chonghui Arrested

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Han Chonghui from his home in Panjin City and ransacked the place at 4:00 p.m. on October 9, 2007. Mr. Han is presently being held at the city's detention center.

6. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Seventeen Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor

Eighteen practitioners were taken to a forced labor camp on October 16, 2007. The officials refused to accept one of the women because of her poor health. She has been released.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Chenhua's Home Ransacked

Personnel from the Ganjingzi District's Dalianwan Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Li Chenhua and ransacked her home on October 20, 2007. Ms. Li has been released. Police officers searched for truth clarification material production centers. Several other practitioners' homes were also ransacked that day.

8. [Xifeng County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Guoquan Arrested

Personnel from the National Security Division arrested Mr. Yang Guoquan from Songshu Village, Gaojiadian Town, Xifeng County on October 8, 2007. They confiscated some Dafa books and a few exercise tapes. Mr. Yang is presently being held at the county's detention center.

9. [Jizhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qiao Huarong Arrested

Personnel from the Jizhou City Police Department's Political and Security Section arrested practitioner Ms. Qiao Huarong from the Jizhong School at 10:00 p.m. on October 19, 2007. Ms. Qiao is presently being held at a detention center.

Police also harassed practitioner Mr. Shi Wenjie at his home that night.

10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Yihong Arrested

Personnel from the Congxi Police Station in Congtai District, Handan City, broke into practitioner Ms. Zhao Yihong's home and arrested her the morning of October 16, 2007. Ms. Zhao is presently being held at the city's No.1 Detention Center.

11. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners from Zhuozhou City were arrested the night of October 14, 2007. They were Ms. Gao Chunlian, Ms. Xing Cuihua, Mr. Dong Hanjie, Mr. Ren Baokun, Mr. Liu Wen, Mr. Yu Wendong, and Ms. Wang Shuying. In addition, practitioners Ms. Zhang Chunfang, Mr. Ji Shenghua and Ms. Ti Hongyan are presently being held at a detention center.

12. [Shunping County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Zhongji's Home Ransacked

Personnel from the Shunping County Police Department's National Security Division arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Zhongji, a retired employee from the county's government, on September 26, 2007. They confiscated a laptop computer. Mr. Liu escaped and now lives in exile. Police monitor his home and have tried to coerce his wife into telling them where he is.

13. [Shandong Province] Mr. Qiu Zhufeng Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Qiu Zhufeng, an employee from the Shenli Oil Field's Dense Oil Factory, went to validate Dafa in Beijing in October 2000. He was later sent into a brainwashing center. Recently, he and his non-practitioner girl friend traveled to Nanjing City and also distributed some truth clarification materials, but the police followed him and arrested him. He is presently being held at a detention center in Nanjing City.

14. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zheng Wanyin Held at a Brainwashing Center

Personnel from the Zhengjia Town Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Zheng Wanyin from his home and took him to the Liaocheng City Brainwashing Center the end of September 2007. Police also ransacked his home.

15. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. He Kunlun and His Wife, Zhou Shenghua, Arrested

Personnel from the Jiaozhou City's Zhongyun Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. He Kunlun and his wife, Ms. Zhou Shenghua, from Jiaozhou City the afternoon of October 14, 2007. Their first-grade child is at home without care.

16. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ding Xiulan Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Ding Xiulan, 67 years old, is a retired employee from the Boshan Porcelain Factory in the Wuxiangyang District. Personnel from the Zibo City 610 Office arrested her and fined her 3,000 yuan in May 2007. Personnel from the Boshan 610 Office arrested her again the end of September. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Dangshan City, Anhui Province] Police Arrested Ms. Cai

Practitioner Ms. Cai was on a the train from Shanghai to Dangshan City on October 19, 2007, when police officers from Bengbu City arrested her. Policemen from her hometown arrested her non-practitioner husband and held him for several hours. They also harassed her son, Mr. Mao Long, at his hair-design shop.

18. [Xiao County, Anhui Province] Mr. Liu Fating Arrested

Police broke into practitioner Mr. Liu Fating's home and ransacked it on October 16, 2007. They arrested him and his wife and ordered his son to pay 60,000 yuan.

19. [Yibin City, Sichuan Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners from Yibin City were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on October 11, 2007. They were Mr. Guo Hui, Mr. Liao Chuanjiang, Mr. He Wentao, Mr. He Yong, and Ms. Zhang Zhengmin.

20. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] The Persecution of Ms. Yan Xiuzhen

Officials from the Sichuan Province's Chemical Company colluded with personnel from the district's 610 Office. They have suspended practitioner Ms. Yan Xiuzhen's allowance of 200 yuan since May 2007. They recently stopped Ms. Yan's pension, which totaled about 1,000 yuan per month.

Personnel from the company arrested practitioner Ms. Bai Yuyun while she was taking a walk with her husband. The company officials also assign some people to monitor practitioners. Consequently, several practitioners live in exile.

21. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Officials from the City's Railway Company Harass Ms. Deng Yuqun's Mother

Practitioner Ms. Deng Yulian was tortured to death. Ms. Deng Yuqun lives in exile. Officials from the Changsha City Railway Company keep harassing their 70-year-old mother and their brother.

22. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Xifeng Arrested and Her Home Ransacked

Ms. Wu Xifeng was arrested at 9:00 a.m. on October 20, 2007, when she was posting persecution truth clarification materials in Xihuer Street. Police took her to the Longwangshan Drug Rehabilitation Center and ransacked her home. They confiscated some Dafa books and materials.

Practitioner Ms. Deng Rongfang used to be an official from the Fangchengguang City Harbor Bureau in Guangxi Autonomous Region. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 1999 for appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing. She was again sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2001. Ms. Deng was arrested again in September 2007 and put into a brainwashing center.

26. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shumei from Gutian No.4 Street in the Qiaokou District, Wuhan City, was arrested at the district's park the morning of October 10, 2007. Two older female practitioners were also arrested. Police ransacked Ms. Zhang's home that afternoon.

Mr. Zhou from the Hanyang District, Wuhan City was arrested on October 9, 2007. He is presently being held at the Taojialing Detention Center.

Personnel from the Gaozhou City's Nankuang Police Station arrested 40-year-old practitioner Ms. Li Jianying from her parents' home on October 19, 2007. They also ransacked her brother's home and confiscated all the truth clarification materials that she had given to her brother.

31. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Police Arrested More Than Ten Practitioners

Police officers from the Xiaochengzi District in Baoqing County broke into practitioner Ms. Yuan Meirong's home the morning of September 28, 2007. They arrested her and ransacked her home. They also photographed Ms. Yuan and forced her family to sign a document. They also harassed practitioners Ms. Zhao Fengying, Ms. Liu Junying, Mr. Meng Xianguo, Mr. Wang Yarong, Ms. Liu Chunyun, Ms. Yang, Ms. Chang Ping, and Ms. Pu Mingxia from Yihe Village. Officers from Shuangyashan City harassed practitioners Mr. Fei Jinrong, Ms. Dong and Ms. Chi Xiuju.

Hongxinglong Court agents held a secret trial and sentenced Ms. Zheng Cuimei to five year in prison; Ms. Zhao Yan, three years; Ms. Yu Lianfang, three years; Ms. Ma Ling, three years; Ms. Lin Yuzhen, three and a half years; and Ms. Zhao Yunfeng, two years. Ms. Zhao Yunfeng is presently being held at the Hongxinglong Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Yue'e and Ms. Sun Hong are presently being held at the Xigemu Forced Labor Camp.

32. [Changchun City, Jiling Province] Ten Practitioners Held at the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp

About ten practitioners are presently being held at the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. They are Mr. Chu Guiyan, Mr. Li Xiaoguang, Mr. Yang Mingjiu, Mr. Sun Changping, Mr. Zhou Guanyu, Mr. Gao Song, Mr. Zhang Fuqing and Mr. Qian Gentai. Mr. Chu should have been released on September 29, 2007, but the persecutors extended his term.

They confiscated a computer, a printer, and all Dafa books and materials. Five other practitioners were arrested at the same time. Several practitioners are presently being held at the county's detention center.

Ms. Li Fengyun, in her 60s, went out to distribute Falun Gong truth clarification materials at 8:00 a.m. on October 9, 2007. She did not return home that day. Personnel from the Guangming Police Station in the Zhong District in Zaozhuang City ransacked her home at 3:00 p.m. on October 9, 2007. They confiscated all Dafa books and extorted 400 yuan from her. Ms. Li was taken to a detention center the afternoon of October 10, 2007, and had 100 yuan extorted from her. Family visits were denied.

Ms. Wang Fengying, Mr. Gao, Mr. Li Zhonghua, Ms. Sun Youzhen, Ms. Zhou Guirong, and Ms. Yu Shuqin, are presently being held at the Hailin Forest Bureau's Detention Center. Ms. Li was tied to a hard board for practicing the Falun Gong exercises. Ms. Yu was shackled for doing the exercises.

Personnel from the Dehui City National Security Division broke into a practitioner's store and confiscated a desktop computer, a laptop computer,, more than ten Dafa books, a printer and several thousand yuan in cash at 10:00 p.m. on June 20, 2007. His non-practitioner wife was also arrested. The reason given for the arrest was that the practitioner had visited the Epochtimes.com website. The practitioner was held for 15 days and then released after being fined 5,000 yuan. Local police officers went to visit his home during the October 1 holidays, but he was not at home. The police instead arrested his mother and confiscated his MP4 player and fined the family 1,000 yuan. His mother was eventually released.

42. [Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Personnel from the Qixingpao Police Station followed and then arrested Ms. Liu Hui (in her 30s) and Ms. Zhu Yamei from the Qixingpao Farm the end of August 2007. They were taken to the Jiushan Forced Labor Camp and then transferred to a forced labor camp in Qiqihar City on October 1, 2007.

44. [Beijing] Several Practitioners Arrested

Personnel from the Yuegezhuang Police Station arrested brothers Mr. Tao Fuchun and Mr. Tao Fuming on September 13, 2007. They forced the brothers to tell them information about other practitioners, which the brothers did. This led to the arrests of 13 practitioners. They were Ms. Li Yan, Mr. Yao Yufeng, Ms. Ye Hong, Ms. Ma, Mr. Liu Kejie, Ms. Cao Shuxian, Ms. Song Minhui, Ms. Yang Guiyin, Mr. Sun Guangyu, and Mr. Sun Hongyuan. Mr. Sun Guangyu and Mr. Sun Hongyuan are presently being held at the Haidian District Detention Center. Mr. Tao Fuchun is being held at the Fengtai District Detention Center.

45. [Tianjin] Ms. Pang Fengmei from the Zhongjia Garden Community in the Hongqiao District Arrested the Morning of October 11, 2007

Policemen from the Mentougou and Daxing Districts arrested Ms. Lu Kunying from her home on October 19, 2007. They ransacked her home and confiscated some truth clarification materials and VCDs.

47. [Xianghe County, Hebei Province] Persecution Incidents Regarding Two Practitioners

Mr. Wang Kuiyi from Beiwutun Village, Liusong Town, Xianghe County, was arrested for the fourth time at a friend's home on October 15, 2007. He was later sentenced to three years of forced labor. Mr. Wang had been arrested from his sister's home on September 19, 2007. He is now in the Langfang City Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Wang Jianming from Dongliyuan Village, Qukou Town, Xianghe County, is an attending doctor in a Chinese Traditional Medicine Hospital. Personnel from the Shuyang Town Police Station arrested him on October 11, 2007. He is presently being held at the Langfang City Brainwashing Center.

48. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yuting Arrested

Personnel from the Beishi District Police Department's National Security Division in Baoding City broke into practitioner Ms. Liu Yuting's home and arrested her at 8:00 p.m. on October 15, 2007. She is presently being held at the city's detention center.

49. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Rulan, an Employee from the Huabei Oil Field, and Others Arrested

Ms. Li Rulan, an employee from the Huabei Oil Field Extraction Research Institute, was arrested on October 9, 2007 for distributing truth clarification materials. In addition, practitioners Ms. Pan Liping and Ms. Xu Yufeng, employees from the Huabei Oil Field, were arrested on October 15, 2007. They are presently being held at the oil field.

50. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Bao Arrested and Other Information

Yangyuan County Police Department deputy chief Zhao De and ten other officers broke into Mr. Liu Bao's home in Sanmafang Village, Sanmafang Township, at noon on October 8, 2007. They confiscated some Dafa books and materials and arrested Mr. Liu. He is presently being held at the county's detention center. Police also ransacked practitioner Ms. Ma Runlian's home in the same village. Fortunately, Ms. Ma escaped.

51. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tong Yan, in her 60s, from Liqigu Village, Liqingu Town, Dingzhou City, was arrested on October 12, 2007. She was handcuffed to a metal pipe for a whole day. Ms. Tong eventually escaped, but she chooses to live in exile. Police confiscated her copier.

Seventy-year-old Ms. Zhang Tongjuan was often harassed and her home was often ransacked. She has also chosen to live in exile.

Police arrested Ms. Xie Yuequn and Mr. Xie Wenjie and ransacked their home on October 15, 2007, when they posted materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Police confiscated a computer, a printer, and an MP3 player. The two are presently being held at the Maoming City No.1 Detention Center. Ms. Xie's motorcycle was also confiscated.

61. [Chongqing] Ms. Yuan Yinhua and Mr. Yuan Feiyou Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Yuan Yinhua and Mr. Yuan Feiyou, employees from the No. 3385 Factory in the Nanping No. 5 District in Chongqing City, were arrested in early October 2007. One of them was taken to the Jiangbei District Detention Center and the other's whereabouts are unknown.

62. [Miyi County, Sichuan Province] Thirty Practitioners Held at a Brainwashing Center

Thirty practitioners, including Ms. Li Zhengju, Ms. Li Yinqi, and Ms. Huang Chenghui from Caochang Township, Miyi County, were arrested and are presently being held in the township's brainwashing center.

63. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Ruan Fanghua Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor

Changsha City Police Department agents sentenced practitioner Ms. Ruan Fanghua to one and a half years of forced labor on October 7, 2007. She has been transferred from the city's No.1 Detention Center to the city's Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp.

64. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Bao Yumin and Ms. Zhang Yali Arrested

Fifty-year-old practitioner Ms. Bao Yumin from Zhuzhou City and 50-year-old practitioner Ms. Zhang Yali from Changsha City were arrested in Zhuzhou City the afternoon of October 17, 2007. Ms. Bao is an employee of the Zhuzhou City Railway Station. Ms. Zhang lives in the Tax Bureau's dorm at Chengnan Street in Changsha City. Ms. Zhang had been sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is in Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp.

65. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Guozhen Arrested

Personnel from the Guanghan City National Security Division and from the 610 Office broke into practitioner Ms. Jiang Guozhen's home at 11:00 a.m. on October 16, 2007. They ransacked her home and her store. They beat her ruthlessly and then took her to the Songlin Town Government Building. She is presently being held in the city's detention center.

66. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Zhihu from Zhongnan University Arrested and Taken to the City's Detention Center on September 8, 2007

67. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Yanxia and Ms. Chen Yanfang Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yanhua was arrested from her workplace on October 16, 2007. Police also arrested practitioner Ms. Chen Meifang, an employee from the Dongfeng Vehicle Company, at 10:00 a.m. on October 20, 2007.

68. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Police Arrest Ms. Jiang Layue

Policeman Zhou Jianbo and others arrested practitioner Ms. Jiang Layue at 10:00 a.m. on September 23, 2007. She is presently being held at the Dongan Detention Center. Family visits are denied.

69. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Ms. Wei, a Retired Employee from the Wenjiang No. 7111 Factory
