(Clearwisdom.net) The evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has persecuted Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners for over eight years. Some practitioners have been expelled from school by the Party and deprived of the opportunity to go to college. Other practitioners are not assigned a job after graduating from a university, while still others are fired, and their families broken up as a result of the persecution. Regardless of how vicious the Party is, these practitioners are not afraid of the evil and have become stronger and stronger and more and more mature. Falun Dafa practitioners are truly a golden light in this mortal world. Regardless of how enormous the ordeals seem, we all believe in Teacher and in Dafa, and save sentient beings.
These are the stories of several Dafa practitioners I know.
Ms. Liu
Prior to July 20, 1999, there was a high school student at our practice site. I'll call her Miss Liu. Before she practiced Dafa, her grades were not very good, but afterwards, her achievements improved and she was even admitted to a key university in the province in 1998.
While she was at this university, Miss Liu was in charge of a practice and Fa-study site. After the CCP began to persecute Falun Dafa, she and a postgraduate student went to Beijing's Tiananmen Square to appeal for Dafa. While she was holding a banner with the words "Falun Dafa Is Good," police officers put her into a police car and she was then taken back to her school. After this incident, the Party organization at the university expelled her from school.
Some of her classmates received good-paying jobs, some continued their studies in higher education, others went abroad for advanced studies, and others got married and had happy lives. After Miss Liu was dismissed from school, she went back to her hometown and had no other option but to do physical labor all day long. People look down on those who do physical labor because it is very hard and low paying. She did not complain or feel sorry it. She not only works but also studies the Fa, practices the exercises and "clarifies the facts" about Falun Gong. She quietly does things as a Dafa practitioner when saving people.
One night my computer broke. and I asked Miss Liu to come to my home and repair it for me. After the computer was fixed, I asked her, "You were wrongfully expelled from school. Do you regret what happened?" With a gentle smile Miss Liu answered, "Before I went to Beijing to validate the Fa, I was quite upset in my heart and felt suppressed, but after I returned from Beijing, my heart became much lighter. Studying Falun Dafa is not easy, but a life of ease can't help one endure big challenges."
Xiao Sun
Xiao Sun is a university graduate from a major medical university. He started to practice Dafa during the 1997 summer vacation, after he was introduced to it by his mother and elder sister. Because he learned Falun Dafa, he studied hard and improved his character. He used to have chronic hepatitis, but completely recovered after he started the practice. Prior to July 20, 1999, the school had already assigned jobs to its graduates. Xiao Sun and his girlfriend were assigned to the same provincial hospital and his classmates admired him.
On July 20, 1999, the CCP and Jiang's regime began to persecute Falun Dafa. At that time, Xiao Sun had not reported to the hospital yet. He went to Beijing to appeal and was detained for 15 days.
Since that time, the authorities have pressured Xiao Sun more and more severely. The CCP organization in the hospital drove him out, and he lost his job. He also lost his girlfriend and stayed at home all day. This incident was talked about among his relatives and friends. He endured intense pressure, but didn't stop studying the Fa for even one day. He also did not stop clarifying the facts and saving people, not even for one day.
Doctors in China's hospitals take kickbacks, and almost every doctor has a comfortable life. Xiao Sun's ex-girlfriend married someone else, and it was said that she went abroad for advanced studies. One day I asked Xiao Sun, "As a university graduate that stays at home and endures hardships, do you feel disappointed or bitter?" Xiao Sun said, "When I went to Beijing to validate the Fa, I just thought about saying a just word for Dafa and for Teacher, and I did not consider anything else. When Tangseng and his disciples went to the Western Paradise to get scriptures, they went through 81 tribulations and obtained the true scriptures. Sakyamuni gave up his life as a prince and joined cultivation, and Jesus was nailed to a cross. Yet, they successfully completed their missions. We are Dafa practitioners, and our sacrifices are our mighty virtue. We are actually the most lucky people and have true joy."
The year before last, Xiao Sun was sentenced to six years of imprisonment for clarifying the facts and is still in prison.
Zhuangzi
At our practice site there was a practitioner called Zhuangzi. He was around 30 years old before July 20, 1999, and worked in a foreign trade department as an English translator. Before he practiced Dafa, he was heavily interested in fame, various interests, and sentiment. After he learned Falun Dafa, he completely changed. On the way to the practice site, Zhuangzi saw some broken glass, and since he worried that it might injure other people's feet, he picked it up piece by piece and threw it into a trash bin. In order to help poor children attend school, Zhuangzi donated thousands of yuan. The staff in the foreign trade department all take kickbacks. After Zhuangzi learned Falun Dafa, he refused to take unearned money from his superiors.
Zhuangzi believes wholeheartedly in Teacher and Dafa. In order to assist Teacher in Fa-rectification and in saving sentient beings, he often distributes Dafa truth-clarification materials from door to door, and often stands on busy streets and hands out Dafa materials to people. The nights in the winter in the northeast are extremely cold. Zhuangzi once put up Dafa banners during a cold winter night. When he returned home, his hands were swollen from the freezing weather and had lost feeling.
Zhuangzi went to Beijing to validate the Fa three times, and also sat together with fellow practitioners on Tiananmen Square and read Zhuan Falun aloud He also held a banner on Tiananmen Square and shouted "Falun Dafa is good!"
The CCP's persecution of Falun Dafa has lasted over eight years, and Zhuangzi has spent five to six years in detention centers, as well as other detention facilities, forced labor camps, and prisons. Currently, he is still in prison and being tortured. He has been tortured with the method called the "big hang up" in which they handcuff both hands behind someone's back, tie a rope to the cuffs, and then pull the rope until the person's feet are off the ground. Average people could not bear such a torture, but Zhuangzi did not give in. Guards tortured him with several electric batons at the same times, and the skin on his entire body was burnt, but he did not give in. Zhuangzi's ribs were broken due to torture, and one of them protruded through the skin, but Zhuangzi still did not give in.
Last year, Zhuangzi was tortured so severely in a labor camp that he lost the ability to take care of himself. As it seemed he was about to die, the police extorted a lot of money from his father and then released him from the labor camp. Seven days later, Zhuangzi regained his health by practicing and studying Falun Dafa.
One day Zhuangzi came to my home and shared some of his cultivation experiences with me. I asked him, "Because of the persecution, you lost your job, you lost your girl friend, you lost your house, and you suffered so much in prison. Do you regret it?" He replied, "When Dafa practitioners encounter persecution and torture, these are arrangements by the old forces. Because we still have many attachments and loopholes, the old forces can take advantage of them and persecute us. Although the CCP rampantly persecutes, am I not well now? I still study Dafa, tell people the truth and thereby save them as I did before. We all know that we have waited for Falun Dafa for thousands of years, tens of thousands of years, hundreds of millions of years, and we have had countless hardships during that period. We only suffer a bit now, which is nothing. It is hard to find Falun Dafa in thousands of years and tens of thousands of years. We should not miss this lucky chance, that is for sure. I only follow my path in learning Dafa. Even if the evil puts a knife in my neck, I won't change."
In the face of the CCP's persecution, Dafa practitioners are fearless.
