(Clearwisdom.net) Following the events of July 20, 1999, the persecutory environment made it difficult for us to continue group practice and Fa study. Practitioners were scattered about. We all deeply missed the group practice and study. Teacher left us the formality of Fa study. It is the best way to help us improve our xinxing together as a whole body.
1. Group Study Experience
I formed a two-person study group with another practitioner in the beginning of 2000. In a short time our xinxing improved greatly, and it was very obvious that our fear had largely subsided. As a result, we felt we should distribute more truth clarification materials, and before we realized it, materials started to arrive at my home, box after box. I usually distributed a portion of the materials randomly to nearby practitioners, and the rest would be for the two of us to distribute. As we continued studying the Fa, we distributed more and more materials. We were less fearful and realized that the time for saving sentient beings was very limited. We also realized how sacred Fa-rectification cultivation is.
Other practitioners saw our progress and understood the importance of following Teacher's arrangement to study the Fa in a group. Soon, one after another, more than ten fellow practitioners started to come to my home to practice and study the Fa with the group. My home was soon too small to accommodate everybody, so we tried to arrange for additional groups. We improved as a whole body very quickly. In order to save sentient beings, we began with distributing truth-clarification materials, and then we started to clarify the truth to people individually. We began with a single practitioner clarifying the truth; later, the practitioner's whole family helped clarify the truth together. The field of righteous thought was very strong, and we were all surprised and happy with the result of group Fa-study. Two more Fa-study groups met at my home, and soon another one was scheduled after supper time. Young practitioners weren’t holding back either, and they formed their own study group as well. As adults, we were touched by their actions. Young practitioners used their time very efficiently. They gave up a Chinese New Year trip, as well as the opportunity to visit their relatives, both of which they used to do regularly in past years. Instead, they gathered together to study the Fa for two hours and practice the exercises. During the fifth exercise, the sitting meditation, one teenage boy felt pain to the point of tears. However, he saw that fellow practitioners all kept going, so he did also. An adult practitioner saw the situation and felt distressed for him, and told him, "It's okay to put your legs down." But the boy did not give up. One day, another young practitioner went to the park and was able to clarify the truth to another young child. The child's parents were present and dressed in police uniforms. The young practitioner still gave truth clarifying materials to the child, and as a result the whole family was saved. We all felt gratified to learn this story.
2. Harmonizing as a Whole Body through Truth-Clarification Materials Production and Saving Sentient Beings
Seeing the changes in our area, two of us as coordinators were able to find some time to proactively contact practitioners from the surrounding area and exchange ideas and Fa experiences. They then started to gather together and form Fa-study groups as well. As a result the whole area changed greatly. Many more practitioners began stepping out, and cooperation improved. We were able to effectively validate the Fa and save sentient beings. After a major site for truth-clarification materials production was discovered and suspended, Teacher required us to establish sites elsewhere. At the beginning, everybody felt it would be very hard to make progress, so two of us as coordinators tried to get started first. Because we had studied the Fa together, everybody started to realize that it was our predetermined mission to overcome any difficulties. Practitioners producing materials also felt the sacredness of our mission. All the gods in heaven were watching us as we produced more materials and saved more and more sentient beings. As we cleared away the evil and validated the Fa, our fellow practitioners' xinxing gradually improved and more and more practitioners felt that they could not let this valuable opportunity pass by. More and more practitioners joined our effort. As a result, the number of sites increased in number. Each site helps the other and the production is now very efficient. The materials we make include DVDs of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, truth clarifying brochures, pictures, stickers, banners, etc. When all these materials are produced, we not only supply our local needs, but also help out other areas with emergency needs. What we do is to save sentient beings, and it's our responsibility to do our best to give all kinds of help to whoever is in need at any time. One time, in order to save a captured fellow practitioner, 2000 copies of colored flyers were needed in a very short period of time. With the coordination of several sites together, it took us only one day to finish the production and to provide additional brochures and DVDs as well. This helped to eliminate and restrain the evil, cleared away the persecution of our fellow practitioners and reduced damages. We also helped with producing Dafa-related books and materials in an effort to improve ourselves as well as to save sentient beings.
3. By Searching Within and Cooperating Well, the Evil Will of Itself No Longer Exist
Because we have several groups cooperating together, conflicts and xinxing clashes have surfaced here and there. I like doing things fast, and sometimes I am very impatient. When coordinating with others, my tone can be demanding. Other practitioners view this from the standpoint of the Fa, so they do not have any direct conflict with me. Instead, they search within themselves to improve xinxing. Of course, they always kindly point out my problem to me. I can then measure my own actions with the Fa and realize my shortcomings and sincerely improve myself. As a whole body, we also improve together. When practitioners are involved in conflicts with one another, we are able to look at ourselves and search within, so the conflict resolves automatically. For several years, practitioners in our area have always been able to cooperate well with each other without leaving any gaps. Thus, we are very effective in validating the Fa as a whole body, clarifying the truth, and helping people quit the Chinese Communist Party.
In our area, it seems that there are just two coordinators, but in fact, everybody is a coordinator. When clarifying the truth to people, whoever comes up with a good idea, we will use that idea. When we started to distribute the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, we had barriers in our understanding. Some practitioners felt that this was because we had not been able to catch up with Teacher's Fa-rectification process. Teacher has said,
"Make clear the truth, and drive off foul spirits. Spread widely the Nine Commentaries, and the wicked Party shall fade." ("For the Good of the World")
There was a practitioner who then distributed more than 700 copies of the Nine Commentaries within a month. In addition, the books were accompanied by all kinds of truth-clarification materials. We all worked hard to produce the Nine Commentaries books in order to meet the demand. When we realized the importance of the Nine Commentaries, we distributed as many as possible and made true progress with this.
One day near the end of August 2006, at 10:00 a.m., an older practitioner went to the market to clarify the truth, and she gave a watermelon-seller some truth-clarification materials. An undercover policeman was in the area and recorded her with a camcorder just before he illegally arrested her. The practitioner firmly resisted and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" She was then dragged into the police car and sent to the local police station. Previously, if a practitioner was captured, we would complain and blame the captured person for having loopholes. This time, there was no complaint or blame, and as soon as other practitioners got the news, they started sending righteous thoughts immediately to help her and to eliminate the evil. At 9:00 p.m., the captured practitioner got out of the prison with righteous thoughts. After the event, we held a Fa conference to search within ourselves. We realized that we had become relaxed during that period of time and in addition, we also felt too good about ourselves, and the attachment of zealotry had surfaced. Our dimensional field had a deficiency as a result, and the evil found the loophole. Thinking back, if our dimensional field was strong and without any shortcomings, the evil would not dare to come to us at all. With Teacher watching over us, we were able to find and close the loophole, and we as a whole body again improved ourselves. We strive forward diligently and do the three things well. We follow Teacher's requirements closely and have never stopped improving ourselves as a whole body with group Fa-study. We have maintained a stable Fa-rectification cultivation environment in our area. Teacher has said,
"The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." ("Drive Out Interference")
